What a fabulous way to experience beautiful Funchal. Our driver John was so helpful and friendly and took us to so many sights most tourists wouldn't see. He dropped us off at a great little bar to sample the local cuisine. The communication with the company was excellent. Highly recommend.

The tuktuk which arrived for our Tukxi Tour was in desperate need of mechanical work to fix both the brakes and stalling problems. This continual stalling throughout the tour happened on Funchal;s steep and winding roads which made the whole experience very uncomfortable, despite the driver managing to eventually restart the tuktuk when it stalled. The screaming and grinding of the brakes throughout the tour made it impossible to hear what the guide was saying unless he physically turned around to speak loud enough to drown out the sound of the brakes. From what we experienced, I wouldn’t recommend this tour.

Margarida, our driver was EXCELLENT. She gave us wonderful understanding of the Island's history, economics, culture, and dynamics. As a local, she was able to answer all our questions with much insight. The tour hit as many top sites as was possible in a 90 minute tour.

We had an issue with pick up and operator blames google ref on Viator. I think a better route description would also help. Once aboard we were taken to the market a church and a garden left at each to explore alone. If asked questions our local guide was full of knowledge but little of it was offered freely. Shame as I am sure if he was not on his phone all day with other customers it would have been much better.

My husband and I had a great time with Daniella. She created a fun, quirky environment. The many “woohoo!” Moments going down the streets in the tukxi and the many stops were beautiful to take in. We loved that she asked so many questions as she explained the history, it felt like a game or a fun quiz and it made the information last. Thank you Daniella! We loved it!

Good communication with the company. Tour was fun and we got to see a good portion of the island. We did end up paying for an additional 90 minutes that we said was ok at the beginning of the tour, but it's cash (Euros) only! I would recommend this tour!

Tell guide your interests and they cater to you. Great way to see majority of Funchal.

This was an excellent tour with collection from the cruise terminal and optional return there if we wanted. Our driver was incredibly knowledgeable about Funchal and its history and the Tuksi was the perfect vehicle as it could access tiny lanes and courtyards etc. We really felt that we had seen most of Funchal and we chose to be dropped off in town by the Ritz Hotel, and walked back to thd ship after some exploring on foot. We highly recommend this tour.

Lovely trip around Funchal. The Tuk Tuk gets down the smallest streets. It’s was nice to see different places that you can visit later on your own.
This is a good trip for anyone disabled as we just sat in the Tuk Tuk was picked up at our hotel and dropped off. The lady that took us around was very knowledgeable and so nice. There is a view point that you can see over Funchal. We got out and took a short 3 minute walk to see better.

We had a great tour with Tukxi. Our guide, Nedia, was wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgable. We are a family with young children (5) and a teenager (14). Everyone enjoyed the trip and we got to see a lot of Funchal which would not have been possible on our own. Would recommend.
