First yacht in Fort Lauderdale was worth it.
Everything was fantastic from start to finish. If you read the instructions sent to you after booking, you’ll have no trouble finding the check-in locations and getting to your boat. We had a blast enjoying the water and the breezy weather. Although I got seasick, it was my fault. We took tons of great pictures from the trip. Joe was friendly and knowledgeable about Fort Lauderdale as a whole. If you’re also sensitive to motion sickness, I recommend taking some medication before you go. I wasn’t aware that we’d be sailing for about 30 minutes and got a slight headache. I appreciate the complimentary glass of champagne, but I regret not being able to drink it. We also saw some sea turtles making their way to the land to nest. I highly recommend this trip if you love the beautiful water and the natural surroundings.

Sandbar Fun
It’s very hard to find a boat to take you to hang in the sandbar that’s not a full boat charter for like $400. It was just the two of us and we didn’t need a lot of time. After a lot of looking I found this experience and booked right away. Two hours with 1 hour in the sandbar and a tour of the inter coastal which was great for my visiting friend. This is not a relaxing sail this is a turn up boat where guests queue music to play and hanging in the sandbar is often a turn up as well. We loved our friendly high energy group but this is something that will obviously vary with the sailings. Once on the sandbar you can get off the boat and walk away for some private time of course. Overall due to the price and difficulty of finding other sailings I’m happy.

Fort Lauderdale is synonymous with superyachts and opulent waterfront mansions, which are best seen by boat. Hop on a cruise with pirate games or dinner and show, then sit back and take in the city’s coastal landmarks. If you’d prefer to get away from it all, other Fort Lauderdale tours highlight nearby nature. Try fishing, snorkeling, or parasailing, or take a winding airboat ride through the grassy Everglades to spot alligators and manatees with a seasoned naturalist.
