- ALL Participants will need an International Driving Permit issued in the format of the 1949 Geneva Convention from a government authorized association to drive in Japan. • EXCEPT participants with licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF)
- Drivers' licenses issued by countries not covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not permitted to drive in Japan
- Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or for exceptional countries listed above that requires a Japanese translation, the physical domestic license + official translation) and physical passport
- Wear flat closed footwear, Do not wear no long flowy skirts or dress.
- Minimum age is 18 years
- **ATTENTION: If your group is more than 6 drivers, your group will split into 2 smaller groups with a guide leading each group.
- You MUST inform us if you have any level of hearing impairment or mobility impairment.

This was such a fun experience! The costumes were a hoot to wear, and we felt like celebrities as we drove through the streets: everyone wanted a picture! The guide, Sharon, explained the vehicle operation clearly, and we had no difficulty in following her lead. We drove the go-karts faster than I thought we would, which really added to the enjoyment. I would recommend this to any driver visiting Osaka.

This karting experience will be the highlight of your holiday. I was nervous at first but our guide explained everything thoroughly re hand signals and navigating the streets. After 5 mins in the kart, I felt like a pro! It was such a fun experience but the only downside was that it started raining as we were about to drive out however it was thrilling driving in the rain. I would 100% do this karting experience again and highly recommend it if you are in Japan. It was the best part of my trip.

Ray was so fun and often looked back at us to make sure we were there. He gave clear signals on how to move through Osaka and kept an upbeat style and made sure everyone had a chance to be upfront for photos. He also takes amazing photos during the ride.

This was one of the top highlights of our trip to Japan. We decided to do the kart experience in Osaka, thinking the streets would be less crowded and we were right. Upon arrival, they make you watch a video on rules and safety measures. Then you get to pick your costume from a wide variety. We had so much fun driving through the city. People would wave and take pictures. Our guide was very careful and always checking on us while driving. He took so many pictures of us!

The team were excellent, we arrived early and they said, no problem, we can go earlier ifvyou want. Sharon was our guide and we could not of asked for a better guide. We headed around the streets and Sharon was clear with her signals and advice as we progressed. Sharon took many photos alongbthe way which she shared with us at the end.

We had a fun night with our family—definitely upbeat and exciting. Driving through the city at nearly 50 mph with no traffic was a blast, and we got really lucky with green lights. Our guide took lots of photos along the way and made sure we all stayed together. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Great fun, great guide (Sharon). Very well organized, full hour driving the streets of Osaka. You are driving with all the regular (much larger) traffic on the main streets at speeds of up to 50 KPH, so be prepared for that. The guide takes lots of photos of you during the tour and then air-drops them to you afterwards which was a nice touch (no additional charge)

I did this experience with my sister and it was so amazing! We went in the morning and it was fun being able to go through areas we had seen walking by foot. Miyu, our guide, was able to explain to us what was in different areas as we were driving and we really got to put our foot down in some sections!! I would 1000% recommend doing this tour!

It was just so much fun. Seeing people look and take photos while you’re having so much fun. Our guide Vivian was great too. You go quite fast at times but it always felt safe, even when a van pulled into the gap between the kart in front of me.
If you book through a third party, it’s unlikely you’ll pay insurance which is an extra $1000 in cash, so just be aware.
They take lots of photos and these are available at the end, no extra charge.
Honestly, it was just so much fun and a great way to see Osaka.
