Our guide was the best! She was very passionate about the Last Supper and was so knowledgeable about the church, Leonardo, and quoting the Bible verses as they pertained to the mural! I have gone on 12 guided tours in the last year and she took this tour to another level.

Our tour guide Samantha was excellent, her friendly manor and excellent knowledge of Milan made for a very good tour. The tour was quite long but you see all the main sights of Central Milan and we had excellent stops for coffee and lunch. Highly recommended.

The procedures for access to the last supper are strictly enforced and the exact timing is at their direction.

This was amazing. The tour was very detailed. They gave you time to explore on your own. I had no clue that this was painted on a wall.

Disappointed

Kathleen_B, Apr 2026
The guide was excellent, but we paid to go in the church and wasn’t allowed, i was very disappointed.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Dear Kathleen, Thank you for your feedback. We’re very pleased to hear that you appreciated the guide and their work. Regarding the church access, we would like to clarify that this information was clearly communicated in the pre-tour message and is also stated in the tour notes on Viator, where it is specified that, depending on the time slot, the church may be visited from the outside only. Unfortunately, access to the interior depends on the schedules and regulations set by the church authorities, which are beyond our control. We understand this may have been disappointing, but this was communicated in advance to ensure full transparency. Kind regards, Davide

Viator sells a three-hour...

LAURENT_D, Apr 2026
Viator sells a three-hour tour. Only the 15 minutes spent on *The Last Supper* are worth it. The rest is just filler. Very expensive for 15 minutes!

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Dear Laurent, Thank you for your feedback. However, I would like to clarify that the experience you attended was an alternative option that we proposed and that you explicitly accepted in advance. We clearly informed you that this was a 3-hour experience including The Last Supper and a guided walking tour of Milan, and you agreed to this arrangement. In addition, we provided you with a free upgrade, adding approximately 2 extra hours of guided city tour at no additional cost. During these 3 hours, the experience is designed to offer a complete introduction to Milan, including historical context, artistic insights, and a guided walk through the city center with highlights such as the Duomo area, the Galleria, and key landmarks that help visitors better understand the city and fully appreciate the significance of The Last Supper. Please also note that the visit to The Last Supper is strictly limited to 15 minutes by the museum authorities, and this applies to all operators. For this reason, presenting a 3-hour guided experience—part of which was offered complimentary—as if it were “filler” does not accurately reflect the value of what was provided. Kind regards, Dario

Buy the Tour!

MegGaravaglia, Oct 2025
Do yourself a favor & buy this tour vs. going it alone. Laura, our tour guide was stellar. She pointed out details and the subtlest nuances of Da Vinci’s painting my hubby & I agreed - we would have never known - nor read about or learned before. The depth of knowledge she commands and passion for all Italian history was unbelievable - only acquired I think from years of experience, education & drive to learn more. We had a ball - thanks!

Small group tour of the Duomo and Da Vinci's Lst Suuper

Jameel_A, Oct 2025
Well narrated walking tour of the area around the Duomo, the Galleria, and the neighborhood that includes Santa Maria delle Grazie, where the Last Supper is. Our guide, Cristina, was very knowledgeable, personable and professional. Not as small a group as I would have hoped for, for the price, but Cristina got everyone involved at some point.

Incredible experience!

Layne_L, Oct 2025
What a fantastic tour! Starting with the Last Supper, you learn about what a miracle it is that this masterpiece even still exists. Then, you head to the Milan cathedral, walking through a high-end shopping district. So, be aware that the end point is not the same place as the start point.

We throughly enjoyed visiting Last Supper and would have stayed to visit church but was closed until 3pm. Our entrance was at 1:30pm and was escorted out at 2:00pm so plan accordingly.

Awesome One Hour Tour

Katherine_S, Oct 2025
I loved this one hour tour. We have traveled so much, sometimes you want to see what you want to see and that’s it. This is that tour. Get your headsets and a short briefing before entering. A few photos and explanations of the paintings history, almost destruction during the wars and the restoration. You’re in and out before you know it. Plenty of time to take photos (no flash or video allowed) and a quick trip to the gift shop.

Book with another operator. Last Supper magical.

Tracy_S, Oct 2025
They schedule the Last Supper in the final 30 minutes of a 3 hour tour. Our guide was not engaging at all and spoke with a very heavy accent, struggling for words. We have had tours all over Europe and this was one of the worst guides we've encountered. Walking the streets she was silent unless asked questions. She half told the story of the horses on the Peace Arch. Luckily someone spoke up otherwise there was no explanation at all! Just stopped mid sentence struggling with translation. It was so brutal, people actually left for an hour and came back. I wish I had. We stood around waiting for entry looking at each other. Find another company.

Visiting Leonardo da...

Jun_T, Oct 2025
Visiting Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper isn’t just seeing a painting — it’s stepping into one of the most powerful moments in art history. Standing before the mural inside the quiet refectory of Santa Maria delle Grazie, you can almost feel the breath of that suspended instant — the tension, the disbelief, the human emotion behind every face. The guided tour adds a layer of richness — from the fascinating story of how the fresco survived war and centuries of decay, to the intricate techniques Leonardo used to chase light and soul rather than permanence. Every detail, from the faded hues to the expressions of the apostles, feels alive when you hear the context behind them. It’s a short visit, but an unforgettable one — a brief, sacred pause where art, history, and silence meet.
