Fantastic tour. Diogo was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great morning, we even tasted fresh bananas courtesy of Diogo. In the afternoon we explored by ourselves with information we head learnt in the morning from Diogo. When finished we contacted him to pick us up. Highly recommend. Will be recommending him to everyone and if we come back will keep his number. Thank you

Diogo was very great and friendly from start to finish. We travelled with my daughter, and asked if a child seat could be provided and he brought one without any issue. She’s been so gentle and great with her all trip. Took us to beautiful places and told us so much about Madeira’s history. Has such great English well!

Great communication before the tour to arrange sites to see that we preferred. Bring cash for some of the stops as they only take cash, like Monte Toboggan and the cable cars.

Fabulous bespoke tour of the island. Ricardo was a brilliant and knowledgeable host who checked our trip preferences before we left. Picked up from our hotel and dropped back after we stopped and had a lovely lunch at our last destination. Highly recommended. Fabulous tour with Ricardo who made the day very relaxed and tailored the itinery and his information to be relevant to what we wanted to do and of interest to our teenage boys, giving some history on area, advising on nice local drinks and treats to try and clearly a very capable and experienced driver in the area and for steep winding road conditions. Diogo was a brilliant guide for our half day tour of the island. He arrived promptly and was so knowledgeable about all the places we visited 4 in all (from Funchal) and about the islands History. Diogo also speaks perfect English. All in all a highlight of our trip. We will be using Diogo again including airport transfers next time.

We had a wonderful time with our guide Tiago! He was friendly, professional, and so knowledgeable. He picked us up at the cruise terminal - no problem! We were able to customize our tour accordingly to what we wanted to see most. He was even able to help us pivot to a new plan when the toboggan ride was over a two hour wait. We appreciated his kindness and knowledge of Madeira. Recommend whole-heartedly if you want to see beautiful scenery and the best panoramic views!

What a great day with Manuel! He was informative and made the trip very personal. Was easy to find as we set our own pace. When we wanted a coffee, we sat down and had one. He got us to the wicker baskets fast so we avoided most of the crowds. He took us to a great restaurant on the north side. Just a perfect day and a great tour guide

First of all the Island of Madeira is absolutely stunning & our guide Diogo was amazing, incredibly personable, a true native of the Island, he knew just the perfect stops to take us, was extremely informative & made us feel comfortable & get such a real experience of the Island, not just ‘touristy’ stuff, even though we enjoyed some of that too! We had a fantastic time exploring Madeira with Ricardo. He met us, as arranged as we exited from the cruise terminal. We were kept informed prior to meeting. Ricardo spoke excellent English, was very presentable and his vehicle was spotless and comfortable. As it was Sunday he asked us what we wanted to do instead of the toboggan as it was closed. We had excellent commentary and found out a lot about life on Madeira. We would recommend this tour.

Diogo was extremely pleasant and helpful. He did his best to give us a wonderful day seeing some of Madeira’s beautiful places like the Nun’s Valley and Monte, the cliffs and Camara de Lobos. Diogo was amazing! He picked us up from our hotel and took us around to many of the highlights of the island. It was such an easy and comfortable way to explore. He knew just how to time it so we didn’t have to wait in line for the famed toboggan ride. We would highly recommend booking this experience. Diogo also offers tours of the west and east side of the island. He was an absolute pleasure and very knowledgeable.

Diogo our driver was so proud of where he lives. He took us on a 3 hour tour to anywhere we wanted to visit. We did the sled ride down the hill, village church (so picturesque), fishing village (had a snack), sky walk and scenery drive. Dropped us right back to the side of the ship. Diogo speaks fantastic English and we would highly recommend this tour to anybody. Well done Diogo.

We had no preconceived ideas about Madeira & he showed us why he loves it so much.
