The class is informative but not overwhelming. Even our 7 and 10 year olds learned and participated without fussing! Kudos to our young but knowledgeable teacher. We enjoyed the session and learned to appreciate and drink good macha the correct, ceremonial way.

I had an amazing time at the Matcha-making class! I loved learning about the history of Matcha and how it’s made — the information was presented in such a fun and engaging way. The host did an excellent job using visuals and little quizzes to make the learning experience really enjoyable. After that, we got to try a mock Matcha-making process ourselves and then enjoy a cup of Matcha. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this authentic Matcha-making experience to anyone curious about Matcha or looking for a unique activity!

10/10 can recommend! Fuko, our awesome matcha guide first told about the background of matcha in a very clear and good English. She used a quiz along which worked very well for me to memorize this event. The tea ceremony afterwards was very fun and tasty too. It is a Japanese tradition and in this tradition it is required to use the right hand for preparing the matcha. She allows using the left hand if you cannot do it with the right hand. Dont miss out on this awesome event!

The class was intimate and quite interesting. You learnt a little bit of history and then the correct process of making your own matcha. They also provided some Japanese matcha sweets to have with your tea. Our host Matty was great. He did a great job at making the whole experience fun and interactive. Would definitely recommend.

Fun and informative

I’ve spent so many years loving Matcha, but never knowing how to make it properly. I finally was able to learn the proper way of making Matcha thanks to this class. It was relatively easy to locate, although the building upon arrival needs more signage because you have to go through what seems to be an alleyway of multiple flights of stairs, where there are not clear signs to get to the location of the experience until you arrive. The guides are great and it was fun.
