We offer pickup for clients staying in hotels and accomodation in Funchal from the old part fo the town untill Lido in the hotel areas . Other pleaces contact the agency . Pickups outside Funchal and Caniço needs to contact the agency to see availability The pick up may start up to 35/40 minutes before the activity depending where you are staying. We trie to be ponctual but depending on road works , wheater conditions, accidents , we may came 5/10 minutes late. Depending where you are staying you may need to walk 5 to 10 minutes to the meeting point. We do not offer pick-ups at the cruise terminal. The meeting point is in the Bus Stop of CR7/Pestana Hotel thats 1 km distance. We inform the pick up time and place to the clients 24/12Hours before the activity.

Mixed thoughts on this trip. You get a snapshot of lots of different places but some are better than others, we loved Camara de Lobos. For us, this looked like the best place and we would have loved to have spent more than 20 mins here. The skywalk at Cabo Girao is ok, a bit underwhelming. I was expecting it to be a bit bigger than what it was. Ribeira Brava was not bad, the fanal forest was also underwhelming. Maybe it’s something that looks better when the mist is present and low which it wasn’t whilst we were there. Porto Moniz was nice. We had lunch in the restaurant near the pools which was lovely and very reasonable, we didn’t swim but if you want to then you will love this place. The Brides Veil waterfall is ok but again, I’ve seen better. And there wasn’t really anything much to look at in Sal Vicente.
But the best thing about the tour was Marco who was amazing. Very funny and entertaining and so informative about Madeira, the history, its people, everything, we learnt so much from him.

Hello , the feedback section ist to rate the travel agency, if you haven't enjoyed the places we are not responsible for that. As you said, the guide was good. When you have booked the tour the timings as the itinerary as well where saying how long would you be stopping in every place. 3 stars to qualify our company is a little bitte harsh. We proud our selfs to have certified exelent guides and confortable minibuses , but there is nothing that we can do to chance the places of the island , that's what we have to offer !
Full Day Tour West Of Island with our guide Romero was an excellent day out. He was very thorough in explaining all the sights we were seeing and stopped at additional places se we could see more views of Madeira. The stops on the tour were all accompanied by a detailed explanation of what we would be seeing and an insight into the background of each place which was very welcome. We enjoyed all the stops along the tour but with the Porto Moniz stop being the only one we didn't get full value of for the only reason we aren't swimmers so didn't take full advantage of what looked like a fantastic location to have a dip. We also ignored Romero's advice regarding the restaurant to eat in and chose a very average overpriced tourist trap, we will listen to you next time . Overall it was an excellent trip and we wouldn't hesitate to book with Spot Madeira Travel the next time we come to Madeira. Many Thanks John & Jo

We had a great tour around West coast of Madeira with Marco. He was knowledgeable, polite and punctual and made the whole experience smooth and comfortable. The vehicle was clean and reliable. I recommend this tour to everyone who is coming to Madeiea first time!

The whole day was superb, we had Tony as our guide/Driver, he was very knowledgeable, funny and a very safe driver. A long day but you fit so much in,, so much to see and it wasn’t rushed, it was a nice relaxed tour. Would recommend.

A really great trip. Our guide, Robert, was very knowledgeable and imparted a wealth of information about Madeira. The tour was well-organised and ran to time and it was great to be in a small group. The stop at Porto Moniz was quite long if you didn't swim.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the island. Be prepared to learn a lot!! When you get out to the hike, the trail had very fine, red dirt that will get all over your shoes so best to bring tennis shoes to change into.

The whole trip was a great way to see various landscapes of Madeira west as he included so much in a single trip.

The tour was friendly and informative. We were given lots of time to do things on our own as well as all of the guidance we needed.
We had really nice tour around the west side of the island, Marco our tour guide was very knowledgeable and he really made the tour much better. I would highly recommend this to anyone

Despite the rain and rather rough weather, our west tour with Spot Madeira Travel turned out to be a really beautiful experience. I was travelling with my wife and my mother, and from the first moment we felt completely comfortable.
Our guide Marco was excellent. His explanations were fluent and multilingual — during the tour he switched naturally between English, German and French — and he shared a lot of information and entertaining stories about everyday life on Madeira, the island’s history, nature and even some economic facts. He also had an answer to almost every question we asked. Almost… except one. The answer to that one, apparently, is 2.5 million fish.
At one point the weather got so heavy that we couldn’t really stop at the Fairy Forest as planned. Marco immediately suggested a nice alternative stop, which worked out perfectly. Small moments like that showed how experienced and flexible the tour was.
Marco also mentioned that many of the tour operators and guides on Madeira know each other well and work together in a very friendly, almost family-like way. You can actually feel that harmony during the tours. And it seems Spot Madeira Travel has built exactly that kind of spirit into their team.
This was my third time on Madeira and it certainly won’t be the last. Next time we come back, we’ll very happily book another tour with Spot Madeira Travel.
Take the tour — I’m quite sure you won’t be disappointed.

Antoni was both the driver and tour guide. Very nice and professional and good sense of humor. The issue was the van. I probably had 7 inches from the edge of my seat to the next row. I’m 5’9” and I couldn’t get my left leg (non-aisle) leg comfortable due to lack of room.

Nevertheless if you enjoyed the tour and the guide one 2 stars feedback is very low only because of the van that we dont even can do nothing about . Customers need to be mindful in their reviews, as they can negatively impact the company's image, especially since companies often work hard to provide excellent service.
