My husband and I were visiting the Last Supper for the first time on Saturday, September 5, 2026. We met with a large group of tourists and our guide, Serena, outside the entrance at 3pm (15:00 in Italy). And Serena began talking about the architecture of the buildings as well as the benefactor of Leonardo DaVinci, Ludovico Sforza, and all the history leading up to the painting. 30 minutes passed so quickly while she shared so many stories and details and everyone was very quietly listening. We entered into the refectory to see the Last Supper and it felt so otherworldly as Serena continued with the details of the mural style of painting done here and the beauty of the colors, the design of the faces and body positions and the depth perception from standing a bit further away. Plus, the comparison with the other al fresco painting done by Da Vinci’s friend, Da Montorfano. Serena had great explanations, so much information to share and a great pace…not too fast, not too slow. Incredible guide beyond any expectation. Plus, she answered extra questions we had at the end. Our guide, Marica was fantastic. She was a wealth of information and really created interest telling her information. We learnt so much from her. Her level of English was perfect and there were no issues understanding anything she was saying. Highly recommend this tour.

Patrizia was an excellent guide. She kept things moving was very knowledgeable and added in “extras” like lunch and shopping recommendations. She went above and beyond. The tour was well organized with the group mostly avoiding the crowds. We would highly recommend.
