Our favorite experience in Osaka!!
My partner and I booked this experience, and it was one of our favorite memories!! We loved the intimate setting, learning how to make takoyaki, and trying so many delicious sakis while being able to dial in on our specific preferences! Momo was so sweet and very knowledgeable about sake! It was very easy to talk to her, and we left feeling very confident about takoyaki! I highly recommend!! Don't think twice!

Sushi making experience- Osaka
I ended up being the only person at the sushi making class so it made it even more special! The two instructors couldn’t have been more helpful☺️ We got to have a great chat about sushi, and what life in Japan is really like.
I really enjoyed this experience and would definitely recommend to others!

It was a great experience...
It was a great experience for myself and my two teenage kids. Kazu was our guide through the experience and she was very sweet and kind, taught us all about the traditions of the tea ceremony, and the proper way to make and drink the matcha. Very enjoyable and not touristy feeling, a great way to experience true Japanese culture. I would absolutely do this again with someone new to Japan!

A Fun and Family‑Friendly Sushi Class
Our instructor, Lala, was incredibly sweet and a fantastic teacher. My family, including our two young children and even our five‑year‑old, was able to follow her step‑by‑step guidance and successfully make both a maki roll and some nigiri. The kids especially enjoyed the simple flavours of the nigiri, and it was lovely to see them so excited to eat what they’d made.
The only challenge was finding the location. Both Apple Maps and Google Maps directed us to a different spot on the same block, so we initially approached from the wrong street. Including a photo of the building exterior in the instructions would make it much easier for guests to find the right place.

An enthusiastic lesson and delicious fresh mochi
Runa, Mao, and Seina were full of energy and so wonderful to learn from! Within the span of an hour, we got a small lesson on the history of mochi, the making process with an incredibly fun hands-on experience, and tasting at the end with a choose your own flavor. I've never had fresh mochi before, and now I don't know if I can go back to the modern store-bought version. I've always wanted to learn how to make my own mochi and now I feel prepared to do it at home.

This was a really great...
This was a really great fully hands on experience hosted by an actual chef so even very capable home cooks will learn great tips and tricks during the session. Keigo spoke excellent English and he was very funny and entertaining. Highly recommend this experience. It was one of the best things we did in Japan!

Great home cooking experience!
We had a great time. My husband and 12 yo who don’t normally cook, thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The chefs were wonderful and very accommodating with my son’s food allergies so he didn’t have to miss out. Would highly recommend this experience, very intimate and fun! We certainly my left with our bellies full!

Amazing Matcha Making Time!
I had an amazing time at the Matcha-making class! I loved learning about the history of Matcha and how it’s made — the information was presented in such a fun and engaging way. The host did an excellent job using visuals and little quizzes to make the learning experience really enjoyable. After that, we got to try a mock Matcha-making process ourselves and then enjoy a cup of Matcha. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this authentic Matcha-making experience to anyone curious about Matcha or looking for a unique activity!

An essential Osaka experience
An essential family experience to learn about the culture of local Osaka people. Keiko-san was a wonderfully patient host, who guided us through the process of making Osaka-style okonomiyaki. I will definitely be trying to make it at home. She was very flexible with dietary requirements. Perhaps the most enjoyable part of the experience was meeting some other local Osaka people who were wanting to practice their English, while we fumbled in Japanese. I highly recommend this experience for any food lovers.

This was a fantastic...
This was a fantastic workshop! We had the chance to make three different types of ramen completely from scratch, including hand-making the noodles the traditional way. The best part was enjoying the delicious ramen we created at the end. The instructor was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the class. Highly recommended for anyone who loves cooking or Japanese cuisine!

A Fun and Delicious Cooking Experience in Osaka
We had a fantastic time at this street food cookery class in Osaka. It was great meeting another couple from Ireland, and we really enjoyed making noodles and vegetable tempura. The experience was fun, easy to follow, and surprisingly simple to recreate. We were also given written recipes and instructions to take home, which was a lovely touch. The food was delicious, and our facilitator was warm, helpful, and shared fascinating insights into Japanese food and culture. Highly recommend!

Highlight of Japan Family Trip
Food tour was great and the favorite tour of our stay in Japan. It definitely fulfilled the family's need for sushi, trying everything from fish cakes to sea urchin and pufferfish. Our guide was very friendly and patient with our 2 year old, who tried everything as well, and was amazing with pointing out all the unique things in the market to see if we wanted to try it.
This will be a highlight of our Japan trip!
