After meeting your knowledgeable guide in front of the Duomo, Milan's immense and extravagant Gothic cathedral, learn about the history of the church, taking some time to study the facade of the sacred structure, including the statues and wicked gargoyles.
Head toward the entrance to the cathedral, going right past that long line and entering the building, thanks to the skip-the-line ticket. Stroll through the interior with your guide, learning about the overlooked nooks and corners of the building and hearing about some of the incredible artwork that's inside. Admire the 50 incredible stained glass windows, as well as the sculptures and paintings.
After, come up to ground level again and exit the church. If you've chosen this tour on the weekend, take some free time to see more of Milan on your own or tuck into a nice meal at a local restaurant. Or, if you've taken this on a weekday, commence the rooftop tour immediately.
Go back inside the cathedral with your skip-the-line ticket and then ride in the lift up to the Duomo's terrace
Once on the rooftop, take in the amazing views of the city, getting close-up sights of the statues, spires, and gargoyles. Take a moment to listen to your guide regale you with more history of the cathedral.
After spending some time up on the roof and admiring the views, head back down to ground level, as your tour is finished.

- A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women.
- It is FORBIDDEN to introduce inside Duomo food, liquids, knifes, ceramic mugs and everything that can be used as blunt weapon.
- Kindly consider that after the elevator, there are around 75 stairs in order to reach the top of the Cathedral, and back down at the end of the tour
- On hot days, we recommend wearing a hat, applying sunscreen, and bringing a bottle of water to stay protected and hydrated during the tour.
- If you selected the Open Bus Ticket, please show your voucher at the bus stop in Piazza Duomo, in front of the taxi stand. Look for the MILAN OPEN TOUR bus.
- The Spanish Tour Option is available from April 1st to October 31st at 10:00am

This is a must in Milan, so intresting. The beauty of the Duomo is beyond words. As an engineer it was really intresting to go on the roof and see the construction (nerd I'm afraid).
The guide was really knowledgeable and engaging. She kept us all together on a really busy day. She went through a lot of the history of the Duomo from a religious, construction and geopolitical view.

The tour was amazing, ladies wear sleeves and something up to you knees otherwise you will need to go buy to cover up.
The guide Carmine was informative and knowledgeable and answered questions without hesitation.

Carmine is an excellent guide - very knowledgeable and he provides lots of historical and current day information about the Duomo. He was very considerate to make the pace of the tour comfortable, especially on the last steps to the rooftops. The roof top levels provide an interesting perspective and great views. Our guide was amazing sadly we didn't get her name. Her knowledge of the Duomo was very informative and her wit made everyone laugh. Wear appropriate clothing to enter in the church. Women no short shorts. Shoulders covered. Men no hats inside the Duomo. Comfortable shoes.

I had a great time visiting the Duomo as part of this tour; skipping the lines (which were growing as the tour proceeded) was a great bonus. Carmine did a great job guiding us through both the interior of the cathedral, as well as on the rooftop. He provided great details and made sure to point out the important historical aspects of the cathedral. Even though it was a rainy and windy day, the tour was very enjoyable and I would recommend it regardless of weather!

Chara was the best! She was so funny and knowledgeable that my 16 year old son loved this tour as well and said that Chara needs to be a teacher. Don't wait in line to save $20 or something. Your time is more valuable than that. We didn't have to wait at all to see the rooftop tour, we had a friendly knowledgeable guide and then still had time on our own at the end to stay in the Duomo as long as we liked.

It was wonderful to go inside and to be on each level of the Duomo to see the architecture. There are many steps going up and down and narrow hallways, which is fine if you can manage that.

I expected to be amazed by the majesty, history and beauty of the Duomo. What made this tour the best of my trip was our guide. Yes, she had all the info, but she was super-energetic and very funny: “London [we were all called by our cities] we now go inside, put the sweater on - you’re too sexy”). She brought a welcome jolt of the unexpected to every step of the tour. (And there are a LOT of steps in the Duomo. Don’t take the roof part of the program if that’s an issue.)

If you have already visited a few Duomos then you could skip this one as they all start to look the same.
It is not exactly “skip the line” as we had to wait in line for a while for the elevator.
Meet up and check-in was easy. Be sure to show up 15 minutes early.
If going in summer be prepared for the heat. You are allowed to have water and I highly recommend it.

Eddy our guide sent out in the morning all the rules so you knew exactly what to expect, ie clothing requirements, security, etc. The meeting place was easy to find. Eddy was very knowledgeable, and skipping the line in the extreme heat a blessing. The Cathedral was beautiful and the views breathtaking.

I don’t usually do tours but since this was short I decided to give it a shot. If it wasn’t for our guide I would have left the tour due to the heat. Ciara I think was the name of our guide. She was so funny and entertaining I could not leave and miss out on listening to her and that is the only reason I stayed.

The check in process was a disaster. No organization at all, we checked in with a separate person not with the guide.
Our guide couldn’t figure out the microphone and then was firing off information at rapid fire with no opportunity for questions about the sites she was referring to.
The Duomo itself is beautiful and highly recommended but you can also easily purchase your own ticket at the door and the queue when we were there was essentially non existent. The guide added no additional information we felt we couldn’t have gotten on our own.
The guide also gave us incorrect information I verified later on in the afternoon.

Great tour of the Duomo. Tour started on time and meeting place was easily found. Guide Simone was great, he provided headphones for everyone. Group was approximately 20 people in total. Simone was very thorough and did a nice job moving us to the front of the line and elevator to the top. He did a great job explaining things and answering questions. Would recommend for comprehensive tour of the Duomo, took about 2 hours in total. For any females wearing tank tops they need to cover their shoulders so recommend bringing a shawl / scarf FYI!
