- It is difficult to anticipate when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. Typically, major attractions experience long queues during peak travel periods such as summer, weekends, Christmas, Easter, and local holidays. By purchasing a skip-the-line ticket, you can bypass the queue if there happens to be one. Unfortunately, it is impossible to predict specific days and times when lines are likely to form.
- To ensure safety, all visitors are required to pass through metal detectors at the security checkpoint. Please anticipate a wait time of approximately 20-30 minutes to clear security.
- In order to enter the Sagrada Familia Basilica, visitors are expected to dress appropriately as it is a Catholic church. Tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts, or sandals are not permitted. Additionally, visitors are not permitted to enter the church wearing clothing intended for celebrations or festivities.
- Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
- Customers must bring an ID to prove their age. If you cannot show the correct proof of age, Sagrada Familia will not allow entry, and you won't be able to get a refund.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 30 travelers

We went with a group of four and none of us felt it was worth the money. The inside of church is cool but not worth the $85 pp. Could see a lot for free from outside. The guide was difficult to understand because of his accent and poor quality audio equipment. He had his set routine and left no time for questions.

This tour was a combination where the initial part of the tour through Sagrada Familia was guided who gave us a very thorough explanation of the genius who was Gaudi, a man far ahead of his time. The beauty of the tour was that after the guide was finished, we had free rein to explore the facility on our own, at our own pace.

We had a wonderful experience visiting the Sagrada Família. Our guide Olga E. Was amazing! She provided so much detail about Gaudi and the building of the church. I highly recommend booking your guide with her. The Sagrada is one of the most beautiful churches I’ve ever been in! You must go!

I use Viator frequently and have had consistently positive experiences with tour operators, which is why this situation stood out.
Unfortunately, this company was not flexible or accommodating when we ran into an issue. We provided approximately 13 hours’ notice that 2 out of 4 people in our reservation were delayed due to flight disruptions and asked to reschedule just those two. While this was short of their 24-hour policy, it was still meaningful advance notice. In my experience, many operators will at least try to work with you in these situations, whether through a rescheduling fee, partial credit, or some form of goodwill. In this case, they declined without offering any alternatives, even though there appeared to be availability on Viator over the following days.
Additionally, the two members of our group who were able to attend arrived approximately five minutes late, and the tour had already departed, with no attempt to contact us, assist, or provide options to join.
Despite these circumstances, the company retained the full ~$400 charge and made no effort to reschedule any portion of the booking.
I fully respect that policies exist, but what differentiates strong operators is how they handle real-life travel disruptions. In this case, the lack of flexibility and customer care was disappointing.

Our tours operate under strict scheduling and entry conditions set by the attraction, which require all participants to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time. As the tickets are managed as a group entry, once the tour has begun, it is unfortunately not possible to accommodate late arrivals or allow entry without the guide.
Regarding your request to reschedule part of the group, we understand your situation. However, as per the policies in place, any changes must be requested at least 24 hours in advance, and we’re unable to make exceptions within a shorter timeframe.
We truly regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. Your feedback is important to us and will be taken into consideration as we continue to improve our service.

Our guide, Jorge, was pleasant and very knowledgeable. It was also very helpful that we were able to get to the front of the line because it was hot standing in the sun, and there were large crowds waiting in lines. La Familia Sagrada was absolutely stunning inside as well as the exterior details. If you are in Barcelona, you should book with this company!

It's been a dream to see the Sagrada since I learned about it in Art History, and what a dream come true it was. Gaudí's Sagrada is probably the most stunning architectural work I've ever seen! We did an afternoon tour (2:30 p.m.), and I loved how the afternoon sun hit the stained glass inside the cathedral. It was very helpful to have the headphones so we could hear everything our tour guide said. I also appreciate getting a foundation of the cathedral's history and Gaudí's design choices so I could appreciate it more fully after the tour concluded and we were able to spend more time on our own exploring. We also spent a lot of time in the museum portion, taking in all of the artifacts and models. I highly recommend blocking off multiple hours—believe me, you'll want it!

Excellent! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and had a nice sense of humor. I loved the fact that Viator provided an address and map for the meeting point (which happened to be a souvenir shop). Definitely allow about 30 minutes to locate meeting point and look at the outside of the cathedral

While we appreciated the skip-the-line aspect of the tour, Sagrada Família is worth the wait. There is so much information that can enhance the visual experience, and our guide, Anna, provided those “extras.” As a native of Barcelona, she was able to share tidbits not found in so much of the readily available information. I wish the tour time was longer (it felt shorter than the scheduled time), but we were able to stay in the Basilica after the tour to extend the experience.

We got last minute tickets with a tour guide and were expecting it to be blah just wanted to see the cathedral. And boy we were happy we got the guide. Manu our guide was very very good. She spoke slowly didnt get into many unnecessary details our whole family loved the tour. Highly recommend - if we went ourselves we would miss a lot of details and interesting information. The whole experience was easy from start to finish.
