This was a great way to...

This was a great way to see the amalfi coast and Pompei in a single day. Although it felt somewhat rushed because of the travel time, they did the best they could to ensure we saw as much as possible. Our tour guide Maria was great during the drive, and the pompei tour guide was amazing, too. Would definitely recommend bringing Dramamine if you get motion sickness. I didn’t realize how rough the drive would be and ended up getting sick; I would’ve taken some had I known, but they were very compassionate when that happened.

We had an amazing day,...

We had an amazing day, thanks largely to Salvatore, who was an outstanding guide and driver! He truly went above and beyond to make sure our experience was special from beginning to end. We had originally booked a Pompeii tour that included a licensed guide, but upon arrival were told that because our group did not have at least eight people, we would only receive an audio tour instead. Thankfully, Salvatore stepped in immediately to make things right and was able to arrange a licensed guide for us. We were very fortunate that Caroline was available — she was knowledgeable, engaging, and absolutely wonderful throughout the Pompeii visit. Our beautiful day also included time in Positano with breathtaking views, followed by time to explore lovely Sorrento. Limoncello is now my favorite drink! The entire experience felt relaxed, scenic, and memorable. One recommendation for future travelers: it may be helpful to verify the tour details with Viator ahead of time to ensure everything included in the booking is confirmed. The local guides themselves clearly care deeply about the area and genuinely want visitors to have the best possible experience. We are giving this tour 5 stars because Salvatore truly saved the day and turned what could have been a disappointment into one of the highlights of our trip.

Amalfi Coast out of Salerno

We were met at the ship by Vincenzo, our guide. We rode in a Mercedes 20 passenger van, comfortable with AC. We stopped at Sorento, Positano and Pompeii. Take loose change for public bathrooms or buy a coffee and get free access. It is difficult to get the full experience in such a short time. The largest amount of time was spent in Pompeii, still not enough. Che so was very knowledgeable and gave us an abbreviated tour of the highlights, yet I felt that I got my money’s worth. The headsets helps as so many people and other groups were around us. Listen and take pictures. If I could I would spend a whole day in Pompeii.

Luca was very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure everyone was accounted for. He explained things well and very easy to understand. He also was very helpful making recommendations when asked. The only complaint I had was we could not be dropped off at the pick up location because the streets were closed because the pope was in town. We were dropped off at the metro station and had no clue where to go. I would have thought they would have made sure we knew what train or metro to take

Very friendly guide, a nice day

Very nice experience with our guide Younis and our driver Giuseppe. They were very friendly and helpful! The places we saw didn’t attract us very much and the roads are very curvy, so it can make some people stomach sick. But overall it was a nice experience for us.

Daniella (Dani) was a great guide. Very sweet and personable. She was very experienced with Napoli and the culture. She was also very funny. The pizza stop was okay. Fried pizza stuffed with cheese and tomato and a margarita pizza. A waiter came around for drinks. All of us in the party ordered drinks to find out it was not included, so be aware. Not a huge deal, but it felt a little scammy. Overall a fun experience.

Well worth it Capri in one day

Very well planned day. Starting at Naples on fast ferry straight to Capri. Blue Grotto is hit or miss due to tides and sea calmness but we were lucky and got to experience it. Long wait but worth it! Next to Ana Capri for lunch and finished with a boat trip back to Island. Long day busy but worth it. (The boat trip 25 euros extra and optional) Theresa our guide was helpful and friendly. Highly recommend

You could make your own...

You could make your own arrangements to visit Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius, but this tour makes it completely unnecessary. They pick you up, drop you off and manage everything in between. You don't have to do anything besides show up and enjoy yourself. And I do not think you would have the same experience in Pompeii, particularly, without a tour guide--there is just so much to see and learn about. If you were there on your own, you'd probably just be wondering around aimlessly--it's pretty big! Lunch was also very good--homemade food you could smell from the parking lot.

Could not have been better!

Our tour guide, Alfonso was wonderful. We loved him! He was so knowledgeable about the towns we were going to and gave us time in each town to explore on our own. He set up a fabulous lunch for us in Ravello which we would've otherwise never known about or gone to. It was a wonderful day.

Overall a great experience, not to be missed!!

We had a brilliant experience with Napoli City Vision, we purchased: SORRENTO, POSITANO, AMALFI and RAVELLO tour from Naples - Group Tour. Our guide Pepe was friendly, knowledgable and fun. Angelo the driver was professional and showed impressive skill navigating the narrow roads of the Amalfi coast. I would highly recommend this tour and make sure to include Ravello as it was the hidden gem on the tour! All stops had incredible views and we had free time at most stops to explore by ourselves (although this tour isn't 100% guided, the guide does show you some highlights at each stop). The drive along the Amalfi coast was beautiful and an experience in itself! The minibus we had was comfortable, seated 12 guests and had the much needed air-conditioning. The only other recommendation I would have is to use the bathroom before you leave and go at every opportunity on the way, as there is long periods of travel between stops. Overall a great experience, not to be missed!!
