Our tour guide Larissa/ Lara was amazing! We only had one day to see Milan and this tour was exactly what we needed. It was just us in the room with Da Vinci's last supper and with Lara it was really easy to understand the painting. Then we strolled around the city and she gave us interesting information, we really felt like we knew the place. She is very friendly, has a great sense of humour and we definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to be part of a small group and really enjoy Milan like a local, not a tourist. Thank you Lara, you were fantastic!

My husband and I have wanted to see the Last Supper for years, so we decided to pay more to go with a smaller group. It was absolutely the right decision. Lara, our wonderful guide, provided us with background information and historical context that helped us experience and appreciate everything so much more. After seeing the Last Supper, Lara then took us on a walking tour of Milan, stopping in shops and sites that we never would have found on our own. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to escape the ever-present crowds of tourists and enjoy a more personal experience.

Amazing tour; fantastic guide

My 3 sisters and I had a semi private tour to see The Last Supper. We were a total of six and it was wonderful to be in such a small group and the 3 hours flew by. Our guide was absolutely fantastic. Had a wealth of knowledge about this amazing fresco, Leonardo Da Vinci, and the neighborhood. In addition to viewing the Last Supper fresco we were fortunate to be able to go into the church as well and our guide was able to describe all the features and subtleties on the walls and ceilings. The church is not always open to the general public. From there we went to another amazing church nearby with a huge pipe organ where we were able to enjoy the beauty of the church ti the accompaniment of a recording of a choir of nuns singing angelically. From there we were introduced to the archeological museum, the Leonardo institute with a Codex of many pages of his writings and then we had a brief stop for coffee complements of our guide. We continued walking through the neighborhood and ended our tour at the Duomo.. one of the most enjoyable tours we took during our 10 day trip to Italy.

This review is solely based on the value of the tour compared to the price. Our tour guide Lara was fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. She was passionate about giving the tour and had amazing facts about the city and the last supper. However we were disappointed that entrance to the duomo was not included being that the name duomo is in the title. That should change. As well as the price we paid. The tour simply was not worth the price. It was nice to see the last supper and parts of Milan. But I wouldn’t recommend this tour if you feel that the price is too much compared to other tours.

The highlight of our trip to Milan

Fabulous tour! To start, you should book this because it gets you tickets to see The Last Supper. Without a tour, it's incredibly challenging. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with our guide, Mirella, who was probably the best tour guide we have ever had -- and we have traveled to 40 countries and had plenty of tours. Not only was she knowledgeable (a trained archaeologist) but she was incredibly personable, had great energy, and very flexible about stopping for food or restrooms. Even though we walked a ton, it was a very enjoyable morning and the highlight of our time in Milan. I would recommend that you book your tickets to the inside of the Duomo beforehand. The description of this tour is a little misleading and you don't actually go inside, so buy your tickets online earlier. Afterwards, pop into Giacomo Restaurant for a delicious lunch with a stunning view of the whole piazza. It was a great half-day. Thank you!
