Un agréable moment en famille

Julien_S, Feb 2026
Easy access close to Tokyo tower by feet. Friendly and available teacher. The 4 of us (13yo to 43yo) enjoyed this moment.

Definitely recommend!

Response from Host, Dec 2025

Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re so glad you enjoyed your time and felt inspired to try different shapes. It’s great to hear you want to join more sessions—we’d be happy to welcome you back anytime!

great fun and intro!

Suchi_N, Oct 2025
really fun class intro to pottery. Jumpai (sp?) was an excellent instructor. know you won't have any finished pieces but at a cost and a few weeks time your pottery can be completed for you and shipped. currently not to USA though. learned a lot, fun evening spent. near the tokyo tower!

Mr. Hoshi an old world master

Michael_B, Sep 2025
Mr. Hoshi is an amazing pottery master, even though he is so modest. Very thorough and patient teaching brought the plate maker out of my wife and the cup maker out of me. We both layered the rice bowl as well. Unfortunately, due to uncertainty in tariffs and shipping, we were jot able to take our creations home. But we will return and do this again. The class size was small and you get a lot of help, attention, and praise from Mr.Hoshi. bravo!!!

Joyful Time

This was such a lovely experience. The young teacher was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He was serious about the art, yet happily laughed along with me. I thoroughly enjoyed this and am inspired to keep creating when J return to Australia. Thank you!

Very nice atmosphere and, unlike some workshops, you have a lot of freedom on what you want to make. The teachers let you do everything by yourself after a quick demonstration and help you out if you aks for some assistance.

Amazing for both new and experienced potters

Angela_D, Jan 2025
The instructor was very nice and personable. My friends and I had a blast with the class and I would definitely recommend it for both new and experienced potters.

Fun, creative, good vibes

Affordable, Best Vibes, Unique creations

Eleen_W, Oct 2024
Sensei was so patient and kind with a novice potter like me who’s only taken one class in Cali before. The vibes were truly immaculate in the space as what ended up being a private 1:1 session shaping clay, listening to mellow Ghibli-like instrumental music, and the cute pitter patter of raindrops on a late afternoon. He helped me create one of a kind souvenirs with such great pricing even with added glaze coloring, ems shipping, and the chill vibes. I will definitely recommend this experience to my friends and will return myself on my next Japan adventure 😊 10/10 Exceeded my expectations

Great!!!!

Great experience!

ventura_m, Aug 2024
Supercool! Very relaxing atmosphere and the instructor was super helpful and flowy. Certainly suitable for families with kids.

Great activity

Erwan_B, Jul 2024
A super fun activity to do in Tokyo. Ruth (who's American) was really nice and helped me make around 6 different pieces of pottery. Important thing to know, you are only paying for the pottery class. If you want to bring things back home, you have to pay the kiln and delivery fees. I would still recommend this workshop 100%.

Brilliant Experience

Annette_M, Jul 2024
It was a terrific experience and I learnt alot. Well worth doing if you are interested in pottery. The organisers are so helpful and speak very good English as well as Japanese.

Very relaxing

Liz_P, May 2024
This was a great, relaxing class. Kaia/Kya was really nice and helpful. They encourage you to have fun while still helping you create a one-of-a-kind piece. The shop and activity itself were so relaxing and a nice break from the hustle of the city. I would definitely go back again next time I’m in Japan!

A wonderful peaceful hour of pottery making. Excellent English (and Japanese) instruction. Highly recommend

Amazing pottery class

Valeria_E, Mar 2024
Amazing! Sensei was very helpful, giving tips and helping to fix the pieces. Small groups makes it easier to get all the help you need. I will not be able to do the finishing however they will do it for me for a small fee and ship it to my country! Definitely recommended ! 100/10

Amazing/fun

Yvonne_M, Feb 2024

Good Times!

Abbey_R, Feb 2024
We had a wonderful time! Stephen was a brilliant teacher, friendly and knowledgeable. He instructed us on how to throw and the process going forward. They are going to fire and ship our piece back to us!
