Fun trip to two capitals!

This was a fun, leisurely trip to see two great capitals! The itinerary was excellent - a good balance of guided and free exploring. Our guide Ahmed was attentive and knowledgeable. Just a warning that the Viator app may give you some strange notifications about your pickup spot, but the company communicates at least 24 hours before for confirmation.

5 Stars! An Absolute highlight!

I’ve done countless food tours across more than 12 countries, but this one truly stands out as something special! From the start, the setup was fantastic. The meeting location allowed me to show up an hour early to explore a vibrant local market just down the street, a hidden gem I never would have discovered on my own. Our hosts: Flora(hopefully spelled right), Niki, and Danika, were exceptional. Their incredible energy, warmth, and depth of knowledge (not just about local history, but about other cultures as well) genuinely blew me away. The history shared throughout the tour was incredibly eye-opening, and tasting authentic, traditional Hungarian food in Budapest was a real highlight. To top it all off, we were given a sweet little recipe book to take home. In all my travels and food tours around the world, I’ve never had a guide team do that before! It’s such a thoughtful touch that lets you bring the experience home with you. If you're in Budapest, do not hesitate, book this tour! Highly recommend!

Milan was our guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and made it a priority to engage us and answer our many questions. If you are in Budapest, this is a must with Milan. A commentary from one of my kids: He was very funny and always tried to keep us in shade ( temp was close to 100f). He also found a way to make the tour not just history but a way to make memories.

Don't Miss the Beer Spa!

This is a don't miss experience in Budapest - the Thermal Spas overall were great but the Beer Spa took the day to another level! Attendants were helpful, facilities super clean, private changing room / locker very convenient. Bar on the terrace a great place to grab a refreshment! Highly recommend!

Dinner on the Danube

We had a wonderful night on the River Diva dinner cruise. Beautiful food, amazing staff and sumptuous surroundings. The main buffet area rose out of the floor after the boat had set sail - a sight to see. Drinks and food in plentiful supply with wine and cocktails, beers and of course water to temper the alcohol. The weather was perfect too making it an experience we are so glad we did and would do again if we return to Budapest.

Our Guide Susannah is...

Our Guide Susannah is HIGHLY recommended. She grew up in Budapest and had tremendous local knowledge. She was able to tell us many stories about the history of Budapest that were fascinating. She also spoke English fluently, and was a delightful person. It was 105 degrees on out tour, and she made sure we were in the shade, and using public transportation to maximize our sightseeing. Out of a scale of 1 to 10 we rate her a 12!!

We did the 6pm which was nice and tame, the staff are amazing at coming found and filling up your glass with Prosecco and Bellini’s so your glass is never empty. We enjoyed it that much, we got off the boat and queued for the 8pm knowing it was livelier with a DJ and dance floor and busier. That was also great. The cocktails if you do the premium are also delicious and not cheap and nasty. The pinacolada in particular was top notch

Great way to spend a few hours in Budapest

We have done many food tours in many cities and this was a very good tour. George gets very high marks for his organization. He took care of every little detail including having wipes, cups, and toothpicks available. I also liked that he took us to places outside the central market. His narrative along the tour was also informative and he was very personable. He really took care of us noting that we had plowed through the Lagos and got our group a other portion to share!

Nice quality dinner cruise

We were really surprised by how good the food was on this cruise. It was much higher quality than we expected and both of us enjoyed everything that we ordered. The entertainment felt authentic and they were clearly very talented. It was quite loud so if we had known that we would likely have selected a table further from the stage. The night view of Budapest is unbelievable and we love the pictures that we took from the outside area.
