Must do tour if visiting Milan for first time
Excellent tour with fantastic tour guide. Tour is well thought out and fantastic way to see the two biggest attractions in all of Milan while getting a feel for the rest of what Milan has to offer. One of the best tours with one of the best tour guides we have were done in Europe.

Perfect start to a vist to Milan.
Charming guide with great knowledge of food history of the city of Milan. We tried all of the classics. I feel as though I get the region much better, based on when in time the food was introduced.
Just enough food and great variety, we didn't feel rushed, and was a perfect blend of quality and real experiences.

A relaxed home-like experience!
This "cozy dinner experience" was a favorite activity for my daughter and I during our brief (3 day) visit to Milan. Our hostess Chiara A. made us feel very welcome + at home. We felt like we were visiting an "old friend". The other 4 attendees were from the Netherlands and Chiara's interactions with us all brought laughter + a truly relaxed atmosphere. Chiara was very knowledgeable about how to make the dishes selected. I might even give pasta making a try at home!
With all our conversation and learning, our evening was longer than the planned 3 hrs (4+ hrs)... we were home later than expected. Very tired but with wonderful memories of our Milanese experience!
Chiara was also very responsive before our dinner (texted me via WhatsApp right away) when I had concerns about directions. Provided helpful information for nearest metro stop.

Chef Denisse imparts her...
Chef Denisse imparts her knowledge in an easy to understand and inviting method that makes you want more. You realize how easy it can be to make a high quality meal with a little preparation. The gnocchi and ravioli were accompanied by perfect sauces to our great delight. But the coup de grace was the tiramisu. Everybody's expressions when trying their own masterpiece was the same. And the quiet experienced after that first bite was from our own awe at how good and simple it was to make. You will enjoy this more than a similarly priced meal at any restaurant and learn some new skills at the same time

Fantastica!
Anna Maria was very knowledgeable and fun to do this tour with. The food was wonderful and was a good mix of Milanese staples. We ended up in a group of 4 which made the experience more personal.
Highly recommend this tour!
Food & drink wise: we got 3 drinks total, appetizers at the first & second stop, a full plate of risotto, and gelato. It was truly filling, and we understand that the restaurants and bar choices change depending on the season and availability of preferred locations.

Great introduction to Milan
Francesca was an excellent guide. We had a very small group (3). The variety & quality of the food samples was very good.
We tried balsamic vinegar (tasting room & history experience), bresaola with bread & two cheeses, “salted rice” (hubby’s favorite), panzerotti, and a little sweet. We had opportunities to purchase a few things as well.
We walked around and saw some archeological sites, bits of the old city wall, and several squares & churches. We finished the tour near the Duomo, which is also near the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
Overall, a fun excursion, a fun & interesting guide, and an introduction to Milan’s favorite snacks.

Enjoyably tasty
Small group walking and tasting. Our guide Simon was organized and presented information in a clear fashion. He was able to arrange accommodations for a member of the group with food restrictions. You have definitely had a full meal and then some by the time you finish the tour.

A great neighborhood with great food and wine!
Come hungry! There are 5 stops; 3 appetizers, a main course, and a dessert. We enjoyed learning about this area of Milan. Navigli has canals and is a vibrant area. The food and wine pairing were very nice. Our guide, Cecelia, was very knowledgeable and shared the history of the neighborhood. We would definitely recommend this tour

Good food and good information
Our guide was knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. He didn’t just take us from place to place—he shared stories about the city's history and the cultural influences. The portions were generous, and there was a balance of savory and sweet.
I highly recommend this food tour to anyone who wants to explore beyond the typical tourist attractions and experience authentic local flavors.

Food and fun, what can be better?
Great afternoon with a terrific guide, Armando. He not only took us for authentic northern Italian treats, he shared the local history and sites along the way. We lucked out and were joined by a mix of a fun and interesting people from all over the world and enjoyed their stories over wine and charcuterie, yummy chocolate and the painstaking decision of which gelato flavor to get. A great way to see Milan and meet new friends. Come hungry and expect the unexpected from the fried pizza!

Great tour option for Milan!
Our guide was very knowledgeable. Our guide knew many details regarding the area and art that we saw. The tour was quite comprehensive. In addition, the group was large and he was able to manage the large group and move along to all points of interest on the tour quite efficiently.

Elena is a masterful teacher and a delight - do this tour and lesson!
We weren't sure what to expect in terms of group size but we had the teacher (the wonderful, charming, witty, and knowledgeable Elena) all to ourselves for the market tour.
Being from the Midwest in the United States, outdoor market was an incredible wealth of fresh and in season vegetables, fruits, seafood, etc. Elena pointed out many items that were new to us, shared about the traditional Italian market and seafood offerings, and definitely left us inspired to seek out locally grown and in season produce when we get back home (note: we live in Iowa so "summer" is when we can get fresh lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, etc from the garden. No year round growing season.:()
We then had a wonderful cooking lesson her nearby Cook and Dine kitchen facility which included everything we needed. We were joined by two others, a young couple from Germany, and Elena helped the four of us make delicious gnocchi with a lovely marinara, a vegetable lasagna with green beans, bechamel sauce, and pesto, and delicious tiramisu. We made every item as Elena expertly taught us with good guidance and humor. There were lots of laughs but also a lot learned (eg use the basil stems in marinara sauce as it cooks and then remove - there is much flavor in the stems. And a "pinch" of salt means "an ITALIAN (hefty) pinch of salt! We learned to taste and then season and Elena was great with praise and correction. It was the highlight of our visit to Milan and we enjoyed the meal with our new friends while Elena served us wine and limoncello and cleaned up (she refused to let us help - with the threat of no wine! "You are on holiday"). She was an excellent teacher and just a wonderful person and we enjoyed spending the time learning and laughing. Highly recommend!!!
