Variety of stops and a fantastic tour guide Paulo C. Very informative and incredible scenery. Very little walking required and convenient drop off to and from accommodation. However the Minibus was quite cramped and air conditioning was poor so bring your own fan and some snacks. Overall would recommend and fantastic value for money.

We had a great time on this open top jeep tour. Our driver was great fun and took us to some stunning viewpoints. We also stopped off for a traditional Madeiran lunch as well as some rum tasting. One of the highlights was the off road driving and walking to the Balcoes viewpoint.

I highly recommend doing a walking tour when you visit a new city to really get a feel for the history and learn the little secrets that as a tourist you would be unaware of. It adds to the richness of your visit and this tour ticked all the boxes. Thankyou Dulcie for your informative, engaging tour. Excellent trip. Gabriel our guide was brilliant. Kept up well informed and brought us to some excellent viewing spots and we also stopped in a bar ip in the hills for a local poncha which was the best we had on our entire trip. We had such a good laugh on the trip. Really a good three hours spent.

What a fabulous way to experience beautiful Funchal. Our driver John was so helpful and friendly and took us to so many sights most tourists wouldn't see. He dropped us off at a great little bar to sample the local cuisine. The communication with the company was excellent. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful day and would like to thank Daria our tour guide . She was excellent and never rushed us as we were with our autistic son. And a big thank you to the lovely driver Calos for taking us on the tour and specially for bringing back my son’s power bank and charger that he had left in the bus . He was very happy to have it . This December my wife and I traveled to Madeira for our honeymoon. We knew that we wanted to get out in nature, but weren’t sure what hike to start with. We had a pretty basic checklist. It had to include waterfalls, beautiful views, and be a distance that wouldn’t leave us sore for the rest of our trip. This hike checked all of those boxes and more. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared interesting history about the levadas throughout the hike. It was immediately obvious how much he cared about land and wildlife conservation. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hike to anyone who asks.

Great communication from On Tales up through the morning of the cruise. Had about ten people on the boat during our 10:30 expedition - everybody fit more than comfortably. Beatriz and Bruno were friendly, knowledgeable and skilled and were very up front with the days conditions and expected sightings. Cruised off Calheta for a while chasing a few dolphins which we managed to see, although they were feeding at the time and not in a bigger school. Lovely ride across long, gentle waves along the scenic south coast. Stop near Porta Do Sol for some swimming and the place lived up to its name with the sun in full effect. Refreshments during the cruise and full access to all areas of the boat. Even with minimal dolphin and whale activity it was an exceptional day on the water. Highly recommended especially if you prefer a smaller group setting than the larger tourist boats!
