The staff were really wonderful and made the experience both informative and fun. I liked that everyone contributed to making the paella together, rather than each of us making our own individually. And the sangria was also delicious. Definitely recommend for larger groups

Tony taught the paella and sangria making class. He was professional, engaging, funny and taught us about the history and culture of Spain it was fantastic! I would totally do knit again and would highly recommend it. The food turned out amazing and the sangria as well as all the wines shared were great!

This experience could not have been better! Go hungry! Starting with drinks was perfect and so fun. I loved learning about the history of everything and getting to help make it with our super fun group. Our guide was simply the best. Definitely recommend.

We found the location a bit of a challenge to find so bake in some buffer time. But once you’re there the room are comfortable, the staff great and the instruction well communicated. We download the recipes for paella and sangria and look forward to showing off our new skills with friends at home

This is a class good for people who like to drink. The kids made a non-alcoholic version of sangria. We had a good time learning about making seafood paella. Indoor setting.

This was by far the best cooking experience we have done on a trip! Tony was very attentive and information and fun. Pedro took really great care of us as well! In total we had a group of 5 (3 of my family and couple from Italy). We all pitched in a cooked really delicious seafood paella and a chicken paella. It took us a minute to navigate to find the place since Apple maps did not clarify the location is in a building but we allowed plenty of time to get there. Highly recommend and my 20-something daughters enjoyed the class as well. If I ever come back to Madrid, I would do this again!

One of our favorite experiences on this trip! We had a small, but great group. The King of Paella kept it very engaging. This is just the right amount of hands on cooking, learning and eating & drinking. We can’t wait to try making our own paella at home.

My sister and I absolutely loved this experience. Not only did we learn so much about authentic paella and sangria, but we had a wonderful time cooking! The Chef/owner and staff were amazing; I will be sending my parents here when they visit for their anniversary later this year!

Be prepared that this paella is an al dente one. I was with a family of 6 adults and two kids. It was fun but I think it took Tony longer to get started since there was a lot of conversation. My shrimps and mussels were not cooked, unless Madrid paella believe that the shrimp and mussels should be undercooked. There was also a sangria class. Wish he had mentioned the contribution of the Arabs having introduced rice to Spain instead of saying that it originated in the 14th century
