Great Hikes with Dinarte
We took three different hikes with Dinarte during our week in Madeira. On each hike Dinarte provided exceptional guide services. He is extremely knowledgeable about the ecosystems and plant and bird life of the area. He was very safety conscious, made sure the group stayed together, and that we watched out for low hanging branches, and slippery steps. I highly recommend going with Dinarte for your hikes in Madeira.

Enjoyable Afternoon
The Tour of the Nun’s Valley is well worth the visit. A lovely short drive to a spectacular view point overlooking the valley. The stop in the Nun’s valley was brief, but enough time for a coffee and to take in the view. The stop in Câmara de Lobos was also interesting to have a Poncha.

Great tour with a great guide
Marco was a very informative tour guide. He provided us with great knowledge about east Madeira, especially the airport and its runway. His driving on steep roads was excellent. He kept us ahead of the rain most of the tour. I would recommend his tour to anyone.

A great way to spend an afternoon
Fab little tour of a gorgeous part of the island. Worth it for the views at the first stop alone. We also stopped at a lovely little cafe at the second stop and indulged in some chestnut treats, including cake and liqueur. Our guide was very friendly and informative. All in all, a great way to spend an afternoon.

Amazing
We had a wonderful day and would like to thank Daria our tour guide . She was excellent and never rushed us as we were with our autistic son. And a big thank you to the lovely driver Calos for taking us on the tour and specially for bringing back my son’s power bank and charger that he had left in the bus . He was very happy to have it . Thank you to Madeira adventure kingdom for an excellent service

Day trip in Madeira
A great way to see the island. Stops were well timed and the driver was very friendly and informative. We travelled with a small group in a minivan so did not have to wait for people returning to the vehicle at the various stops. It was a full days trip.

Great hike
Even though we had some rain whilst walking, it didn’t stop us enjoying the activity. Easy to follow route and there really is no need to have a guided tour. It was nice to be able to walk at our own pace.
There are a lot of steps, which can be abit slippery when wet, so sturdy, waterproof footwear is essential. A bonus of seeing the waterfalls when it has rained, is that they are more spectacular and the levadas were full too.

Wet and windy but worth it
It was a great hike but conditions were less than perfect!! High winds, rain and fog! It was freezing and we were not prepared for the cold and wet! We didn’t do PR1 as it was too windy and we couldn’t see a thing but we took the extra time coming down PR3, which was pretty cool, great views when the cloud and fog cleared. But no one warned us about the 5 streams you need to walk through!!
The cafe at the end was amazing - great food and comfy to rest!
Amazing adventure!
Also shoutout to Christiano, our driver, great guy! He said he’d done PR1 in worse weather haha!!

Not for the faint hearted but we loved it
Madeira is advertised as a beautiful island of mountains, sea, valleys and levadas coupled with beautiful scenery.
When researching how best to get a taste of all this we felt that tarmac roads and cushioned seats wouldn’t let us experience the true Madeira. Viator, through The Green Devils allowed us a true off road experience and we loved it. Thank you

An unmissable spectacular experience
This was a stunning walk with some of the most spectacular scenery I have ever come across. It was well led by Martha. It was only 4.3 miles but it's a steep ascent of more than 2000 feet, so isn't easy. There is an option to get transported for the most difficult part. I'm 78 and was able to climb it without a problem. The final section to the Stairway to Heaven is a bit narrow and is a steep up and down and needs approaching with caution if you suffer with vertigo. I found it exciting and the views were worth it - just stunning.

Exceptional experience!!!
It was a truly exceptional experience! Luca and Chiara were amazing! We learned so much about the island and the marine wildlife and the best part is that we saw incredibly rare whales and it was such a highlight of our honeymoon! I highly recommend!!

Great trip to the West. Of the Island
We expected it to be cold in the mountains it wasn't. Lot of great photo opportunities. Never felt we were pushed for time. Renato was an excellent guide, certainly knew everything about Maderia, very very informative. The mini bus was new and very clean, but a bit cramped if you had long legs.
