Surprisingly therapeutic and a great way to create your own souvenir from Tokyo
Excellent experience with very friendly staff who were very patient with us and speak great English. Lots of options to choose from. You do need to pay more for special wood types and for engraving which we all did as we thought it was worth it. It is very therapeutic to hand make your own chopsticks! 5 stars

amazing time
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had an amazing experience at Chopsticks! The workshop was fun, interactive, and something truly unique to do while visiting Tokyo. The instructors were incredibly patient, kind, and made the entire process easy to follow, even for beginners.
Creating our own personalized chopsticks was such a special souvenir and one of the highlights of our trip. The attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel very welcome. We especially loved learning about the cultural significance behind the craftsmanship.
If you’re looking for a memorable, hands-on experience in Tokyo, I highly recommend this workshop for families, couples, and anyone wanting to take home something meaningful from Japan. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
If you’d like, I can also make it sound more personal by mentioning your family and your teenage boys enjoying the experience.

Simon is the best!!
If you like to drink than this is the tour for you! Simon was an absolute gem from start to finish and this tour wouldn’t have been nearly as great without someone as knowledgeable as him! He gave great recommendations for the sake, the food, and took care of everything so we just needed to show up and drink! Make sure to take that tumeric drink he offers you at the beginning because it for sure helped all of us!! Cannot sing enough praises for this tour and for Simon!!

Fantastic experience. I was the only one in the group so I had a personal experience. I had a throughly enjoyable time. His teaching was excellent. I learnt about the history as well as the experience. He also gave me the opportunity to have photos done as well. Well worth it. Highly recommended. One of the highlights of my visit to Japan

Learn the Kintsugi Golden Art
The art of repairing broken ceramic wares with a golden lined design, the Kinstugi experience. Book in advance and learn under a local master craftsman. As a novice, it is fun and doable wherein with a little guidance and a bit of effort produces a memorable unique masterpiece of your own that you can take home as a special souvenir. Nothing beats that! A++ Must!!

Relaxing and Soothing
Super fun and relaxing activity. It’s really rewarding to clean your ring and see the age and stains go away. Momoyo, the instructor was so kind and incredibly cheery! Originally I was going to make one ring but I liked it so much I decided to make another ring before I left. Loved this!

Perfect blend of history, culture, hands-on experience
This was a wonderful and memorable experience - highly recommend. It was the perfect mix of history and hands-on experience. We learned so much and had a great time. We loved hearing about the clan history, the various weapons, dressing as a ninja, trying some skills out. The woman who owns the dojo (whose descended from a great samurai house) and the gentleman samurai and female scribe were great - so kind and knowledgeable.

Highly recommended!
I booked a private lesson for my 17 year old son and me. I'm a complete beginner but my son is at an intermediate level. Nao-san tailored the class very well for both of us. She encouraged and guided him to try out his own ideas (I followed templates). He was impressed with her skills and how she demonstrated techniques effortlessly on the whiteboard eg showing how with only a few changes you can change a mood or character completely. I really enjoyed trying the g pen and special manga tools.
Thank you very much Nao-san!

Amazing Introduction to Akihabara!
We had a fantastic time on our Akihabara tour with Naoki. He was incredibly kind, patient, and thoughtful (especially with our two kids, one of whom is autistic) and he really tailored the experience to their interests rather than doing a generic walk-through.
What stood out most was how much care he took with our food allergies. He gave us practical, realistic advice about eating in Japan and even made us handwritten allergy cards in Japanese, which was far beyond what we expected and will be very helpful for the rest of our time here.
He also helped us navigate the chaos of Akihabara (which is a lot) making it a fun experience - and giving us the tools we will need to come back later to finish our shopping - my son is also excited to try out the cat cafe he pointed out! Thank you, Naoki!
Highly recommend this tour, especially for families or anyone feeling a bit intimidated by Akihabara.

Mr. Hoshi an old world master
Mr. Hoshi is an amazing pottery master, even though he is so modest. Very thorough and patient teaching brought the plate maker out of my wife and the cup maker out of me. We both layered the rice bowl as well. Unfortunately, due to uncertainty in tariffs and shipping, we were jot able to take our creations home. But we will return and do this again. The class size was small and you get a lot of help, attention, and praise from Mr.Hoshi. bravo!!!

We had a great time with...
We had a great time with Emi. We received the recipes for our selected dishes and met up in a kitchen studio. Emi was very kind and explained us what to do, step by step. The food was really good and we take some precious memories with us.
Our selected recipes:
Gyoza (Shrimp)
Yakisoba (Vegetarian)
Ginger fried pork

This was a wonderful...
This was a wonderful experience for our family with 3 teens. The couple were delightful and great teachers. We learned a lot about different kinds of ramen and the ingredients that go into making a flavorful bowl. We prepared most of the ingredients and then focused on the goyza while the broth cooked. They did a great job instructing us on preparing and shaping the dumplings.
Go hungry and know you won’t need lunch after. We ate everything we made! It was all outstanding. Highly recommend!
