Delicious food experience in Osaka
Our family had a great evening led by Sara. A great variety of delicious foods and drinks. It’s too bad some of the food choices can’t be modified for people with allergies and sensitivities. We ate at many places we would not have been comfortable going alone, so having a guide was amazing.

Highly recommend, especially at the start of your Osaka trip
The Osaka walking tour with James as our guide was a huge success. My young adult sons were not originally keen to do formal tours in Japan, but they absolutely loved this several hour walk through the city. James was friendly, informative, and easy going. We now have a greater appreciation for Osaka as a result. We highly recommend this tour as a fabulous way to get acquainted with the history, customs, and food culture which is all interwoven. We were grateful we began our time in Osaka with this tour as it made the rest of our stay that much more enjoyable.

Great sight seeing trip
Though long road trip on bus but was worth it ! Fantastic view of sand bar beach and view Sea of Japan! Having great weather added plus to the trip .
Recommend charging plug point for bus , for visitors . The cell phone battery consumption is fast and there were no outlet to charge during trip

Walking Osaka
The experience was EXACTLY as described. You will walk a lot, see a lot, and learn a lot. If the description is something that sounds appealing to you, it will be.
Taka was great. Would recommend. I brought an umbrella to block the sun, would recommend.

Really great experience....
Really great experience. Andy was a fantastic guide, and the tour was well designed. We're not usually the type to do guided tours, but this was the right choice. We were able to sample so many more things than if we had just gone around ourselves, and it was a very fun evening.

Excellent Osaka tour!
We had an amazing day exploring Osaka with Caroline as our tour guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience both fun and seamless. Her passion for the city really came through, and she showed us places and details we never would have discovered on our own. Caroline was thoughtful, engaging, and made sure everyone had a great time throughout the day. We truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend her to anyone visiting Osaka!

Good introduction to Osaka
Your does not go into the Castle. Brian was a very good guide explained things clearly, very helpful with getting around Osaka by train. Great view points outside Castle and in the highrise. Guided tour to fish market which would have been very
difficult on our own.

Osaka Night Life Tour
Paul was AWESOME —he did such a great job. It ended up being one of the best tours I’ve done. We got to try all kinds of cocktails and food and really got a great taste of the nightlife. My nephew was with us, and Paul made sure everyone felt included, which I really appreciated. We had such a fun night. The only thing I wish is that I had gotten more of the group photos—but overall, highly recommend!!!

Great experience
Great experience, a lot of interesting and unique information about osaka and japan. You get to see some "touristy" areas but then also see some areas you absolutely would not on other tours. Dinner is at end for anyone booking the with dinner option and was delicious.

Very Heartfelt & Informative Tour
This was by far the most informative tour my Husband and I have been on yet. If you’re a person who appreciates history and cultural I would recommend booking this tour. Our tour guide Cesar was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Japan and you can tell he enjoys it. There was so much passion in his words we felt every lesson. The bus we drove on was so big and cozy. The bus driver Oe-San so very friendly and professional. My only recommendation would be to spend more time at Hiroshima and maybe add the castle on the trip. Other than that we have no complaints. If you’re looking for a great tour whose tour guide is patient, funny, knowledgeable and is accommodating to everyone’s walking limitations. Then book with Amigo tours and make sure you get Cesar as your guide.

Big Day Out - Great Overview if only in Osaka for a short time
Firstly, make sure you are ready for a big day - approx 14hrs. I found the communication from the operator excellent prior to our departure, where to meet and remember, they run on a tight time schedule and you cannot be late. Trains in Japan run exactly on-time, so there is no room for a minute or two being late. We were greeted by our guide at the meeting point who then accompanied us to the next station to our connection for the bullet train - what a great experience. At the end destination from the train, we were greeted by our guide for the day and stepped on our bus for an hour drive to the ferry to Miyajima, which we were advised to go to right side for the best view (along with everyone else !!) From the ferry we followed our guide, we made our way to the Itsukushima Shrine with many stops in-between and then left to wander around by ourselves for approx 1.5hrs to enjoy this amazing place and see Deer who were a bit persistent. A place we'd love to go back and spend some more time. Again, remember this tour is on a time limit and being late is not an option. Next stop was Hiroshima Peace Memorial; felt we were a little rushed but there is so much to see and absorb - the museum was so busy and crowded we probably didn't fully appreciate the whole experience and have put on the list for next time to spend more time. Overall, the tour was a great overview and would recommend if you have a short time in the area and trying to experience as much as you can. Tip: we were lucky there was only 15 on our tour and not sure whether we would of enjoyed if we had a full tour group, not against the guide, it is more keeping that many people together and hearing what is being said. Overall - enjoyable and recommend.

Great guide, great experience.
It was fast paced, but allowed us to see a lot. Saw several shrines, temples, Osaka Castle, and shopping/local areas. The Guide, Yama, explained everything we encountered and experienced very thoroughly. He spoke very good English and added a bit of humor that made it educational and fun!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Japan's second city, Osaka, is an exciting destination in its own right, and it provides a base for exploring beyond the city. Osaka day trips are often themed to suit a particular interest or niche activity, from food tours to exploring backstreets that you might not otherwise find. Tours beyond the city visit some of western Japan's most beautiful and iconic landmarks, including ancient temples and castles, traditional villages, and sites of spiritual significance. Whatever your reason for taking a day trip to or from Osaka, you'll find a suitable tour.
