What are people saying about Denver

May at Pikes Peak
Absolutely a wonderful experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and great sense of humor.
The GoG and Pikes Peak was well worth the journey outside Denver. A must see. Of note, we went in early May so the road to the summit of Pikes Peak may be closed but we went up to 11k feet and the views were spectacular.

Awesome Rocky Mountains Adventure
I had an amazing day learning about and seeing the Rocky Mountains and all the wildlife. Our tour guide Robert Thurber was amazing with his wealth of knowledge about the Rocky Mountains and all the wildlife that we saw along the way. I would highly recommend doing this day trip when you're in denver.

Great for history buffs!
Hans, our tour guide, was a retired school teacher. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. He frequently checked in to make sure everyone in the tour group was having fun, comfortable, and take care of. The tour was fantastic, the mine and panning for gold were wonderful as well. Definitely a must-do for anyone even tangentially interested in history, geology, or learning about the state!

It was unseasonably warm...
It was unseasonably warm for February but it was beautiful. Our tour guide was very nice and could answer most questions about the places on the itinerary. However, it would have been nice to have more commentary on the long ride to Breckenridge (even it it were taped or preprogrammed).

Denver Resident? Still a must do!
Andrew is amazing! He is so knowledgeable and quite funny with his one liners. I’ve lived in Colorado for over 13 years and it’s so fun being a tourist in your own city. I learned so much about Cap Hill! I’m a former history teacher and now travel a lot, so I love walking tours, but this one was unique! Highly recommend, especially for spooky season.

Spectacular in Every Way!
We’re still talking about the amazing tour we took with Jason to Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods! We were lucky to have a clear, beautiful, sunny day, and with the fall foliage in full display, the views were absolutely spectacular. The cog railway ride up to Pikes Peak was another unforgettable highlight. Despite the freezing temperatures, it was so special to reach the summit and say we stood 14,115 feet above sea level!
As incredible as the sights were, Jason truly made this tour second to none. His friendly, easygoing nature and genuine determination to give us the best possible experience made all the difference. He went out of his way to take photos for the group, kept us entertained with his jokes and stories, and impressed us with his extensive knowledge—there wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer.
We feel so lucky to have had Jason as our guide. The entire Aspire experience was exceptional from start to finish, and we can’t recommend this tour highly enough!

Experience the Rocky Mountains.
The hike is beautiful and most fitness levels can achieve it. We even had a beautiful wildlife experience. Seeing the elk heard and hearing the bugling in the memory for a lifetime. Our guide was knowledgeable, fun, and met the needs of all the participants.

Wonderful tour! Highly recommend!
Wonderful tour! If staying in Denver great to explore beyond the city and see the sights. Beautiful views. Tour guide was very knowledgeable, shared so much interesting info and a safe driver too! Only suggestion is to make the 1 hour stop at Golden longer. It felt rushed.

Great Tour with Phil
This full-day tour was a very nice way to spend the day seeing Rocky Mountain National Park, especially if you're not very comfortable driving in the high mountains.
The tour guide, Phil, was very knowledgeable and he also wasn't afraid to admit when he wasn't certain about the answer to a question. He was very good at spotting wildlife for the group to see. He kept up a lively commentary on our way up to and through Rocky Mountain National Park and he had lots of great information to share. On the way back, he was respectful of the fact that we were probably tired and he turned on some music and let us be alone with our thoughts, check pictures we'd taken, etc. Phil was punctual and kept the group moving at the time he stated for people to be back to the van. I appreciated this because I've been on many tours where time limits were a mere suggestion and were not adhered to. The fact that this was a small group (8 people) probably contributed to the ability to be on time.
There were a couple of things that were stated on the day's itinerary that we did not get to do, unfortunately. One person on the tour asked whether we would be crossing the Continental Divide, which was stated in the itinerary, but we did not get there. (Phil did point it out, but we did not cross it and get the opportunity for a photo as stated.) The other thing I noticed was that we did not see the Alluvial Fan, as was stated in the itinerary. That was something I would have liked to see. Phil did ask as we were starting our journey to name something we were looking forward to during the day. Perhaps it is my fault for not specifically mentioning this one item at that time, but I will admit that I was a little bummed that we didn't get to see this. I did end up giving the tour five stars, however, because I do think Phil showed us other interesting things, such as several stops for elk since it was their mating season, and we did fill up practically the entire length of our 10 hours together.
