Nino was an absolute amazing guide. He picked us up on time. He was in contact via WhatsApp prior to departure and sent a video of his location ahead of time. We travelled on a private tour to Pompeii with 4 of us. Car was mid size for the 4 if us. Would recommend him to anyone

Quite a nice day. Nino was a good guide. Very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. So fortunate that he encouraged us to start early to avoid the holiday crowds. The sites were magnificent and many made you appreciate the unfortunate condition that fell upon these poor souls. A number of the structures were in very good shape, a testament to the engineering of the period.

      Excellent Private Tour of Pompeii

      Communication prior to the tour was excellent and accurate. Carmen picked us up just outside the cruise terminal, and we walked a short distance to her car before heading to Pompeii. Carmen lives in Pompeii and studied archeology in Naples. As a student, she actually worked on a dig in Pompeii! What a fantastic opportunity we had to walk through Pompeii with a true professional! Carmen maneuvered through the city traffic (which was considerable) and dropped us off in the city center (at our request) so that we could enjoy a pizza and a short walk to the cruise terminal.

      We booked a private Pompeii tour for the 3 of us. . Our guide, Nino, was so professional + had a wealth of knowledge about the site. Because we were a small group, all the tickets were already printed out + we skipped all the crazy lines. This tour was wonderful + intimate. I would give this tour 5 stars!!

      The tour was really convenient and hassle free. Nino was a really good guide! He is well versed with the history of Pompeii and the surrounding area of Naples. He is very friendly and was able to give us a lot of context to understand the history of the place. The pace of the tour was good. He was very clear in terms of communication, both before the tour and during the tour. He even gave us some recommendations on places to visit after the tour. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking to experience Pompeii.

      Nino was an excellent guide. He took us around Pompeii showing us the important sites including the House of the Vettii, House of the Faun, the forum, the bakery, the theatre, the gymnasium and small museum and the amphitheatre plus other areas of interest. He spoke English well and even walked back to car to bring it to us after we finished (so we didn't have to walk all the way back). Nice tour and would highly recommend. Thanks Nino!

      We wanted to let you know we were involved in an accident yesterday. We were rear ended on the road. We stopped for several minutes. The driver did not seem to be concerned. The tour was great but we had a hard time understanding his English. Thank you

      "We wanted to let you know..." Funny!! I know very well what happened, I was with you ))) Ungenerous, untruthful, and disrespectful review towards me. My car was hit by another car, so I am not to blame. I was not worried because nothing serious happened, the car was not damaged, it was a light collision. We were stopped for few seconds, just enough time to check that there was no damage; why write several minutes? Why should I be worried? And what do you mean that the tour was great but you did not understand my English? Maybe because you were only interested in taking pictures and writing on your smartphone? It does not seem to me that you were interested in Roman history....I tried to explain in detail the history of Pompeii, but your eyes (especially Martin and Tiffany) were elsewhere....It is more correct to say, as you told me at meeing point, that Pompeii was just "a brand" for you, you did not even know that Pompeii was an archaeological site. historical tours are probably not for you.       Wonderful tour with Nino!

      We had a great tour with Nino! Nino picked us up from the cruise port which was really helpful! He took us to the major sites of Pompeii at a comfortable pace. He is very knowledgable about the history of Pompeii and Naples. We were captivated by his story telling. Afterwards, he took us back to Naples and arranged for us to have pizzas at a famous pizzeria in Naples, the birthplace of pizza! We have a wonderful visit with Nino!

      Personal tour with just 4 of us so we weren’t dealing with lots of people. We could ask questions, spend more time on some areas and our guide was extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
