Making my own set of chopsticks was a fun and rewarding experience. They staff was very friendly and had some good pointers on sightseeing in Tokyo and Japan.

We had an amazing experience at Chopsticks! The workshop was fun, interactive, and something truly unique to do while visiting Tokyo. The instructors were incredibly patient, kind, and made the entire process easy to follow, even for beginners.
Creating our own personalized chopsticks was such a special souvenir and one of the highlights of our trip. The attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel very welcome. We especially loved learning about the cultural significance behind the craftsmanship.
If you’re looking for a memorable, hands-on experience in Tokyo, I highly recommend this workshop for families, couples, and anyone wanting to take home something meaningful from Japan. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

What a fun time with the family. Great selection of woods and they guide you through the whole process. We would definitely do this again! Great souvenirs to bring home!
The staff was welcoming and friendly and the process took about an hour, which was perfect. You get to choose what type of wood to use and select an engraving, though there is an additional cost involved for some options. We were impressed by how nice the finished product was and look forward to using the chopsticks at home!

Just finished a chopstick-making class in Shibuya and it was easily one of the best experiences I’ve had in Japan. The two gentlemen running it are incredibly hands-on the entire time—they really guide you through every step so you’re not just watching, you’re actually creating something you’re proud of.
They’re also super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience feel relaxed and personal rather than like a typical class. One thing I really appreciated is how small they keep the group sizes. It never felt rushed—they made sure to spend real, quality time with each person.
On top of that, they gave amazing recommendations for food spots and places to check out in different towns, which honestly made the experience even more valuable.
10 out of 10 recommend. If you’re considering a chopstick-making class in Shibuya, do this one over any other.

Great experience that results in a lovely souvenir. They were very kind, helpful and patient with us when me and my friends visited. Very much worth the money.
On-site you can pick what wood you would like. Two kinds of wood was included in the ticket price whilst the rest had an additional fee to pick.
Even if you mess up your chopsticks, which most likely won't happen, then you will get to try again.
The scheduled time was 1 hr for my group of 4 people. We spent a lot of time sanding, resulting in us going over the allotted time. It wasn't an issue however since it was relatively calm in the morning.
Friendly informative team. They didn't rush us and helped us at each stage. I now have a unique, personalised set of chopsticks. I would highly recommend going.
