Taiga is a legendary tour guide. You're in for a good time if you get him. I'm sure they're all great though!
Absolutely loved this tour! Our guide, Taiga, was super friendly, answered all of our questions and we had such a fun time with him! He took us to 3 very different places: we got to make our own Takoyaki, did a sake tasting and finally went to a bar that we would have never found on our own. 5 stars all the way!
What a fantastic way to see the city! We booked this tour as a first night introductory experience and it was great in every way. We had a small group and soon became fast friends. Our guide was so wonderful and we learned so much! Good food and drinks!
This was a perfect introduction to Osaka for two jet lagged and slightly overwhelmed first nighters! Excellent value for money, with 3-4 venues, plenty of food and drinks and a very friendly knowledgable guide! We revisited most of the venues on subsequent nights. Highly recommended!

It's an excellent tour to find real local spots in the most popular area of Osaka, and I can really recommend it.
This was a great tour. Our guide, Kosuke, was very knowledgeable and helpful. We learned some interesting things about Osaka’s history and culture, such as the significance of the Glico sign, a visit to a small temple right near Dotonbori, and a bit of Japanese sports culture. Then there was good food and drinks aplenty. It was an absolute blast and highly recommended.
Hitomi was a great host and made sure everyone had fun and was comfortable.
All in all a fantastic experience.
Really enjoyed this bar crawl. Got to try lots of yummy Japanese foods (more than I expected actually) and a variety of sake, whiskeys and cocktails. Overall really great time. Make sure to come hungry as they really do feed you quite a bit! A highlight of mine was getting to make our own takoyaki!
If you're visiting Osaka and want to experience the vibrant nightlife like a local, you *have* to book the bar crawl with Tyga! I joined the tour in the Dotombori and Uranamba areas, and it was hands-down one of the best experiences of my trip.

From the very beginning, he made sure everyone felt welcome and at ease, introducing the group to some hidden gems we never would have found on our own. His passion for the city is contagious, and he gave us fascinating insights into Osaka's food, drinks, and traditions at every stop.
The bars Tyga chose were incredible—ranging from cozy, hole-in-the-wall spots to lively places brimming with energy. We tried delicious cocktails, sake, and even a few unique local drinks, all while soaking in the authentic atmosphere of Osaka's nightlife. Tyga also made sure to recommend the best snacks and small plates to pair with our drinks.
What really stood out was Tyga's ability to connect with people. He’s personable, funny, and genuinely loves sharing his city with others. He even taught us a few key Japanese phrases and cultural tips to enhance the rest of our trip.

Lala was an amazing host. She took us to some really incredibl spots, and as someone from Osaka, she had some great tips. She made us Takoyaki at this place you cook them table-side and she made them the best for us! She also inquired on what we were intrested in eating and ordered according to what we wanted to try. We tried all sorts of non-western snacks and food and just made our expirience so much wilder. We were a small party of 3, and she made us feel like long time friends. 10/10 Recomend.
Social and fun activity, you get the chance to learn about the osaka nightlife and try some cool food and drinks! Very good guide as well!
Our guide was great. This review is nothing about her. She was awesome. However, the places we went were very poor decisions.
$40 to book.
First we walked to some random shrine for literally 2 mins, took one picture. Then we went to an izakaya where we made our own octopus balls. we each got one piece of tempura and a couple octopus balls. It was not exciting to cook. The drink choices were also lame. Food was cheap and uninspiring. Also each person got some tapioca slimy ball thing, not fun or tasty. We stayed for 30mins. It was 2,000yen per person or about $12, which is fine since I had 3 drinks but still totally overpriced. I was expecting us to grill meat or eat meat or something fun.
Next we walked 20mins to a sake bar. Each table of 4 got 3 small carafes of sake and a tiny appetizer. We stayed about 30mins again. Sake was fine. I was getting buzzed now because I stopped at a store and bought my own drinks to enjoy while walking. The sake bar was another 2500 per person or $16.
Lastly we walked to a shopping mall place that had dozens of mini bars. It was a cool idea and a cool place. We went to a 'whiskey bar', which was not a whiskey bar at all. My wife got whiskey on the rocks and it was super watered down. They gave us shots and it was also watered down sugar water. I got one or two drinks. It was 2500yen per person again. Why? 2 drinks?? Makes no sense. After about 20mins, the guide had us pay and she left.
Me and my wife then left and saw all the other cool mini bars. It had the vibe of a brothel, lots of mini rooms with a bar and a bartender. Very odd place but a cool idea.
After all was said and done, it was $40 USD per ticket, then another 7000yen for the 3 locations.
So basically $100 per person USD. In america, that price is ok. In japan, thats EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. 6 drinks for $100??
Osaka is full of cool bars and restaurants and the places we went were just dumb.
I would not recommend this at all.
Had an absolute blast on this guided tour. Food was great and the locations we went too weren't super crowded with other tourists. Guide was a lot of fun and knowledgeable.
This was a very fun tour. Yuta was a great guide and took the group to lively locations. Highly recommend.
Naoko was a fantastic guide. Best place was the last bar, a whiskey bar with tons of interesting small bars to explore once the crawl has finished. Would highly recommend!
This tour was pretty average. Our guide, Taiga, was entertaining and showed us some neat spots around Dotombori, but we found the food and drinks to be overpriced. For example, at the last stop, some of the drinks were ¥3,000 each, which is what we expected to pay for the whole night… I would strongly recommend checking the prices before ordering anything, just to be safe.
Taiga was an amazing tour guide, he was super engaging and even offered extra recommendations following the tour. The Misono Building was definitely the highlight of the tour. I actually made friends with another attendee and ended up hanging out with them until 9am the following morning partying in Osaka. A great time.
This is one of the highlights of my Osaka trip! The bars we went to are izakayas that I won't be able to find on my own. Thank you to the guide, Naokosan! She's really kind and was like a friend to us. 🥰💯 I highly recommend booking this activity. It's fun!
Soma and Mikey were awesome guides and gave us a true local experience! We got to try many different foods and drinks and had a wonderful time laughing and chatting! We would definitely love to tour with him again the next time we visit and would recommend him to anyone looking to get a true taste of Osaka!
