Our tour guide Scarlett was awesome! She explained everything to us and added some funny jokes at the same time. She got us all where we needed to be and made sure we saw everything. She was also a great communicator starting the night before and throughout the trip. We saw all amazing things and highly recommend this tour and request Scarlett!

A great food experience
We enjoyed a great food tour with Kiko yesterday. He was very informative and helpful. We visited several lovely authentic Japanese eateries and enjoyed lots of delicious food. Kiko had a great sense of humour and we had lots of laughs with our group.

A genuinely great tour!
This was a fantastic food tour. The guide (Davin i think? I'm writing this days later) was amazing. So knowledgeable and interactive. Genuinely a great guy and kept everyone entertained and engaged. Food was great too. I've been on a variety of food tours, and I'd suggest this one over all the others.
Keep ip the great work!
It's a good area doe souvenir shopping too.

10/10 must-do if in Osaka
Tommy was the best! Super chill guy. Catered the tour towards the group’s vibe. Perfect mix of historical information / fun facts and natural conversation. Knowledgable on everything…. Had some really insightful conversations that made me reflect. Recommend this to anyone who wants a knowledgable, interesting, and social guide. Although the tour was only four hours, I feel connected to Osaka and its culture.

Perfect night time tour
Ellie was a great tour guide. We met in the heart of Osaka and got the perfect introduction to the city.
Ellie communicated her love for the city and took us to both the main attractions and the ‘hidden gems’.
A perfect hostess it was like being guided by a friend rather than a stranger and she had a great knowledge of the city and it’s culture.
A bonus were here suggestions of places to go to and eat - we followed her suggestion and had a great night at a jazz club!
10/10 for Ellie and the tour - recommended!!

Loved it!!!
Very well organized tour!
Our guide was James and he was absolutely brilliant.
We visited several important spots in the city and James provided a lot of interesting facts, both cultural and historical.
We checked out cool places, tried awesome food and learned a lot about Osaka.
The tour requires some stamina, we walked for about 6-7 hours, but it was totally worth it.

Wonderful experience!
This was a well organized tour with a knowledgeable and fun tour guide, Cruise, who spoke English and Chinese. Everyone in the tour was connected by either WhatsApp or Line, where Cruise provided information on each place we visited - links to places to see and eat in the area, and a map of the bus pick-up place. Most memorable about this trip: boat ride where you can feed seagulls and eagles and Amanohashidate. The chairlift takes you to the top to appreciate a panoramic view of the beautiful sandbar and pine forest. I just wished we were there more than the two hours time. Great tour!

Good times to be had
Such a fun and unique experience. We really did hit the backstreet of the Osaka night life, had delicious food and drinks all while learning the Osaka culture. Our guide Jessie was very knowledgeable and fun, gave us great tips and other places to check out and do in Osaka. There was never a dull moment and we always enjoyed ourselves and meet some amazing local people who were extremely kind to us as well. Love love love this experience!

First choice-best tour!
Taka was an exceptional guide, patient, knowledgeable, and very experienced! My group was deciding whether it was worth doing a guided tour on our last day in Osaka—one with Taka was absolutely worth it! The small group we were with had a balance from children to retired adults and Taka expertly managed the group, adjusting pace and timing at sites appropriately. This tour is 6+ miles with stairs to and from subways, so come prepared, if you are not a big walker or haven’t prepared for Japan this could be difficult. We had already seen some of the sites, but none of our other guides were as knowledgeable or made the experience as great as he did (not to say our other guides weren’t good) Taka just stood out as a fantastic guide. I cannot recommend this tour enough, whether it’s the start, middle, or end of your trip, absolutely worth it. After experiencing this tour, I would have payed significantly more for it.

Deep Backstreet Osaka Tours
My partner and I recently joined in on this tour through Osaka's backstreets and we had a great time! Knox was our guide and he was excellent - personable, entertaining and above all, informative - and very happy to answer all of our questions. We also really appreciated his efforts to not make light of some of the more sensitive/serious subjects we came across during the tour.
We were really amped to see some of the places along the tour's route that we never would have stumbled across otherwise and really appreciated the tips on other sights to see (or not see) and food spots to check out.
The tour is well worth it for anyone interested in seeing and learning more about Osaka outside of the typical stuff.

Our amazing tour guide!
Tet/Ted was an excellent tour guide. It was our first day in Japan and he gave a very warm welcome into the Japanese culture. Tet/Ted took many pictures for us that came out beautiful. He was extremely helpful and gave us plenty of recommendations of places to visit and things to do. He treated us like family and took great care of us. I highly recommend this tour with Tet/Ted as your guide. God bless Tet/Ted!

Excellent tour and tour guide
My husband and I very much enjoyed this tour with Haru our tour guide. He met us on time at our hotel and guided us to the four sites that we had pre-arranged with him to see. His knowledge of Japanese history and culture is excellent and he came prepared with additional visual guides to show us as he carefully explained the significance of each site. My husband and I would highly recommend this tour and Haru.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Japan's second city, Osaka, is an exciting destination in its own right, and it provides a base for exploring beyond the city. Osaka day trips are often themed to suit a particular interest or niche activity, from food tours to exploring backstreets that you might not otherwise find. Tours beyond the city visit some of western Japan's most beautiful and iconic landmarks, including ancient temples and castles, traditional villages, and sites of spiritual significance. Whatever your reason for taking a day trip to or from Osaka, you'll find a suitable tour.
