Fantastic tour!
This was a great way to see both Arlington National Cemetery and Mount Vernon all in one day, without the worry of figuring out transportation! Christopher shared his knowledge throughout the day and we learned a lot! So much better with a guide, than trying to figure it out on our own!

Our experience was excellent, but the tour guide should have allowed a little more time for lunch. The restaurant Mount Vernon Inn’s service was quite slow.

This is a good opportunity to visit Washington's estate that's some distance from DC, especially if you don't have a car. Highly recommended - you will have about 3.5 hours there which is enough to walk past every building. Most are reconstructions based on what we know about the old days.

Mt. Vernon in May
If you go in May beware of middle school groups touring and causing the lines to be longer than usual leaving you little time to explore the grounds.
