Best Charleston Tour guide
This is, by far, the best tour I've ever taken in Charleston! Cooper has vast knowledge of the history of Charleston and tells of things that our history does not teach. He makes the tour fun and humorous as well. I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn TRUE Charleston history!

This was a great, small group tour that started at The Angel tree, onto Charleston Tea company where we had plenty of time to shop, tour the factory and take the tram through the property.
Then off to a winery to relax, sip wine and grab some food.
the guide was great

Outstanding, highly recommend - be sure to book this local expertise
Kim our host/driver was amazing. A native of Charleston, she knows it backwards and forwards. Excellent speaking style, very interesting and totally knowledgeable. Be sure to ask for Kim, she is that good and be sure you don't get on any other 'brand' of tour. Tour is worth the time and money. We love Charleston and come here at least once a year, and enjoy these bus tours

A great way to start your visit to Charleston!
This was such a lovely tour. First, driver Daniel was kind enough to assist us in finding our tour guide, the Meg. He was especially helpful with my mother who is mobility challenged. Meg greeted us warmly, made sure we were comfortable, and gave us a lovely tour of our city. We’re locals, but I have never done anything like this. We were a small group of four adults and found the experience just right. We were able to get out a few times and stretch, and saw a great deal of the city in a short amount of time. Would highly recommend this activity as you begin your visit to Charleston or if you were a long time local looking for a new perspective on the city. Both Daniel and Meg were wonderful representatives of their tour company.

Meg was a delight; she was organized, punctual, and informative! She was a lot of fun and gave us a good overview of the plantation and Charleston. The tour was great; we enjoyed the nature and the slavery to freedom tours. Well worth the cost and highly recommend.

Exceptional OBX Tour and Guide
Jill was the consummate host! Deeply knowledgeable about all things OBX, she took us to the very best locations, set up beautiful shots, and shared lots of insights from her time on the OBX shoots. She knew all the story lines and locations like the back of her hand. Jill was warm and friendly, patient and attentive, kind and funny. We had the very best day ever! If you get the privilege of having Jill guide you, don’t miss it!

Excellent Tour to Boon Hall Plantation
Gregg was a great tour driver he explained a lot of information of what we were going to see at the Boon Hall Plantation. Provided us directions when we got there so we knew how to make the most of our time at the plantation. On the drive there he pointed out things to look at and could take pictures from the shuttle. He was very professional and friendly.

Great way to start your stay in Charleston!
Traveling on a girls trip with a friend from New York and this was a wonderful trip to start our long weekend off. Our driver was very knowledgeable, we learned so much about the city, got a great overview of the different neighborhoods and locations. This was a great start to our stay in Charlestown.

Absolutely amazing and worth the money
We were able to meet Julian Bucton at the start of our tour and have his booked signed. This book recounts the stories which are shared on the tour along with other ghost stories that have been historically verified. Simon was an amazing storyteller. We enjoyed learning about the historical ghost stories along with seeing the photos of the ghosts that previous tourists had captured and shared with Simon.

Discovering Charleston’s Soul—The Good, The Bad, and The Beautiful
I truly enjoyed this 1.5-hour bus tour through historic Charleston. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. He shared so much fascinating history about the city, the food, and even the good, bad, and ugly sides of Charleston’s past, all in a very warm and respectful way. Despite the rainy weather, the cozy bus made the experience even better. It was the perfect way to see the city and learn about its rich culture and heritage. Highly recommend!

5 stars for Sarah!
We really enjoyed our ghost tour with Sarah! She was so passionate about what she does, and it truly came through in her storytelling. Sarah had a great sense of humor and kept the experience lighthearted, but also managed to connect deeply with the history and the stories she shared. It made the tour both entertaining and meaningful — definitely a highlight of our trip!

Tour before you roam the town
Very informative. We did this so the next day we are able to see what we wished to see on our own and how the town is laid out. As for our tour guide he was impressive with his knowledge and history. Even the background information was extremely interesting.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Downtown Charleston is wonderfully walkable. However, book a Charleston bus tour if you want to cover a lot of ground in a short time while taking in the most important and photogenic sights. Especially on hot, humid days—not unusual in South Carolina, especially in the summer months—you can relax in an air-conditioned coach while listening to your guide share entertaining and informative commentary. Some Charleston bus tours include museum admission or opportunities to get off the bus for photo ops.
