A walking custom, private tour of Naples booked through Viator is a winning choice when given just one day to explore the city. Rich in history, food, and culture, our tour guide Donatella “Doni” came through for us in every way. The photo ops are endless and Doni captures every moment. Another highlight was dining at a locals only pizzeria which was a standout. Overall, the best money spent for a day to remember.

This walking tour covers both the very interesting Old Town and newer commercial and historical area closer to the waterfront. Our guide, Nadia, had arranged about good path that allowed us to see interesting sights and try local foods.

Our excursion from Viking Cruise Lines was mostly on a bus. This Viator excursion was 100% walking. This meant that we could go down the narrow streets where the bus could not.

Great 4 hour tour of Naples! Our guide, Donatella, took our personal likes into consideration as she guided us through the new city center and the historic city center. We explored streets that we would have never gone down alone! Highly recommend the tour!

We are Seniors and are no longer able to move quickly. Emi was a great tour guide, offering her unique home town perspective of history, managed to hit all the attractions that were important to us and at a speed we were able to keep up with.. Within 3 hours we got an impressive insight and overview of Napoli. Armando is an excellent guide who managed to share the flavor of Napoli.
From historical background, to architecture, food specialties, importance of football, development of the city and the improvement of safety until the special dialect and breathtaking view over the bay of Napoli to the Vesuv. It not a boring lecture but a very lively tour !

Our guide Donatella was informed, was able to get into a lot of different topics and knew her city well. It was easy communicating with her and we were able to customize our tour with ease. She also gave us good suggestions regarding stores for shopping for different local products including chocolate brands and street food places.

Enrico was an amazing tour guide. He was able to show us many different aspects of downtown Naples, including where to get pizza a portafoglio, important churches, spacconapoli, the nativity area, Maradona mural, piazza Plebiscito, the galleria and so much more. My family and I took this private tour with Serena and for someone that doesn’t generally write reviews, I felt compelled to write one because my family had a great time! We learned so much about the city, history, and culture and even my kids had a great time and asked a ton of questions. What imprsssed me most about Serena was that when asked if she could tailor the tour around some of my kids’ interests, she did exactly that by fitting in experiences that were both enjoyable for parents and kids alike. Renato is the best tourist guide that I have ever met. He tailor-made an itinerary that fulfil all
my requirements, especially on taking photos.
From the localised fish market on the East to the Castelo Elmo at the end, he led me to see many hidden gems, especially those in the Spanish Quarter and the Spacanapoli. Under his assistance, I have visited some "special spots" that may be dangerous for a solo traveler.
He is a Neapolitan. He has much knowledge on the development of the city, and the legends of those historic buildings. He also informed me some convenances of the Neapolitan. I have learned much from him.
The "after-sale" service is the part that I am most appreciated. After the tour, I still texted him and seek his opinions on purchasing the souvenir, and the methods of approaching certain scenic spots. He helped me without any hesitation.
I sincerely hope that he will have a marvelous achievement in the field of tourism.

Donatella’s tour was a major highlight of our 2-week cruise of Italy. A native of the city of Naples, she conveyed a deep appreciation and joy of the city. She was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, making us feel at home after a while and answered any questions that we had as we walked the lively, crowded streets. When we wanted to pursue things other than what she had planned, she went right along with our requests. She knew of places and treats that you cannot find in general information on the web. We tasted the best pizza in the city (and there was a lot of pizza places!) and the best pastries we have ever had. We left feeling we had a good friend in Naples.
