Had a great experience with this tour! Our driver, Ectore, was fantastic, and very kind. He was prompt, on time, and made sure that we got in and out of the ruins safely.
I only wish we had a bit more time to see all of Pompeii, but for a quick look around, it’s fine. It’s also great if you’re pressed for time, and it also included an audio tour which was helpful.

This visit does not offer enough time to see all there is to see in Pompei but covers the major, must see spots. Knowledgeable and friendly staff and guides.

Alessandro was very good. He told very interesting historical facts and made us laugh on our bus ride. He was also very kind and helpful. Our other tour guide Claudio was excellent and very knowledgeable and funny as well. After our tour Greta took over our trip back to Naples. She was very nice and helpful as well. I would highly recommend this tour

It’s too short…you do not get a chance to spend much time in any one place. In hindsight, I would have taken a cab, too and from, spent more time exploring the area. Guides were fine. You can grab an audio tour on your own, and there are sufficient self guiding tools.

Our guide gave good information and details of the history. She spoke clearly and gave us time to look at the details of the amazing historical place.
The bus ride went well. We asked for directions on the pickup location and received a response on the closest to the cruise terminal. We were able to get dropped off at a spot in Naples for exploring the town before departure to the boat. It was an easy walk back.

Pompeii was very interesting but our guide in Pompeii has very poor English. Our guide outside, Matina, who takes you to our bus, was terrible. She started walking to the bus with approx 16 of us. Streets very crowded, no flag to tell us where she was. She finally stopped after about 15 min to discover she had 2 out of the 16 people with her. We eventually found her and then she lost 4 more people. Unreal👎

Pompeii is absolutely stunning. The guide on site was very good. Just consider that 2 hours is very little time to get to know the place, it covers the basics and you feel a little bit in a rush. Since we went with kids and a grandma it was ok. If I ever come back on my own, I will go by myself.

The Pompeii ruins are fantastic. Unfortunately the tour operator we used wasn't. Napoli city vision were ordinary. They were late picking us up and the meeting point at the Port could have been a little clearer. We specified an English tour and we ended up on a combined English and dianush tour. That meant that the guide would spend time explain each area in both languages. It was awful having to stabd in the heat and listen to a language we didn't understand. It would have been exactly the same for the Spanish people. The guide at the start of the tour did say they were short a guide due to one being on vacation. Well if that's the case then email one if the groups to say sorry but we have to cancel your tour. There would have been enough time to organise another tour. Also, the entrance fee was collected at the beginning and we never received our change. In fact, we listcdught if our guide at the end as she didn't hold her umbrella up and we lost her. That meant some extra walking and stress that we might miss the bus. A real shame as the ruins are amazing. Fir us, the your was not well organised at all. Oh and the bus a/c was not working and it was a sweat box.

This tour was unorganized but worse it was not needed. We paid about $150 for a bus ride and the tour was not even included unbeknownst to us - we had to pay another $19 euro each for a tour that was difficult to hear and took twice as long as it should have given the back and forth format between English and Spanish. Why not do two tours? Also the earpieces were of such poor quality that several people just gave up. Do yourself a favor and get there yourself and then buy the audio guide there.

Excelent! The guys who were waiting for us were attentive and kind. They explained clearly how the tour would happen and everything that was included. But, the best part was the tour guide, a lady. She is amazing, very knowledgeable and attentive. The way she tells the story of Pompeii was so captivating that I would stay all day listening to her talk. Amazing!

Didn’t get there!
Tour company changed time by 30 minutes earlier let us us know at 10:30 pm previous day but due to no signal on cruise ship didn’t get the message. As yet no refund given or explanation why they changed time of the tour. Wasted over£250 . Feeling very sad about this situation. Be aware!

Pompeii needs more than 2hours. For 2 hour our Pompeii guide Iliana covered all the important spots and gave us as much information as was possible in the limited time. If you are interested in detailed history of pompeii you need more time.
Tour Guide Serena was fun she took care of us very well. Had a flight to catch around 1 in the afternoon so she made sure our travel was arranged in time.

We had to walk FAR from our ship in very confusing terrain; pickup location was “iffy” and confusing. Trip to Pompeii was fine and comfortable; we were told they’d accept credit cards for our tickets, but they would not. Faced with getting money exchanged because the would accept anything but Euros. Guide was good but so many people in the group that we couldn’t hear much of what was said. Trip home was good but they wouldn’t take us within even half a mile from our ship. We were totally exhausted as we are in our 70’s. Overall I would probably give it a 3...

I really enjoyed this tour but when the travel time is double the tour time and not that far away, I would not recommend this option. I chose it for the convenience of being driven between Naples and Pompeii but the tour was 2 hours and travel time 4.5 hours, going through multiple rounds of collecting and depositing customers from various locations. To top it off, I had allowed 1.5 hour before my next tour thinking that was plenty but we got back 1.5 past the scheduled finish time. I saw the driver pass the turn for our hotel and take a long circuitous route to drop off other customers. Then he directed us to get out a block and a half from our hotel making us even later. Time is one of the most precious things you have on vacation - take the Campania Express on your own - only 30 minutes!

The guild was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She really brought the ruins of Pompeii to life!! The drive who picked my up from my hotel was also polite and was more then happy to point out the best places in Naples to me. 100 recommend if you want to take a short tour of this wonderful place.

Al contratar el tour buscábamos un trato en español, y así se comprometían a que fuesen las explicaciones . Aunque no nos importó que la guia se expresase también en inglés, se dirigió a los españoles de forma muy descompensada e insuficiente, en nuestra opinión, para nosotros. Sin embargo la guía de Pompeya del grupo hispanoparlante, un diez.

VIGILAD, aunque el enunciado parezca que diga que está todo el viaje incluido, cuando subes al autocar te salta la sorpresa, la entrada NO ESTÁ INCLUIDA. Y no me pasó a mí solo sinó a todas las personas que íbamos en el autobús. Todas creyendo que estaba todo incluido, cuando vas a ver lo que realmente entra ahí sí lo pone, pero repito el enunciado da pie a ese error y de eso de aprovechan.

su opinión no es veraz ya que en el momento de la reserva en el portal puede notar bien todas las inclusiones y exclusiones y si hubiera ido a leer en detalle se habría dado cuenta de que las entradas están excluidas de hecho le diré más hay alternativas De hecho, usted podría haber reservado el tour con las entradas incluidas pagando un suplemento.
