Good tour led by friendly college student
It was a nice tour, led by a college student (not a local). She was friendly, provided lots of good info, and led our small group along a well constructed tour path. At the end, we got to try a small sampling a 4 Madeira wines, which was a nice treat. It took about 2 hours and the route was very easy with almost no steps or hills.

Get Heinrique/Eric as your guide and you'll have a blast!
Our guide, Heinrique/Eric was amazing! He is so funny and silly. His antics made the trip. He had such great rapport with everyone in the group and especially Dad. They got along like they'd been friends since grade school. Our tour guide was full of information, he shared not just the basics but all kinds of other information. We took the roads less travelled and had the inside view of how people on Funchal lived, worked, and played. Heinrique, Eric, made our trip! I am so happy that we made a new friend. Everyone enjoyed the diversity of the island but most of all we loved Eric and his antics! If you can request him I highly recommend him. He's the best!

Great tour of Madiera Island
Great tour of Madiera Island! Our driver was so accommodating and helped us navigate booking and experiencing the Tobaggan ride in a timely fashion, kept us in sight at the little fishing village and walked the ladies around the shopping area while the guys enjoyed a beer. He shared information about the local culture as we explored the area and was just a joy to be with.

One Day, one small slice of heaven on earth
It was a truly special day, the small group experience made it feel very personal, our guide Gino was warm friendly and engaging, he seemed very proud of the island, it’s heritage and traditions and seemed genuinely enthusiastic for us to experience the autonomy and authenticity of his home. Every place we visited he wanted to ensure we got the most out of the time we had. My only regret is we did not book more tours as this was on our last day.
