What are people saying about Charleston

Great history!
What a great tour! The ferry ride over was one of the best parts. Stephanie, our park ranger, gave us a wonderful history of
The fort and area during the civil war era. She was so knowledgeable and entertaining! The fort was self guided, so you were free to wander. Really enjoyed every part of the trip!

Our walking tour with Brian was phenomenal! He was friendly, punctual and extremely knowledgeable. His love of Charleston and the incredible deep history it has shines through when we walked around the city together. Thank you for a great time Brian! Highly recommend!

Don't skip this tour.
David was an exceptional guide. Seeing the city through the eyes of a native Charleston-ite is a Don't-Miss-Experience. He was knowledgeable, witty, and paced the tour perfectly. It was obvious that one could take the tour multiple times and have an entirely new and valuable experience each time. This tour turned Charleston into my new favorite destination.

French Quarter Food Tour
This was an absolutely wonderful tour. Our guide, Beth, was super knowledgeable about the history of Charleston, and the local scene. In addition to the restaurants, she took us into a couple of other local spots. The food was great, and a shout out to the Well Hung winery. The braised short ribs were amazing, as well as the wine slushy on a 95 degree day.

Mr. James’ Tour - So Cool and His Jokes are Funny:)
If you want to truly experience the timeless charm and rich heritage of Charleston, this walking tour is an absolute must. Strolling down the historic streets and taking in the breathtaking 18th- and 19th-century architecture feels like stepping back into a more gracious era.
Mr. James and his stories were absolute perfection! He brought the grand churches, hidden courtyards, alleyways, antebellum mansions, and iconic pastel facades of Rainbow Row to life with incredible depth and engaging storytelling. The route offers a wonderful blend of scenic beauty and historical context, making it the ultimate way to get acquainted with the Holy City. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates classic elegance, architectural depth, and a memorable, immersive experience;)

Book this tour!
We recently completed the Historic Guided Walking tour of Charleston with Evans. The rainstorm that lasted the entire tour didn't dampen his energy or passion for history. Evans was thorough and knowledgeable; he easily answered all questions. I am confident we heard an amazing history of Charleston (including its flora and fauna) we wouldn't have gotten anywhere else. Highly recommend!

We had a group ranging...
We had a group ranging from age 82 to age 12 and Adam’s stories of Charleston history and pace of the tour were enjoyed by all. The combination of ghost stories and Charleston history made this a learning and spooky experience! If you’re looking to go into graveyards and cemeteries, this is likely not the experience for you- but if you’re hoping to experience a more realistic and informative ghost tour that speaks to all, please choose this!

The best ghost tour in Charleston
This is an informative and fun ghost tour. Mike has done a lot of research about sightings in the area. He’s passionate about it and it shows. He has some amazing stories that keep your attention the entire tour. He’s a very polished guide and makes the tour fun. We really enjoyed it.

Charleston Harbor Cruise
This tour is well worth it. Cruising the harbor and seeing the sights with the breeze at your face was amazing. Our sunset was fantastic and seeing Charleston from the water was a great view. The captain’s narrative was very informative.
Make sure you make room in your itinerary for this tour on your visit.,

So much fun!
We booked this tour on July 4th for the history aspect and getting to see some areas in Charleston we knew we wouldn't want to miss seeing. The trip did not disappoint! Our guide was a hoot! He had a fantastic personality and was very humorous and knowledgeable about the history of Charleston. Unfortunately, a guy along the route starting taunting and yelling about the horse and abusive use of the carriage. Our guide was extremely professional and polite and addressed the man in a positive manner. The horses here are so loved and cared for and it shows. Our guide also informed us of just how much care and attention goes into these amazing gentle giants everyday. Charlie was our horse and everyone could tell he was very well loved and taken care of. I would absolutely recommend this trip in Charleston!

Bill was filled with...
Bill was filled with knowledge of the history of Charleston as well as a love of Charleston. The walk was not too strenuous and he attempted to keep us in the shade as much as possible, thankfully. We enjoyed his tour and would recommend it for those who would like to hear a portion of Charleston’s past.

This tour was fantastic!...
This tour was fantastic! Adam is an incredible guide and public speaker. He was engaging and had lots of interesting facts to add in on every subject we asked him about. He took us to fascinating sights. Was not a difficult walk at all. We learned a lot on this tour and had a great time while doing it. For some people in our group this was their favorite part of the whole trip. I highly recommend this tour and I usually book a history or sightseeing tour everywhere I visit. This is well worth it
