Sbu and Sue are great tour guides. They were both very professional and engaging throughout the tours. They delivered great history lessons/stories.
Sbu also recommended a great restaurant to us, in which we visited after the tour was over.

Mulan, our guide, met us at the port and we look trains to visit the temple, Osaka Castle and Dotonbori. She was a great guide and gave us lots of history behind the places we visited and she’s such a fan of Osaka and really made us feel good about the excursion.

Ibuki was wonderful and pleasant, easy to talk to. He was incredibly professional, courteous, kind and knowledgeable and he listened to us so well. His English is so good I had to ask if he has lived in England or the United States.
He walked at our pace, shared amazing local insights, and went above and beyond.
My husband and i can't recommend Ibuki highly enough. If you want a guide who is kind, thoughtful and truly cares about your experience, book a tour with / through Viator and request Ibuki as your guide. You won't regret it.

Fun and educational despite uncooperative weather. Our tour guide was extremely cool and we had so much fun with her tasting different foods and learning about the sites.

The tour company never picked us up at cruise dock, also never answered phone or text messages, on phone with Viator to get refund, long wait to get help

We are sorry about what happened that day. Your reservation didn't sync on our end, so the guide never got word to do the pickup, and that's also why nobody picked up your calls or texts before 9 AM, our office opens at 9. As soon as we came online we saw what had happened and got you sorted with the guide directly, and you were able to join the tour after meeting up at Osaka Castle.
Thank you for hanging in there with us through the wait. That's a rough way to spend your last day in Osaka, and we're sorry it happened on yours.

We had an amazing time walking around Osaka with our guide HARU. Full marks to her for curating the tour as per our choice and patiently explaining all the details. We’re able to reach all the destinations easily by train or walk. Had a particularly good time trying all the delicacies at the Kuromon fish market

Osaka was amazing! So much to see, taste and shop for! Our guide, Mulan, was so very gracious and kind and showed us everything. Her English was beautiful and which allowed us to learn much as we saw the different sights. Osaka is a vibrant, high energy city and Mulan was the perfect companion! Truly a highlight of our trip to Japan.

This is an incredible way to spend held a day learning about Osaka. I learnt so much about its history, culture and traditions. Sue was just wonderful. She knows so much, is so informative and also interested in hearing about you. The walk is at a good pace, covers lots of places and sights. I recommend this walking tour as a great introduction to the city

Great expérience with Ken our guide. Just 4 persons for this tour. So cool . The guide was from brazil but he know Osaka and her history very well. Eather japanese history.

Had a great walking tour with Gil, even if it rained a little, we were only in Osaka for the day and Gil helped us tick off the few "must see" spots of Osaka! He also took us to a few places we would have missed on our own and gokng in through the "non popular" enterances was great to see even more! We did find the meeting point a bit hard to find but once Gil called and explained they were in the subway the pin point made a lot more sense. Thanks for a great tour Gil

The tour provides very basic information about the points of interest. There was no arranged transportation provided for moving from one place to another. The tour group had to take a subway and transfer from one line to another and wait for trains to get from one place to another. It is a lot of wasted time considering the tour is only 4 hours. Then there was no much free time (5 min at some places and none at others) to stop and take pictures.

Our tour is designed as a walking tour, which means we explore the city on foot and use public transportation when needed.
This allows guests to experience the city the way locals do, but we understand it may feel time‑consuming if you were expecting arranged private transportation.

Had a great walking tour with Minori. We saw all the Osaka highlights like the glico running man in the dotonbori area and Osaka castle. Minori was very knowledgeable and made some great recommendations for food and other activities. Would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Osaka.

We had the most interesting and wonderful time on our Osaka Walking tour with Olivia. She was the sweetest, most accommodating and knowledgeable tour guide. Luckily, my friend and I were the only ones who had booked this tour and so it was our own private tour. The meeting point was easy to find via Google Maps near the station underground. She came well prepared with a book of photos and images to enhance our experience. It was a beautiful warm day and luckily she had brought a sun umbrella which she was kind enough to offer to me on the tour - thus making my tour more pleasant.
A visit to Osaka Castle was the highlight of the tour with its lush green grounds, beautiful architecture and rich history. All of the stops on this tour were main areas that you would want to visit as a tourist. This tour is a lot of walking and so be prepared. I would definitely recommend the tour as long as you have Olivia as your guide - she’s great and speaks English well. We felt like we were walking around with our friend.

Kobo was a great guide and full of useful information. He gave a good insight into Osaka. He was very down by the lack of clear instructions on the booking info. I struggled to find the meeting point which was in an underground shopping centre and the telephone number on the booking ws based in the Phillapines! Having said that the tour is well worth doing. I thought that we might see a brief tea ceremony but that was not the case

Regarding the phone number, please make sure you dial it correctly. As we are based in Japan, it is necessary to include the country code (+81) when calling.
As for the tea ceremony, it depends on the day. If the shop is open, the guide may be able to stop by and arrange a short tea ceremony. However, if it is closed, this may not be possible.

Very good tour with Victor. Enjoyed learning about Osaka Castle and visiting quintessential Osaka landmarks. We learned a lot about Osaka and its unique neighborhoods. The only issue was finding the meeting point. The instructors were not clear. We did connect with the guide eventually it it wasn’t clear where to meet. Other than that, the tour was great and Bicyor was friendly and informative. It’s a nice way to learn about Osaka.

Koba was very helpful in navigating the city. It is a huge city with so much to do. Koba made sure we got to see as many spots as possible. He also took us to public transportation which is always a good experience.
