Excellent tour of Capri Highlighting the Blu Grotto, the Chairlift and an optional boat ride around the other grottos. Tiziana was amazing. Gave recommendations for where to eat, shop, even helped one of our co tour mates when they weren’t feeling well. She pointed out shopping in less expensive areas. Truly best tour I have had in the 3 tours to Capri I have attended.

This was best trip I had while in Italy ( did 4 Viator tours over three cities) loved the island. Our guide Alberto, was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, always fun, great personality, very helpful, and sings! We did chair lift, blue grotto, and boat ride around the island. Loved the small group experience. Kudoes to Alberto for really making this trip a delight!

This tour was the highlight of my Italy trip. Capri and Anacapri were stunning, but our guide Michele made it truly special. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate—bringing the island’s history and charm to life. The boat tour around Capri was the perfect ending, with incredible views and crystal-clear water. Everything was well-organized and relaxed. Highly recommend—especially if you get Michele as your guide!

Loved it!

Erica_B, Sep 2026
It was a wonderful experience. Michele our guide was knowledgeable and very funny. All of his recommendations were spot on. The chair lift at the top was a highlight and well worth it the price.

Ana capri, capri, blue grotto.

JeanO, Sep 2026
We had Michele as a tour guide and he was exceptional. He was able to get us up to capri and anacapri before the crowds. He was informative and gracious. Would definitely recommend this tour. The blue grotto was closed due to high tides, but they took us one great tour around the island with areas of interest explained.

Great Experience

Well done tour with plenty of time to explore eat, see the different areas and experience it all. Highly recommend. Glad the weather held out to go into the grotto. Some great pics and video

After meeting our guide...

Darren_K, Sep 2026
After meeting our guide who was good and helpful, we entered a crowded vessel to get to capri. Upon arriving in capri we waited and waited for a bus, to take us to the grotto. We kept changing buses and waiting waiting in the heat of the day for a bus. We paid an exorbitant fee to see the grotto and majority of the time was standing around in the heat waiting waiting. We were told the guys in the grotto expected a tip, our tour guide would also require a tip to get to the front of the chairlift line. It seemed a total money grab on all aspects of the tour. We paid a lot a lot of money, nearly a weeks worth of wages and still you wanted to suck us dry. The grotto was amazing although the length of the wait for the buses was ridiculous, we got into the grotto quite quickly. The trip back across the water getting into that boat, people were pushing and acting like animals to get on board absolutely disgusting. It was a short 10 minutes in the grotto for all the garbage we had to deal with.

The tour was altered as the blue gratto was not open. Overall the tour was goid and Taziana was very good at explaining everything.

Made my first solo trip the best ever!

Janie_L, Aug 2026
Tiziana really made my first solo trip in Italy so special! Because of her impeccable timing we were able to see everything from anacapri, the blue grotto, capri beach and an added bonus, a boat ride around the capri island! I wish I can give her 100 stars out of 5!

Long day and needs a better guide!

Kim_M, Aug 2026
It is a very long day and the guide Georgio is condescending and is disrespectful. He needs to be clear on the timing of all the plans and be very specific on plans for the day. He called the two Asian girls, “the Japanese Girls” instead of using their names. Questions were not welcomed and said that he already told us that and you must have not been listening.

A Lifetime of Memories from Capri

David_M, Aug 2026
If you're thinking about going on your own and trying to navigate Capri... DON'T. Michele did an amazing job of navigating the bustle on the island and ensuring we were able to take advantage of everything offered. It was a lot for one day but we checked off items that many other would need 2 days to accomplish. The Blue Grotto is an unforgettable experience and the views from around the island cannot be found anywhere else. Thank you to Michele for an amazing day.

questionable Blue grotto

stuart_g, Aug 2026
Blue Grotto experience is iffy because they shut it down often. we stood in a hot line (no shade) for 1 1/2 hours, and were one of the last groups to see the Grotto before they shut it down for whatever reason. boat tours seem to have priority not our excursion which was via a tour bus. but we were thrilled to see the grotto.

Amazing experience!

jack_r, Jul 2026
We had an amazing experience! What you should know: Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. You will need to lay on the floor of the row boat to enter the blue grotto. The entrance is approximately 1 meter high. You may get a little wet. Expect to walk up and down steps and cobble stone streets. Tiziana was an amazing guide. She kept us well informed and kept us on time. She gave us options during our free time and suggestions. Some shopped, others went swimming or rode up the cable cars. We sat at a cafe! At every step she gave very clear directions and made sure we were always accounted for. I absolutely recommend it!

Absolutely Amazing Tour & Guide

Chris_C, Jul 2026
OMG! This was the highlight of our trip to Italy! I just can say enough about the guide, the island and just the entire experience. Capri is one of the most beautiful places and this tour let you see it all. Our guide, Tiziana, was hands down the amazing and one of the best I have ever had. She was so accommodating to our entire group and made sure we experienced it all. We were on a cruise ship and didn’t have quite as much time as the tour needed but she got us on the boat tour ahead of time and back on the ferry ahead of time. There were several cruise ships all leaving and different times and she made sure we all had the wonderful amazing experience we paid for and didn’t miss out on a thing. We loved the cable car and again the island is just breath taking and magically. I would highly recommend this tour and the company. It was definitely the highlight of our Italy stops.

Alberto did a wonderful job planning so we did not wait in line for very long. He had great recommendations and information about the island. It was a perfect day.

Fantastic day

Joyce_H, Jul 2026
This was a wonderful day trip!!! Stefanie was a fantastic guide who ensured we all had a great day and shared much of the islands history with us. We were lucky and got to go in the grotto. Definitely would do this again!

Best day of the trip!

kcopen, Jul 2026
Marcella was a fantastic guide. She ensured we were maximizing our time in Capri and made every effort to give us the very best experience. Fortunately, the Blue Grotto was open and she took us there right away. It was magical. Thank you for the best day of our trip!

Good but in need of a overhaul

Richard_C, Jul 2026
Overall, a very well organised day, especially by the tour guide - Teresa. She was superb and did all she could to help. What was disappointing was that we went to Anacapri but not into Capri itself which was part of the trip! The day was a little rushed - especially the blue grotto. We queued well over an hour which we were told (on the day) this wasn’t bad. Overall, a little rushed. We struggled with the heat and hydration. Perhaps having some water on board the buses (even to buy) would’ve been appropriate. Some improvements to the itinerary could be made to make the day run more smoothly. Note - the blue grotto part is subject to the tide/water level on the day. There is always the risk of this being cancelled on the day due to high tides.

Capri tour

Scott_F, Jul 2026
Great tour. Our tour guide, Tiziana, was fantastic. This is a well planned out tour for anyone wanting to see the popular sights Capri has to offer.

Great time!

Alex_J, Jul 2026
Your with Teresa was great! We first went to Annacapri because the Blue Grotto was closed in the morning, after a few hours we went to the Blue Grotto which was beautiful! Luckily the line was short so we had time afterwards to do the boat tour as well (25 euro per person).

Fabulous Day in Capri!

Joy_S, Jul 2026
We had a fabulous day in Capri. Georgio was the best! He was able to time our visit perfectly so we were able to do the chairlift, blue grotto and an island boat trip WITHOUT waiting! It was so beautiful and we were extremely lucky not to have to wait for any of the experiences, which is very rare. He was in contact with providers to make sure we went at the best time of day. We had free time in Anacapri and Capri old town too. It was so much fun. We had the best time. I would do it all again!

Not a good value

CindyandTom_B, Jul 2026
Much of this tour was just free time. We enjoyed the chair lift in Anacapri, but the rest of the day was just walking and shopping. We didn’t get to do the Blue Grotto due to wind. The boat trip instead was not all that interesting. This was a very expensive excursion, so we expected so much more. Very disappointing.

Must do!

Sabrina_M, Jul 2026
We went with 13 people! A phenomenal experience! Perfect for viewing the beauty of capri! I highly recommend the chair lift choice! Beautiful at the top!

Meetup point very confusing

Annie_L, Jun 2026
The meet up point is very confusing, tour guide Tizanian tried very much to locate us. She is very nice to send us back the pictures in Blue Grotto

Response from Host, Jul 2026

Ciao Annie, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your overall experience did not fully meet your expectations, especially as the day itself went very smoothly. You enjoyed a full-day tour with an excellent guide like Tiziana, the Blue Grotto was open with almost no waiting time, and all planned activities were carried out as scheduled. Regarding the meeting point, we would like to clarify that it was clearly indicated on your voucher, including a map link to make it easy to find. Since you were the only one late at the meeting point, we contacted you directly and assisted you by phone, allowing you to reach the group in less than one minute. All other guests arrived on time by following the provided instructions. For future tours, we kindly suggest reviewing all the details on the voucher in advance to help ensure a smooth and stress-free start to the day. For this reason, we feel that the experience described in the review does not fully reflect how the tour was conducted. Kind regards, Alessandra

Small Group Tour from Naples to Blue Grotto, Anacapri & Capri

Yolandis_H, Jun 2026
The Small Group Tour itself from Naples to Blue Grotto, Anacapri and Capri was fantastic. We totally enjoyed it. Meeting up with the tour was a different story. We almost missed the tour because the instructions given for the meeting point was incorrect and confusing. Was told to meet just outside the main entrance of the port where a large sign reading Molo Beverello would be displayed on a wall. We never saw that. There was no signs, nothing when we exited the terminal. Kept asking different guides about Molo Beverello and they kept pointing to the left. We saw nothing. Kept walking a little ways and finally saw a building with Molo Beverello. Apparently Molo Beverello is the main company that operates the ferry terminal that travels back and forth to Capri. Wasn't told that. Still not sure if we were in the right place. We went inside the ferry terminal and never saw a guide holding sign that says "Capri and Blue Grotto" which our instructions stated. Needless to say the experience trying to find our group was horrible. For the price of this excursion, someone should meet those going on this tour right outside the main entrance of the cruise terminal with a sign. We should not have to run around all over the place trying to find our tour and asking people who don't even speak our language. We finally called the contact we were given and still had a difficult time getting through to anyone. We finally did reach someone who directed us where to meet there. Instructions given for meeting point was terrible. We almost gave up.

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Ciao Yolanda, We are sorry to hear about your experience and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We would like to clarify how our tours operate. All meeting point instructions are clearly indicated on your voucher, including a map link to help you locate it easily. The meeting point is directly outside the main entrance of the ferry terminal which is called Molo Beverello, by the “Molo Beverello” sign on the wall, across from the castle, exactly as stated on the voucher. Our guides are always present at the meeting point from 7:30 am to welcome guests, and thanks to the clear instructions provided, guests usually find the location without any issues. Additionally, an emergency contact number is included on your voucher, and our team is always reachable should any assistance be needed. On the day of the tour, you were the only guest who experienced difficulty finding the meeting point. We attempted to contact you and were able to arrange for you to meet our guide shortly afterward. For future reference, we kindly recommend reviewing the meeting point information on the voucher carefully and contacting the emergency number provided if any assistance is needed. This allows us to help immediately and ensure the best possible experience. Kind regards, Alessandra

On my own or am I really in a tour?

Michael_L, Jun 2026
So the tour doesn’t offer you anything that you couldn’t do on your own. You take the same ferry to Capri like anybody else. You arrive there and are taken on a small crammed mini bus without AC at 95F to ANACAPRI. They just tell you what is there and how to get there. Pretty easy as it is small. You’re told to come back two hours later where you’re taken to the blue grotto. Spend two hours under the blazing sun the same as if you weren’t on a tour. Then you’re dropped off at the port and said to walk around or go to the beach and be back in 1 hour. You probably could do all of That on your own without any issues for less than a third of what the tour costs

Petros_Y, Jun 2026
Tiziana, our guide, was fantastic! However, the wait to enter the Blue Grotto was almost two hours, and it was scorching hot. I’m not sure if it was worth the time and effort.

An Unforgettable Day

Thomas_L, Jun 2026
Teresa was a terrific guide, and we were incredibly lucky that we didn't have to wait at all to enter the Blue Grotto. Teresa made sure that our group moved quickly getting off the ferry, and that allowed us to get onto the first bus and get out to the Blue Grotto before any crowds arrived. Less than 5 minutes after getting off the bus, we were on a boat entering the Blue Grotto. It was a truly wonderful experience. Because we were all able to see the Blue Grotto so quickly, we also were able to ride the Mount Solaro chairlift (again with some helpful know-how from Teresa to assist us getting through the line quickly), eat a nice lunch, do a little bit of shopping and wandering, and still have time to take a boat ride around the island to see the different coves and grottos and Faraglioni rocks. It was an unforgettable day and many many thanks to Teresa for making it happen!

Must do!!

Jason_W, Jun 2026
This is a MUST book! Our tour guide, Vincenzo, was excellent from start to finish! He adapted our tour to give us the most perfect day! It is one of the highlights of all of my travel days over the last 30 years. His knowledge and expertise made this an incredible, memorable day that I will cherish forever!

Best Way to Do Capri, Anacapri, and Blue Grotto in One Day

Nate_S, Jun 2026
If you only have one day and you want to see Capri, Anacapri, and the Blue Grotto, I cannot recommend this tour enough- especially if you are on a cruise out of Naples and need to be back on the ship at a certain time. Massimo is an incredible tour guide and it was very clear he has been doing this for a long time as he made the tour so smooth with his expertise and relationships with the Capri locals. He took all the stress away by giving us the game plan in how we will get back to the ship on time (before 5:30pm). We were fortunate to get to see the Blue Grotto, though of course there was about an hour wait as expected. Make sure to bring cash to tip your boat rower! The restaurant Massimo took us to was also very good- highly recommend the seafood pizza! Massimo also purchased chair lift tickets for us while we ate our lunch so that we would have time to do this- also highly recommend! Though it is a bit faster paced, this is what allowed us to make the most out of the one day we had in Naples.
