It was well organised with great communication beforehand. Our guide, Monica, was excellent. She had a great wealth of knowledge about every location. She answered all questions and also asked the group questions. She was very patient and entertaining at all times. Well done Monica, thank you so much

Itinerary

Milan's highlights include one of the oldest churches in the world, an acclaimed opera house, fashionable boutiques aplenty and, of course, Leonardo’s mural The Last Supper. See all this and more on your half-day tour of Milan.

For your first stop, you’ll stroll through the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele arcade with its luxury outlets, and admire the chic goods on display.

Then, head to the Milan Cathedral next door. Admire the scale and beauty of the cathedral and learn of its long history before stepping inside to tour the interior. Your admission ticket is include.

After the cathedral, continue through parts of Milan, and learn about the city’s history and rep as a fashion capital. Then, continue to the La Scala. Prepare to be wowed by the prestigious Milan opera house, with its ornate stage that glistens under crystal chandeliers. Gaze down at the orchestra pit from the public box, and take a quick look inside La Scala Museum with your guide.

Finally, you’ll pay homage to The Last Supper, a work widely touted as Leonardo’s pièce de résistance. Skip the lines and head inside to see the famous depiction of Jesus’ last meal, and learn about its conservation issues and ensuing visitor restrictions from your guide. To keep the painting in its restored glory, all Last Supper tours are limited to 15 minutes.

Your tour then finishes at The Last Supper Museum.

Please note: the order of the itinerary may vary on the day.

If a rehearsal or show is taking place during your La Scala visit, you will not visit the public box.

This was probably the worst tour I have ever taken. Our tour guide was very difficult to understand and she spoke really fast even though we asked her to slow down. She also switched subjects so quickly we could not keep up! Also, The Tour was supposed to include less Scalia, which we thought was the Opera House. Apparently there was an opera that was playing at the same time and so she told us that the museum was being offered as an ultimate option. We actually think it’s clicking bait. I don’t think they take you into the Opera House at all so if that’s what you wanna see, you can book your tickets on your own and you can do that for the last supper as well. And. we had booked our tickets a month in advance so this should have been known. Frankly it was a ways of money and really disappointed as usually we enjoy Viator tours

Poor Experience

Erna_B, Mar 2026
Tour Guide was not good. He did not tell us his name and most of the time he talked, he looked down. When we walked in front of the Duomo, he did not stop for anyone to take a picture. However he did provide good information at the Last Supper.

Walking Tour Milan and historic sites

Great experience, knowledgeable guide. Walking and stops for 3 hours before opportunity to use pay restrooms.

We fully planned on going on this tour the day we got into Milan, however circumstances beyond our control due to delayed and cancelled flights, we were unable to participate. Zani Viaggi, the tour operator refused to give a refund and didn’t even make contact when we didn’t make the tour. Unprofessional.

Last Supper and other half a day tour of Milan

Meena_J, Mar 2026
The audio equipment was not good so we could barely hear the guide. Also the explanations in 2 languages made it a little tedious. Next time I would do a small or private tour with English only speaking guide. The guide was knowledgeable but we could barely hear him. We had plenty of time at Last Supper which made it worthwhile. Having google sbc ChatGPT helped a lot

Lora_Z, Mar 2026
If you have food or drink you cannot go into the church where the Last supper is! There was never any mention of lockers at the entrance that food or bags could be stored! It would be a good idea to let your customers know this information! We had expensive chocolates and desserts that had to be thrown away! Thankfully I was able to retrieve because we were one of the last group going in and I got It out of the trash!🙄

Sites amazing, the rest of the experience average

Paula_M, Mar 2026
Got to see all of the sights and it would have been difficult to get a ticket to the Last Supper if we had not used a third party tour group. The Duomo and Last supper were amazing! Very difficult to hear on the headsets often scratchy. No bathroom facilities at the tour starting spot which is a tour company office….frustrating for several people. Need to know that the tour ends at a different location than it begins. The ending spot is kind of isolated and you will most likely need to use public transportation or a taxi from this location back to the duomo area….it is a mile walk which is fine for some people but others should plan on a taxi or bus. The tour guide did an adequate job. It was pouring down rain and there was a lot of walking or waiting in the rain. Can’t control the weather but it made for a long day being out in it all afternoon.

It’s not the plane, it’s the Pilot

Luis_G, Mar 2026
This was the second time doing this tour. My first time i was by myself, Massimo was engaging and energetic. I did not leave a review back in november but it would be a 5. This second time, different tour guide, was not as entertaining, more dull, filled with historical details that bored many people in the tour, and had to partially take a break during the opera segment for fresh air. The duomo and last supper were great, as i could point out the interesting facts to my family. Like they say in Top Gun, it is not the plane, it’s the pilot. Highly recommended tour (it will be a coin toss of who delivers the information and what information). Be prepared for a walk, and strollers can be managed (there is an elevator at the theater).

Missed a lot of the discussion. :-(

John_A, Mar 2026
We had a group of about 28 people. Everyone was provided remote listening devices so we could hear the guide. Sadly, the guide carried the mic in her hand and was very inconsistent with its position making her voice drop in and out making it difficult to follow her discourse. We did visit the things we were most interested in, but there was so of her dialogue we missed because of the way she held the mic. :-(

Great Half-Day Tour

Carol_C, Mar 2026
PRO - The three tours included were ideal to get a flavor of Milan. I enjoyed seeing the Duomo, La Scala Theater and The Last Supper, and especially enjoyed the 'no-wait' tickets. We had a very knowledgeable tour guide. CONS - The audio on the complimentary headset is really bad. I only heard/comprehended about one in every 5 words. Also, the venue at which you meet the group (The Milan Visitor Center - Zani Viaggi Largo Cairoli, 18, 20121 Milano MI, Italy) - the personnel there are not very friendly and there is no bathroom for the tour guests. I spent 130 Euros on the tour and they told me to go to the cafe across the street, purchase a bottle of water and use their bathroom.

Guide was very smelly and disheveled. He was also very impersonable and mumbled so it was hard to hear. Was quite expensive for the quality of tour.

Great experience

Jasmin_A, Feb 2026
Our tour guide, Massimo, was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. He provided fascinating insights into the history of La Scala Theatre, the Duomo, and The Last Supper fresco, which made the experience even more meaningful. It was a very cool experience. However, I would like to note that the tour description indicated we would take a bus from the Duomo to see The Last Supper fresco, but we traveled by metro instead.

Privileged access, totally worth the price

Anne_B, Feb 2026
A long afternoon - almost four hours - but it flies by with Massimo as your knowledgeable and engaging guide. You come away appreciating Milan and wanting to see more!

Must sees in Milan

Katherine_A, Feb 2026
I’d say these are places you must see in Milan. Duomo for its architecture and history, LaScala for its cultural importance and The Last Supper masterpiece- before it fades away. The guide was very informative, but I wish he made more of an effort to keep the group together.

An afternoon in Milan

Alan_T, Feb 2026
Long tour but well worth the time and money spent. An appropriate amount of time spent at each location. Awesome Tour guide!

Return to Florence

Gregory_B, Feb 2026
The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was well organized and we enjoyed the time. Lots of fun.

Last Supper was phenomenal!

Kevin_B, Feb 2026
I can be a long 3-1/2 hours of walking but the guide did a good job moving from spot to spot and had a lot of interesting information. The tour ended at the Last Supper. That was a great and lasting memory!

Terrific tour

Jacqueline_W, Feb 2026
Loved the tour. Maximus was a terrific tour guide! He was a font of information and delivered a great tour. I was amazed at the sites themselves but he gave me an understanding of what made them so special. I highly recommend this tour.

Over promised…Under delivered!

George_B, Jan 2026
The Scala Theater and Museum portion of our tour was canceled. We are able to go on our own, but without a guide…the very reason we paid for a Viator Tour…to have a guided tour!

Worth the money!

Jennifer_B, Jan 2026
Great guide! Very knowledgeable and timely, open to questions and friendly. The tour was well worth the money! Highly recommend!

A bit longwinded, but overall an amazing experience.

Christina_H, Jan 2026
I loved being able to see the Duomo, La Scala, and th Last Supper, but it dragged on a lot. I felt like we could have done exactly the same amount in 2/3 of the time. We had to sit through the same thing as it was translated into two different languages and then stayed in the opera house a bit too long. It was still wonderful and to allow people to take their time, I am ok with it and would do it again. I just feel like if it is 3 hours, perhaps we can do a bit more in each place instead of using so much time waiting for another language to be translated.
