What are people saying about Tokyo

Unique way to create a memento.
Fun , different, well organized. Something you are unlikely to find elsewhere.
Carrie in particular was knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and made the experience go exceptionally well.
Repaired broken ceramic plate or bowl, sanded down the edges (some decent arm exercise) then glue, tape the edges, and apply gold color material.
Makes a unique memento , while doing something active and learning about ceramic techniques.
Highly recommend. Especially Carrie.

Great Family Fun and Excellent Learning Experience
Very simple but enjoyable presentation, workspace is clean and Martin was a blast to work with. Knives are gorgeous and the handles were easy to handle. Signage outside building made location easy to find as well as lots of fun people doing other crafts to make a festive environment. (We enjoyed so much, we will likely return to make our own chopsticks)

Fun activity to make a memento of your trip!
We had a very good experience here! We accidentally went to a different Nane location and were almost an hour late for our appointment. the staff messaged us and helped us go to the right place. They were so kind and patient with us! They explained all the different options we have when making a ring! Ring shape, width, metal, and design. I can't emphasize enough how patient the staff was. They taught us how to hammer and size our own rings, so much fun!!!! We had our rings polished as well, and they took only an hour and a half until they were ready. They have silver, white gold. Rose gold, yellow gold, and green gold, as well as combinations of each of the metals! We added on engraving option for a very good price too! I definitely recommend coming here!

My partner and I had such a fun and memorable experience making our own chopsticks in Tokyo. From start to finish, it was engaging, relaxing, and surprisingly rewarding. The instructors were patient and guided us through each step, making it easy even for beginners.

Book now!
This was a great two hour class complete with history of ninjas and samurais and a review of their weapons. The teacher was great and made an effort to make sure I was coordinated properly and safely all while having so much fun! I spent 5 days in Tokyo and two weeks later I am writing this review while in Osaka right now. Anyone and everyone I have met along the way now knows about this experience and I highly suggested they take this very unique experience. This is great for families and groups of friends to do, even solo travelers like me! Don’t hesitate, book this experience!

Ring Workshop in Shibuya is Worth the Hype!
My wife and I had a fantastic time creating our own rings at this unique and fun workshop! The people working at the Shibuya location were exceptionally kind and helpful. We had a fantastic time and also love the lifetime guarantee of repairs. Will definitely recommend this experience to others!

It was really cool...
It was really cool carving and sanding the wood down to make the chopsticks. There was a nice variety of wood to choose from, with labels telling you what country the wood came from. The staff was really friendly and gave clear instructions on the process to make your chopsticks. A very enjoyable experience with a cool souvenir to take home.

Great and authentic Japanese experience
This was such a great and authentic Japanese experience, I can't recommend it enough. If you're looking for more creative experiences for your trips, this is the one to do in Japan. The staff is great, and the instructions were very clear and easy for something that I thought would be very complex. They provide you with a "pre-broken" ceramic dish that you will then file, epoxy, and add gold to. They also give you a box and packing materials for safe transport. Really loved this workshop, this is a must-do in Tokyo

Title is misleading; no...
Title is misleading; no knife making only sharpening. Pay upcharge for bigger knife. Fun and friendly staff. Tought me how to sharpen my kitchen knife. Great experience overall. I wish there was engraving on the blade itself as well and not just the handle.

10/10 Would Recommend
The instructor was so knowledgeable on the art of kintsugi and urushi laquerwear. He’s a very interesting guy, as well! This workshop was a great introduction to the art form and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it while on our honeymoon. The instructor took his time helping everyone in the group make their kintsugi creation so if you’re unsure of your level of creativity, this is a great workshop for you. The cafe the workshop is held inside, AOU, is super cute and the staff are so kind and helpful. Very easy to find too, the Daiwa Building is not a far walk from Hibiya Station.

Inspiring workshop
I loved this workshop, as it gave me an idea about how the washi paper is made. It‘s “only“ 1 hour but really well organized so that one learns briefly about the history and then goes through the making process oneself. Highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in this art. Thank you so much for this beautiful workshop!
