Dining Out Osaka Style

Pre contacted by tour guide Daniel to check everything is looking good, all set for sampling the best cuisine in Osaka. Tour begins with Daniel providing some background regarding the area and venues where we would eat. Everyone in group seems excited and brought voracious appetites to be appeased. The food was excellent and covered all types of local fair. Delicious chicken, takoyaki and best beef stew I have ever tasted, featured. Drinks were included at 3 venues and option to purchase at others. At conclusion we were full, fat and feasted. 😋😛😝 Well run event and very enjoyable evening that I am happy to recommend. Great value and opportunity to meet other travellers visiting Osaka.

A great way to spend our first night in Osaka! I went with my family (we're all adults), and we had a blast. Our guide Taka was extremely funny and good to be around. He showed us some tourist hubs in the area, but most of the tour focused on the smaller, hidden gems of the different areas and some of the nightlife. We got great recommendations and ideas for the rest of our trip. Would definitely recommend.

We had the pleasure of having Aki as our tour guide. Aki was super knowledgable and made our tour very enjoyable, she was also very helpful with taking photos whenever. Aki seemed to always have an answer for the questions that we had, and she also paid for me and my tours transportation back to the station out of her pocket post tour, and offered recommendations to other parts of Japan. Through and through a 5 star guide. Overall I would really recommend this trip to anyone looking to experience Nara.

We had a wonderful day exploring Kyoto with Yoshi. We were able to see so much in a single day and visit several of the city's most iconic sights. Yoshi was friendly, professional, and made the day easy and enjoyable. Having transportation arranged for us allowed us to make the most of our time, and we definitely would not have been able to cover as much ground on our own. Amazing tour with James...

Amazing tour with James today! He was so knowledgeable and fun and made every spot a history or language lesson in addition to giving us some delicious bites! The meeting point was a little confusing as there are about 20 tours that go from the same spot, but that was not James fault at all! He very calmly and politely gathered everyone and we had a great tour!

Amy is amazing!!

This was a fantastic experience! It started with lots of communication from Amy on where, when and how to get to where you need to be. She put a lot of effort into coordinating everything and making sure everyone got as great of experience as possible! Going to all the sights was super fun and we knew of all the right places to be. Nara park was by far the most favourite of mine. Just watch out for some of the naughty deer, they will get you, hahahaha!

One of the best things we did in Osaka

We were so surprised at how well-planned this trip was. Meals were preselected with options for people who avoid certain foods, seats were saved for us when we got there and we got to try a pretty wide variety of food special to the region. We really loved the part of town we went through, much different from the city area we’d been in. Our guide, Niko was a young Japanese/New Zealander so it was really helpful having someone truly fluent in both languages. He was really friendly and more than happy to take our pictures as well! Great tour, one of our favorite things we did in Osaka!

Wonderful guide

Our guide was wonderful. Showed us the train system - didn’t work as we still got lost but not her fault. Visited the shrines on our list and she was so informative and interestingly. It was a long tiring day but worth it and she stopped regularly for drinks and lunch. Particularly loved the wee cafe she stopped at in the afternoon for tea and cake. All costs included which was a surprise.
