Great Experience and Amazing Guide, Thank you Rita!

My husband and I participated in the 2 hour tour of the Acropolis and neighbouring sites. Margarita (Rita), our tour guide, was absolutely amazing. As an archeologist she has a wealth of knowledge about Greek history. She shared wonderful and detailed information on all the sites we visited and was fun and very interactive with everyone on the tour. Make sure to arrive early as time slots for the Acropolis entry have a 15 minute window and the tour will leave without you if you are late. Rita was very conscious of the heat and would explain all the details of each site in the shade where we had a clear view of the monument. She would expertly navigate the crowds and provide us with opportunities to take lovely photos as we walked by each site. We went 9:30am on a Saturday in June (peak season) and there were a lot of crowds due to cruise ships. Try to go earlier if possible. Be prepared for a bit of a walk, if you have issues with heat or mobility I would recommend you take caution. We had an amazing time and would recommend this tour without hesitation.

The day was great! Gianluca was a great tour guide. He kept us on track, was kind and entertaining, and very instructional. Would absolutely recommend to anyone! The places we went were all wonderful and great places to visit. I recommend the add-on for lunch at the winery and the Pisa tower climb.

Largest Church in the World

Tons of history from a great guide. You learn so much about these historic areas that you would never have known otherwise. I'm not a huge fan of paintings so some of those parts were kind of dull but do love the architecture and sculptures you get to see.

Excellent tour, Marco was awesome!

EXCELLENT guide! Marco was an excellent teacher and entertaining, even for my two teens. Very knowledgeable. We did this tour noon after arriving at midnight from CA, so almost 24 hrs traveling. I was worried we would be too jet lagged to enjoy it and pay attention, but Marco’s skill as a guide kept us awake, involved and laughing. Highly recommend!

The experience was like...

The experience was like no other. We met at a ticket office right around the tower, then heading to the elevators. Everything was neatly organized and in no time we were on the second level and even the top. The tour was designed for a basic introduction to the tower and then free time to explore on our own which my family enjoyed. Thank you!

Louvre Museum guided Tour

A tour of the Louvre Museum is a must when visiting Paris. A little rocky start to the tour as the museum staff were protesting conditions at the museum (over crowding) and delayed the opening by 1 1/2 hours. However, we eventually got in and our guide did a good job of giving people the option to leave after 1 hour for a full refund or stay and wait it out. It was so enjoyable to see and listen to the stories behind many of the art works within. While it was fantastic seeing the Mona Lisa it's so crazy busy, I'm not sure I'd do that again. Overall a very good tour, would recommend.

Incredible tour, would book again!

Our tour guide Francesca was incredible. Very knowledgeable and super friendly. She was very accommodating allowing us to stop or detour as needed e.g. bathroom breaks, allowed us input into where we would like to go to get as much in as possible. Took us to a lovely sunset spot and some amazing places. It was nighttime going from 8pm to 11pm and it was brilliant, cooler temperature and fewer crowds. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone first time or return visitor. It's a great way to see everything and decide what you want to go back to. Thank you.

Great tour with Gemma

We enjoyed our tour with Gemma at Tours for Today, she was fantastic. It was easy getting to the meetup spot, getting in with no line and the tour was the perfect amount of time. We were able to explore on our own afterward. We had two teenagers with us and they enjoyed it too, and they are the world’s toughest critics. The headphones were critical and much appreciated. We were glad we took an early tour before it got too hot because a lot of the tour focuses on the intricate exterior. Thanks so much, Gemma!

Silvia (greatest tour guide ever)

Our tour guide Silvia was the best tour guide I’ve ever had. I can not say enough good thing absolutely her. Her passion for her job and teaching people of the history of this amazing area was a beautiful thing to be apart of. I would do every tour with her if this was possible once again cannot recommend enough. Such a thoughtful lady and made our tour so much better by being there.

Definitely worth getting a tour guide for a small group experience

So glad we had a guide to explain everything and take us through the museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica. It would have been very confusing without a guide. It was nice being able to go through certain pathways only available to groups with your guides. It felt like it all went very smoothly. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful.

Our tour guide was very kind and informative. She was good at making sure everyone stuck together and was keeping up, as it was a very fast paced tour with so much to see. She also let us know to keep up to ensure we didn’t miss out on St. Peter’s Basilica since we had a late afternoon tour and it would be closing soon. She was very detailed and efficient at her job!

Expensive but excellent

I know, this is not a cheap option but you do get what you pay for. The tour ran like a Swiss timepiece, but we were not rushed. Our tour guide was very informative and pointed out things I had never noticed before on my previous visits. Don’t skip the air conditioned museum at the end of the tour. It was incredibly informative and made me go back inside to see some things.
