What are people saying about Verona

Verona history and so much more!
This was one of the best guided tours we have ever had. Verona is filled with history and details you would never know without an expert to point out what is right before your eyes. I highly recommend this to any visitor. We still talk about things we learned on this tour and seeing the colloseum was a highlight!

We saw and learned so much about Verona!
We saw and learned so much about Verona's history, from roman times to present. Without this tour how would we have ever seen the ruins of the original roman wall and part of a home, inside a Benetton Store. We will look forward to soon seeing the closing ceremonies of the olympics in the roman amphitheater and can say "we were there".

We had a great...
We had a great experience! You could tell our guide and the wineries we visited were very passionate about their wine and region! We loved the natural methods the wineries use in their vineyards and we could really taste the difference. And even though our tour was later in the day and right before Christmas, we weren’t rushed but instead encouraged to take our time and enjoy the fruits of their labor. Would recommend this tour to anyone who is wanting to visit authentic wineries of the Valpolicella wine region.

Highly recommend!
This was our favorite tour. The views were amazing and Alessandro knew exactly where to take you with the most gorgeous views. He was super awesome and very knowledgeable and friendly. He took us to a great spot to get lunch with very hospitable and generous owners. We had a wonderful day

Perfect evening!
We had a great experience along with 2 other couples that we met at the class. Carlo was a great teacher, and we all successfully made Tiramisu, ravioli, and fettuccine together. I highly recommend do the course in the evening because there was much Prosecco and wine! Highly recommended!

Well done truffle hunting experience
Fun and authentic truffle hunt. Several in our group had been before and thought this tour was superior to other tours. We met in a small town and them drove a few minutes to a wooded area. The guide explained about the dog and how truffles grow. We sent off into the woods and observed the dog working. She found truffles in several locations which was exciting. The area was beautiful (great views) and we had lovely weather which made for a fun outing. We ended the tour with a simple and delicious meal at a local restaurant that highlighted the truffles we found that morning. Excellent experience!

Great tour with Paco
Fantastic tour around Verona, trying all different restaurants and smaller eateries. Paco done a fantastic job telling us not only about the food but also a bit about Verona itself. He was chatty, interesting and asked about our city and culture as well as giving us tips for our next stop in Venice.

Exceptional experience from start to finish
This was truly a highlight of our trip to Verona. Our guide, Jacobo, set the tone for us as he is outstanding and each stop along the way provided a depth of knowledge of the area and wine from the owners of each vineyard. We learned history, the anatomy of wine, ate grapes in the vineyard and tasted so many amazing wines. The tour group also facilitates shipments of wines back to the US (cannot wait for that to arrive).

Awesome
The tour is very informative and nice.
The only draw back is that you are in the coach for too long because the distance it way to far.
Very understandable.
But the highlight was the tour leader.
Fredrick Von Gal.
He was super charming / patient/ and even passed some jokes.
Well done to the driver ( Paolo if i remember well)
For handling that big monster up those hills.

A Great Day
I booked this trip a while ago and was really looking forward to it. It did not disappoint. It's quite a long day travelling from Garda to Venice, approx 3hrs, but it's worth it. Our guide, Francesco, was excellent, very knowledgeable, very clear about meeting points and times etc, and he was also quite funny. We went on a Monday in mid September, and it was very walkable, not overly crowded at all. The bridges do get very crowded though, lots of people stopping to take photos, but the main square, Saint Mark's was surprisingly quite quiet. Francesco showed us all the main buildings and was very good at explaining the history of them. After some free time we took an hour's long boat tour with our group. This was very nice and a good way to get out of the intense sun and heat. Venice is a beautiful city with loads of beautiful architecture, lovely canals (which were not smelly at all) and more gondalas than you'll ever need to see.

Great excursion to Sirmione/Lake Garda
I was staying in Verona for 3 nights and wanted to get a taste of Lake Garda. Being able to see two locations without having to worry about transportation was perfect. Our guide Leo was excellent and kind. Felt like it was a good amount of time to check out Sirmione and neighboring Lazise. Would recommend this if you’re staying in Verona and want to see Lake Garda.
My roommate in the hostel I stayed at said it was easy to get to Sirmione, but took him 3 hours to get back. Maybe due to it being a Sunday with buses, but I felt like getting shuttled to a very popular tourist destination was part of the value of this trip too.
The boat ride was a nice way to get some photos, the hour or so walking tour gave a good feel of Sirmione (Lazise too), and then you got to wander a bit (or choose to in Lazise). I also got to swim quick in Lake Garda - the water was a perfect temperature. Warm enough, but refreshing.
Overall, I’d recommend this trip if you’re looking for a day away from Verona while you’re there.

Fantastic introduction to Beautiful city of Verona
Maria I was a wonderful guide— very knowledgeable and energetic. She showed us the important sites of Verona, as well as some not so well-known such as Roman ruins the typical tourist would not see. We appreciated all the information she gave us. We highly recommend Maria as a guide— the tour was a wonderful introduction to the wonderful city of Verona
