This was an amazing experience! I highly recommend! Definitely would do it again when back! She knows what she is doing and she does it well, I felt gorgeous. All the attire was beautiful and she styled me perfectly!

This shop was off the beaten path but I felt like it was a more organic experience. The shop owner was very kind and helpful. I picked a beautiful orange Kimono and she helped me pick beautiful gold and white accessories. I was nervous about respecting the culture and wearing it correctly but I felt comfortable going out in it. I shared that my Grandmother was Japanese and that I was doing this i her honor. I would definitely recommend this rental shop.

They were very nice and did a great job dressing us but then you on your own. Was under impression they would take us to a park to view Cherry Blossom and take picture. They did take our picture for us in front of the building we rented Komonos. Again very nice lady and she took care of us on dressing us up.

A Great Memory and Experience You Can Recreate Back Home

I felt like I really learned about why they do each step of the tea ceremony and because they repeat each step it’s easier to remember. And using the image of a clock face helps to remind you where each piece goes. And if you love matcha then you should buy one of the beautiful matcha bowl tea sets they sell as a keepsake/souvenir! They’re beautiful!

Instructions were very clear for location. It was very fun to dress up. Big variety for colors and belts. My daughter and I enjoyed it very much. We did not do the tea ceremony as it is done through a different reservation.

Difficult to navigate

The location was very difficult to find. We spent an hour and a half looking. Finally viator sent pictures. The individual who dressed us was nice although seemed really rushed. Pricing was very confusing. We were told to meet a photographer at the temple but could not find him. She knew how to put Kimono together well.

Amazing Kimono Experience

This experience was so much fun. We were the only two in the studio (which was great because it was a cozy place). The shop worker helped get us dressed in our beautiful kimonos and styled our hair to perfection! We looked so good and everyone made the experience magical! so glad we went with this company
