Fabulous Trip to a Stunning Island!

We had a fabulous trip to Capri with our guide Tiziana who was instrumental in getting us round all on our list and more, adapting the day to give us the shortest possible wait times everywhere, and maximising our time on this beautiful island. We started with the ferry ride, Tiziana gave us clear instructions about getting off the ferry quickly and where to head once off where she met us with a mini bus which seemed to appear from nowhere and we made our way to Anacapri and the chairlifts, no queue and straight on. Chairlifts were so peaceful, listening to the birds chirping and the goats on the hillside with incredible views to Vesuvius and stunning 360 panoramic views at the top of the highest point of Capri Some free time in pretty Anacapri, and a chance to grab lunch before making our way to do the Blue Grotto Cavern relatively quickly which was an experience and funny to watch while waiting for our turn, Tiziana also took photos of us in the boat and sent them to us via WhatsApp which was very kind of her. After the Blue Grotto we headed to Marina Grande where Tiziana offered us the chance to go on a boat for an extra cost which we absolutely loved going around the island to see the caves and incredibly blue waters around the island as well as the Faraglioni sea stacks and the statue of Gennarino Scugnizzo perched on the rock where the boats come in. We then had some free time in Marina Grande for a gelato and a drink before heading back on the ferry armed with fabulous memories and stunning photos! We got the impression that Tiziana genuinely loves her job, is passionate about the places she brings you to and genuinely loves people as she took the time to chat with everyone. Thank you Tiziana for an incredible day!

An unforgettable day out

From the start, to a very tired but happy finish, this was a fantastic experience. We started off in Pompeii with a local guide Ines, who was brilliant. She explained everything in great detail, was very amusing and found us lots of shade to walk and stand in. We then went on to lunch at a gorgeous restaurant with the most amazing views about halfway up to Vesuvius and the food was delicious. We then continued up to Mount Vesuvius. The coach takes you about 85% of the way up and you have to walk the remaining 15%. Be warned it is a very steep walk but totally worth it if you can make it. But whichever vantage point you make it to you get fantastic views. We had just got to the top when a thunderstorm hit. It was very refreshing after a hot climb! There are 3 vantage points which sell drinks, souvenirs, etc. Francisco was our guide for the day and was informative and funny. He was very organised, made sure we stuck to time and made himself known/visible everywhere. Mauritzio was our driver and he was brilliant - however he got round some of those bends is still a mystery! Great day and highly recommend.

I loved this tour on the very beginning the location where we were to meet was easy to get to by Metro. It was right on time. Our guide Titti was fantastic. She explained things very well in both English and Italian and she was very clear about the times. We should meet back at the bus our driver.Fabio was very good even on those very windy roads, I totally felt safe. You were given an adequate amount of time in each location. I really loved the boat excursion, our guide Titti was chosen to give us explanations about the area and about famous people that built up on the cliff’s. I wished I’d had enough time to do it again. Lovely day along Amalfi coast

Fantastic day with Pepe as our guide and Pedro as our driver. Pepe is so engertic and humorous, shared a lot of local knowledge and where to get the best views, best sorbert and lunch. He managed to organize the boat trip which was enjoyable and one of the highlights. During the coach ride he played different Italian songs which made the ride interesting! Definitely a good day along Amalfi coast! For souvenirs, buy it at first stop at Sorrento! Amalfi is 40%+ expensive for everything.

Very reasonable and Well worth it

Our tour guide Angela contacted us the day before. The meeting point was easy to get to and the day was structured really well with plenty of breaks. The guide throughout pompei was excellent and witty, and at Vesuvius we were given plenty of time to get to the top and enjoy the view (needed with the heat). I would recommend bringing runners as sandles were annoying to walk in with the terrain

WorldTours and Eugenio Saved Our Day and Exceeded Our Expectations

My daughter and I had originally booked a Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello tour with another company that unexpectedly canceled at 6:00 a.m. due to low participation. Since we were only in Italy for a short time, we found ourselves scrambling at the last minute to find another tour. Thankfully, we came across WorldTours and booked their Amalfi Coast & Pompeii tour departing at 8:00 a.m. Even though we booked at the last minute, everything was handled professionally and seamlessly. Our driver and tour guide, Eugenio, arrived right on time and picked us up directly from our hotel. The convenience of hotel pickup and drop-off was a huge plus. One thing I especially appreciated was that our group was small, which made the experience feel more personal and enjoyable. Eugenio was friendly, personable, and extremely knowledgeable about the area. He shared interesting information throughout the drive and kept everyone entertained, which made the longer stretches of travel fly by. He even included a photo stop along the way, which added to the experience and gave us some wonderful memories. We purchased a package that included lunch, and my only suggestion for future travelers is to let your driver know in advance if lunch is included in your booking. Since we booked so close to departure, there was almost a mixup because not everyone on the tour had the same package. Thankfully, everything worked out. In addition to the included tour and lunch, we added the optional Amalfi Coast boat tour. I highly recommend it. It added another layer to an already memorable day and gave us beautiful views of the coastline. I also want to recognize our Pompeii guide, whose name I unfortunately cannot remember. She was fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable, and made the history come alive. Her enthusiasm and expertise added so much to our visit. A quick tip for anyone considering this tour: dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. The Pompeii tour lasts about two hours, and there is quite a bit of walking on uneven surfaces. The guides did not rush us and made sure we received the full experience. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our trip. WorldTours turned what could have been a very disappointing day into an unforgettable one. Eugenio and our Pompeii guide made the experience even more special. If you're looking for a tour company in the area, I highly recommend World Tours. They offer several excellent options, and if you happen to get Eugenio as your driver, tell him the ladies from Atlanta, Georgia said hello and thank you again! Nice Tour in One Day

It was a long tour of three beautiful and interesting places. The tour of Pompeii requires good strong footwear as there is a lot of walking on uneven stones and steps. The ride through the Amalfi coast was breathtaking. The stop in Positano could have been longer. We ate at a lovely restaurant in Sorrento recommended by our wonderful tour guide Ciro. The food was delicious!

Great company who adjusted easily to a last minute port change

Loved this small group tour to visit the Amalfi coast! Our port was changed from Salerno to Naples the day before we arrived. The company quickly made the change in pick up location for us. Communication was great, texting us the change and even a photo of where to meet our driver. We enjoyed free time at our three stops, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. We stopped at a road side lemonade stand, had great photos. Our driver had us back to the ship in plenty of time. Appreciate the small group experience versus that of the large tour buses that you get from the cruise line.
