What are people saying about Naples

We had a really good...
We had a really good Guide called Maria, she was very informative and tried to add a little humor where she could to what could otherwise have been quite a somber subject. I chose this particular set of tunnels as it was a reasonably short trip for those in my family who had to be 'persuaded' to join in and there might be aspects of it that appealed each of us, even if they didn't think that at the start! I loved hearing the history of the tunnels and that some of the people born down there are still around to tell their tales; my 20 yr old daughter really enjoyed the WWII aspects of it. I also really loved the old cars and bikes which have been dumped there, this part appealed to my car-mad 18 yr old son, particularly the part about the motorbikes having been modified illegally to go faster/make more noise etc. Hubby's knee replacement was not so keen on the 90 steps going down in, but you come out a different way so there aren't steps back up at the end, some parts are a little uneven underfoot but nothing too bad. It was also a nice, cool break from the heat of August. Something a little different that we haven't experienced before too, overall a nice afternoon!

A Day with Marianna
This tour provides mostly transportation on a very nice smaller 17 passenger bus.
We were picked up at the port and drove along the Almalfi coast and then to Serrento where we had 3 hours to shop in very cute and fun shops . Mariana walked us to a great restaurant that served all the local favorites and had a fabulous few. After lunch we went to Pompeii . I did not realize the your cost did not include the entrance fee to Pompeii, but Marianna was very helpful in getting the tickets. One of the other guests had arranged a guide fur Pompeii and we were able to join that group ! You NEED a guide in Pompeii!
It was a long warm day but enjoyable !
Marianna was great at communicating ahead of time where to meet her!

Sites Galore
Loved the opportunity to see the Amalfi Coast by land and by sea. I definitely recommend the optional boat tour. The tour of Pompeii was exceptional with a dedicated tour guide providing details on the conditions that led to the city being lost and rediscovered. We covered about 20% of the walkable area of the Lost City in our 2-hour tour. Tour leader Claudia was attentive and kind. Heads up that the bus traverses winding mountain roads en route to Amalfi. I don't typically get motion sickness but that ride was pushing me to the limit and I skipped the subsequent limoncello tasting as a result.

Wonderful experience!
Loved this experience! Aldo was an outstanding guide! He is so knowledgeable, funny and we had a blast!! Would highly recommend! Also make sure you come hungry because you get pretty big portions at all of the stops! Great to do on the first day of your trip since then you will know all of the best places to eat!! Cannot recommend this tour more highly 10/10!!!

An great way to get a start finding your way around Napoli
Our guide Lorenzo Leva gave us the most detailed history on Naples and took his time explaining even the most minute aspects letting us take our time to look at the areas we visited. Especially loved the oldest cafe Gran Caffe Gambrinus with beautiful interiors & huge variety of pastries & great coffee. Not only that but Lorenzo also gave us good advice on such things as buying train tickets - you can get them at Tabachi outlets! Lots of walking involved so be prepared if you continue to explore after the tour - you must go & catch the funicular up to Castel Sant’Elmo for the best view of all of Naples!

Capri Perfection
This was above and beyond our expectations! Boat Captain Fabio (and his gorgeous boat) and tour guide Antonella made this tour amazing! We were spoiled, pampered, and made to feel like royalty. This Worldtours excursion (turned private boat tour) was perfection.

Cesare is a phenomenal host!
This was an amazing experience. We recommend getting the Pompei tickets first. You will need many more hours to spend there if you want to do the whole 170 acre site. Herculaneum is a smaller side in much easier to navigate. Mt. Vesuvius is a bit of a dusty and tasking climb in the heat with the steepness and it’s a pretty long distance but well worth it. There were quite a few insects near the top. Wear comfortable hiking shoes you do not mind getting dirty: Our Cesare was very accommodating with whatever we wanted to do, including stopping for lunch at a pizza restaurant and waiting for us in extending time when we needed it.

Fun activity for the whole family - grandparents and tweens
This was a fun family activity in a working pizzeria. The instructor was informative and nice. You make an individual size portion of tiramisu and get to make dough while learning about the process. Since you don’t have the time to let the dough rise, you let that go and they give you a new dough to stretch and they cook your pizza in front of you. The staff was friendly and generous. It was a good hands on activity for everyone and a great way to meet fellow travelers. We were pleasantly surprised. If you have some free time and are looking for a fun activity we’d definitely recommend giving this a try.

History, Wine & Incredible Views
Absolutely worth booking! The Pompeii tour was fascinating and incredibly well organized. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the ancient city to life in a way that made the history feel real instead of overwhelming. After exploring the ruins, the winery experience was the perfect balance of relaxation and scenery. The lunch was delicious, the wine tasting was generous, and the views near Mount Vesuvius were stunning. It was such a great mix of culture, history, food, and wine all in one day. Long day, but completely worth it and one of the highlights of our Italy trip.

Wonderful Napoli & Pompeii experiences
Our trip to and from Pompeii with Tony, our driver, was wonderful. He is very personable, and he really helped us understand some things about Napoli and Italian that will make our stay much easier. His enthusiasm about the city is catching!
Paolo, our private guide, brought us in through a different gate than we'd entered before. He, too, was charming and full of knowledge. He was able to answer every question. He added tidbits about words in English that come from Roman processes that we had never noticed! His explanation of the life in Pompeii brought that city to life.
We could not have had two better guides! I highly recommend this tour where we were able to interact one-on-one with both our leaders.

We had a very nice time...
We had a very nice time on our tour thanks to Aldo, who was incredibly approachable and interactive throughout the entire experience. He went out of his way to ensure everyone was enjoying themselves and used his impressive multilingual skills to make every guest on board feel welcome. It was a fantastic experience, and we truly appreciated his dedicated and inclusive approach!

The friendly story teller.
Amazing and unique experience. Napoli Sotterranea is a must-see if you want to truly understand the hidden history of Naples. The guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and engaging, explaining centuries of history in a clear and fascinating way. Walking through the narrow tunnels and ancient cavities is both exciting and atmospheric. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for cooler temperatures underground. Highly recommended for curious travellers who want something different from the usual tourist attractions.
