Very Full Day Tour - Helsinki to Talinn!

This is a fantastic, very full day tour. There's an early pick up to make the ferry to Talinn. The ferry is *huge*. And there's not a lot of seating (at least during Easter week). So we beelined for a room in the 8th deck to grab seats. In Talinn, we had plenty of time to go around and explore. Once the tour was done we had another few hours to eat lunch and explore more before the 2.25 hour ferry back. The ferries are very punctual and boarding closes 30 minutes before.

This is one of the best...

This is one of the best day in our one-month Nordic trip. The weather was perfect, very sunny and cool. The forest was both gray and green, with icy and running stream. Breaktaking view of the frozen lake. Wood choping was a brand new experience for us - people from the big cities. Patricia cooked good lunch, and her berry juice was super delicious. It was the best drink we had in Finland. Her recommendation about chocolade was helpful. It was a relaxed hike, so we had a lot of chances for pictures. You should bring your own paper tissue, as the bio toilets had no facilities.

This was an amazing...

This was an amazing excursion and highlight of our trip. We went through the frozen lake and forest to reach a reindeer farm. We stopped for warm drinks and a tasty donut before meeting the reindeer. Then we made our way back. It was beautiful seeing the different landscapes. Our guide was wonderful and made it an experience we won’t forget!

There’s a good mix of walking and sightseeing from the van. Dress in layers depending on the weather. We didn’t get a lunch break - too much to see. There were a couple of places I wish we could have stopped but didn’t. Oh well. All in all a very good tour. It was a good use of time with only a couple of days in Helsinki.

Tiring day but worth the effort

Was sceptical about booking this tour as it's a 50-50 chance but saw the reviews and went ahead with it anyways. I badly wanted to see the Northern Lights and of course capture a photo in person. Glad it all came true. Paul and SK were amazing throughout the tour and the bus driver too. Took all the effort to take us to Sweden as Finland was cloudy and we saw the Northern Lights exactly as advertised. Could only get the green aura but then can't ask for more after 4 hours of travel and hunting. Gave us hot coffee in the office initially and then took the perfect pictures for our social medias. Paul and SK were very enthusiastic and took multiple photos of everyone to feel better. It was the perfect tour and happy it all came down so well. Would recommend you all to book the tour as even though it says it's chancy, rest assured, it's a 90% chance of being successful as the tour group goes all in and takes every effort to make it come true. 10 hour Aurora hunt into Swedish Lapland!

The trip was PERFECT! we were very disappointed our first trip with another company was cancelled the day before, booked the small group trip with Lapin Tavias. And was loosing hope becuase of severe cloud cover, our guide Rasa drove us all the way into Swedish Lapland to find a clear sky! And when the Aurora arrived it was amazing! Even my iPhone camera was able to pick up the lights! Rasa took incredible photos and was brilliant. His enthusiasm for chasing the lights was infectious. And true to their promise, our 10 hour round trip was worth every minute. On the way back Rasa detected another aurora explosion and he stopped and got all of us to have another set of photos. The hot drink and sandwich was a lovely touch. The company had excellent communication from booking to WhatsApp message of the pick up times, drivers name and photo links. We would highly recommend this company and specifically our guide Rasa!

Unforgettable, best memory ever!

Had THE most amazing time snowmobiling with Nacho today. I (28) went with my mum (60) and we both had the best time and want to do it again! Nacho was an excellent teacher, kind, patient and funny and taught us all we needed to know as first time snowmobilers. His confidence showed us we were in safe hands! Most amazing experience!

This was the most incredible experience and the highlight of our Lapland trip. Staff were all wonderful and the huskies were clearly well loved and cared for. We even got to see the husky puppies which was very special! First, Dimitar arrived to drive us to the kennels. He was kind, polite and easy to talk to. Next we were taught how to drive the sleigh and what to do. We then had a thrilling 10km ride around the forest. It was the most amazing experience and huskies were all beautiful!

Highlight of my trip!

Loved this excursion! The meeting spot was easy to find. Our driver/guide was friendly and helpful. The reindeer park was very authentic and our guide there was genuine and experienced. The husky ride was a bit commercial but was such a cool experience regardless. The whole tour just the right amount of time, and not too strenuous. It was a small group size (there were 5 of us) so it felt more personal.

Beautiful and charming town to visit

Porvoo is a charming and picturesque town, perfect for a relaxing visit. Its colorful wooden houses, cobblestone streets, and iconic red riverside warehouses make the Old Town especially beautiful. There are plenty of cozy cafés, small shops, and scenic corners to enjoy as you wander. Our guide, Darius, was very knowledgeable about the area, patiently explaining the town’s history and giving us plenty of time to explore on our own. Porvoo is a small town filled with character and heritage, and it’s definitely worth adding to your Finland itinerary.
