The tour is overpriced! Buy the tickets at the cathedral as they are cheaper (but risk tickets selling out) and nearly all of the information from the tour guide is available in the museum opposite the cathedral (again cheaper to buy all those tickets than this tour).

The experience was really disappointing. There isn’t much to see inside the Duomo, and the history is not particularly remarkable—it feels no different from many other ordinary churches. The advertisement is misleading, as it suggests that the terraces are included, but in reality this is a separate option.
Unfortunately, I only realized that my ticket did not include access to the terraces after it was too late. When I contacted the booking service to clarify this, the only response I received was to “read the booking details,” and they offered no help or flexibility at all. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations and felt poorly communicated.

Signed up for tour to start at 11:30 and was told arrive 15 minutes prior- 11:30 they handed us paper for entry and come back at noon.
Felt tour could have been alittle more in depth
And felt rushed with tour guide but was to stay longer on our own afterwards
Headset that used was muffled at times and hard to hear.

This is a good, quick tour. There are three parts. 1) on your own in the museum (30 mins), 2) a guided tour of the Duomo (1 hr), and 3) on your own to the rooftop (as long as you want). The guided tour is good and educational, but you could probably spend more time in it. We took the elevator up to the rooftop, but you need to use the stairs to get down. The hardest part was finding our guide when we got there, but he called me and then we were able to connect.

We had an excellent guided visit to the Duomo in Milan. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating details that truly brought the cathedral to life.
She got us in quickly, skipping the very long lines, and walked us through the Duomo in a fast, efficient, and well-organized way — without ever making it feel rushed.
The tour ended with access to the Duomo rooftop, which was absolutely unforgettable. Seeing the sculptures up close was so special, and the view from the top is simply breathtaking.
Highly recommend this tour if you want to experience the Duomo in the best possible way.

They are visible and you can locate them easily outside the cathedral. Very friendly! I loved that the audio was not prerecorded. It was an actual guide. I liked that I could go have lunch and come back to the museum and take my time. I wish they had a book about the museum. I would like something to reference all my pics too.

It was a 45-minute guided tour inside of the Duomo, and then you had the ability to stay inside as long as you liked afterwards. Additionally, if you bought the ticket for rooftop access, you could explore that as well on your own. I gave this a 3-star rating only because it was difficult to hear the tour guide. We used radios as we were a larger group, and the guide didn't want to speak too loudly inside the cathedral, but the quality of the radio connection was poor so I didn't hear most of the tour. I tried my best to stand next to the guide to hear her directly without the radio earpiece. It was either my headphone connection or perhaps on the guide's end of being static-y with the microphone. I booked this as a last-minute tour on my last day in Milan, and I'm glad I got a bit of a history lesson on the Duomo and being able to go inside, but it wasn't the best tour experience I've had with Viator.

Short tour of Duomo that gives you just the basics. You’re then left to explore the Duomo and travel up to the roof on your own. Very good value, just don’t expect in-depth detail.

Our tour guide was very good and very knowledgeable. The Duomo is absolutely stunning. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it was very hard to find the meeting place. The company called us a couple of times to see where we were at, but had to call them back to get better meeting point instructions.

The title on the Tour states “Guided cathedral tour AND ROOFTOP ACCESS” however in the fine print roof top access is not included in all tours.
VERY DISAPPOINTING that we could not go up top on the beautiful sunny day because it was sold out. We were under the impression that we had rroof top access.

Our actual tour guide was 5star. The best, very informative & kept the pace going. It was a pleasure to have her. However the tour coordinators we met outside were aweful. Not on time, no communication on why they were late, & I had not questioned the paper ticket (written in italian) about the timing, we would have waited an extra hour standing around. Not very acceptable. But in the end, after a "discussion with the manager" somehow we got our tour on time.

A last minute booking but best experience. Easy finding the tour provider, on time and very organized. It was a busy post Christmas weekend so there were big crowds, but the tour leader Barbara was amazing in leading the group with so much noise around. The tour agent was very organized, one explained the time line of the tour and the other sent us to go to the museum before joining the tour inside the Duomo. .

Incredibly expensive...paid £80+ each and was given a ticket that had a price of €20 written on it ...
Tour of the Duomo was ok, not particularly detailed or long but a few interesting points were pointed out.
The rooftop was great and so I would recommend doing that. I imagine it can all be done a lot cheaper by paying directly at the duomo

Compared to other tours I did this was low bang for your buck. We went in the cathedral and the guide shared some cool facts but nothing special and then dismissed us after 45 minutes. My cost was more than $115 for one person. I did a Tuscan bus tour with wine and lunch which covered four stops ending in Pisa for the same price. To top it off they held my bag while I went up the steps and then left it with the kiosk salesperson without telling me. Lucky I didn’t have anything valuable but not impressed.

Although this tour was highly recommended by friends who had taken a couple of years ago, it was a real disappointment. To begin with our guide was uninspiring.: she was more concerned about making sure people knew how to access the roof of Duomo rather than focus to give us a proper tour. To add insult to pain, the actual tour inside Duomo was less than 30 minutes, even though it is advertised as 45 minutes. It felt like the greatest benefit of this tour was jumping the queue to enter the cathedral.
