Ashley_C, Mar 2026
London Town!!!! My cousin and I had the best time on this tour!! We saw beautiful sites, took amazing pictures and had the best day!

The bus is nothing...

Anthony_S, Mar 2026
The bus is nothing special and the audio does not provide that much information. It’s seems to focus on shopping areas. If you’re looking for ways to get around the city to all the sites this is a good way. Otherwise I recommend skipping this and using the tube.

Not worth it, get a taxi

Amber_B, Mar 2026
Moved very slow and didn’t go the route as planned. We missed seeing the big attractions. Very over priced for the experience.

Great way to see a city

Sara_L, Mar 2026
Wonderful way to see a city. Our buses were very clean and the narration was easy to understand. Fun and informative!

Great way to get around London

Stacey_H, Mar 2026
The big bus was a fast and effective way of getting around London and seeing the sights . Plenty of buses and never had to wait more than 20 minutes at any stop . The additional river cruise was the cherry on top , so much fun .

Not bad but could have got away with just walking or taking public transport

Sasha_P, Mar 2026
The first day we went, we asked for the red line but the guide put us on a blue line bus. It wasn't great. We were squished in the bus, standing, since the weather was poor. The second day we had sun and managed to sit up top, and we got on the correct bus for the red line. That was definitely worth it, though the audio on the bus was trash so we didn't get to listen to the actual tour information.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Hi Sasha! Thank you for your review. We're sorry that the audio system wasn't working on one of our buses, and understand the impact this can have on your tour. We've made efforts to upgrade our tech across our global fleets, and we'd love the chance to welcome you aboard and share a new city with you one day soon! Ana from Big Bus Tours.

Well worth the cost!

Jodi_S, Mar 2026
We went on the three tours included in our 48 hour Hop on Hop off ticket - Royal Walk, Jack the Ripper, and Harry Potter and were fortunate enough to have tour guide Kevin for all of them. He is an absolutely fabulous guide who made sure we had front row viewings on the Royal Walk, and was very well prepared with information on each tour. Would highly recommend these tours, and lucky you if you get Kevin as your guide. We also went on the Thames river cruise and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the city from that perspective. The onboard staff were great!

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Hi Jodi_S. We wish to thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the tours included in your booking, especially thanks to Kevin who enhanced your time spent with us in London. We hope to have you back soon. Best, Vlad from Big Bus Tours.

Carol_T, Mar 2026
Inexpensive way to see major sites. Some delays with traffic and driver change. River cruise was delightful.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Hello Carol! Thank you for your wonderful review. We're thrilled to learn that you would recommend us and that you enjoyed the river cruise. We look forward to seeing you again soon! Best, Ana from Big Bus Tours.

Great day

Pamela_P, Mar 2026
Great way to see the city and many of the historical sites. The Blue Route covers the most ground. Would recommend.

Skipped stops and diverted routes with no warning.

Ruth_O, Mar 2026
Although they have an app, you couldn't track when a bus was due to arrive at your stop. We waited an hour before giving up and trying to find another stop. There is no way to know if bus is delayed or diverted. We lost 2 hrs of time on that one stop. Then got to Stop 1 and bus stopped and said there would be a delay for a driver change. We sat for over 15 minutes with no idea where our driver was or when a new driver would arrive. Was not very happy with the service. All Hop on hop off tours do the same route and arrive about the same time.

It's just okay.

Wendy_M, Mar 2026
The options for the bus were good, but we noticed that this tour seemed to be the only one fully crammed with people and no seats left. Other buses seemed half empty. I wish we had known that this tour seemed to get everyone, since we had a few times that the bus had to drive past our stop without picking anyone up, since there wasn't even standing room left. The drivers were all nice, and did their best. They just need either more buses or to work with the other companies to share the load better.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Hi Wendy_M, Thank you for taking your time to write your feedback! We are very sorry that the large number of passengers created discomfort. Buses may reach full capacity during peak seasons, and seat availability cannot be guaranteed. We really hope that you will consider giving us another try in the future! Best wishes. Cristian T, Big Bus Tours

Do not use Big Bus Tours in London!

Kevin_H, Mar 2026
Awful experience. Waited over an hour for a bus to show up for the red line. In that time, there were three blue line buses that showed up. Ruined our afternoon tour of London. I do not suggest this particular company. There were plenty of other tour bus companies running as we were waiting.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Hi Kevin_H, Thank you for your feedback! We apologize for the long wait time! There may have been some closures or traffic on the red line. We hope that you will consider giving us another try in the future, as we are sure you would have a better time! Best wishes. Cristian T, Big Bus Tours

Hop on hop off is a great...

Rian_C, Mar 2026
Hop on hop off is a great way to see a new place without exhausting yourself! And all of the staff is knowledgeable about how to get around, where to grab a bite to eat, etc.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Hi Rian! We appreciate your wonderful feedback. It's great to know that our tours offered you an excellent opportunity to explore a new destination. We look forward to seeing you again soon! Ana from Big Bus Tours.

Waste of a day it spoiled my whole weekend

Kay_G, Mar 2026
Between road works and demonstrations the bus kept going off route ..we missed so much .what a waste of the day

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Hi, Kay_G! We would like to offer our deepest apologies for the fact that you missed so much of your tour due to the road works and demonstrations. You can reach us on email contact form on our website, or on Live Chat 24 / 7, and we can help you with your complaint. We hope to have you will give our tours another try! Have a great day! Okay overall, the blue...

Casey_M, Mar 2026
Okay overall, the blue line and red line overlap a lot and you end up seeing a lot of the same stops. I didn't have a chance to take the green line. As well the night tour was boring. It was just the same redline route just at night. I thought it would be different and the river tour was ver short.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Hello Casey! We appreciate your feedback. It's great to know you enjoyed your time overall, but we're sorry to hear that the night tour didn't meet your expectations and that the river tour felt brief. We look forward to seeing you again, whether in another city or the same one. Best, Ana from Big Bus Tours.

Hop on and off at leasure

Brenda_B, Feb 2026
Is a great way to visit different places in one day and more when you can hop on and off again & again

Response from Host, Feb 2026

Hi Brenda_B, we are really happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour in London and that the hop-on hop-off feature was a plus as well! We can't wait to have you back on board again! See you soon - Alexa B @ Big Bus

Choose Carefully

Tammy_J, Feb 2026
I chose one day because it said 1 day from when you start. This is different from 24 hours. The options should really be 12, 24, 48 hours. The wording was misleading.

Response from Host, Feb 2026

Hi Tammy_J, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about the ticket validity confusion. These are very clear specified on our website and on each ticket description. While we have a 24h ticket, we do also have just a One day ticket. We hope to have you on board again one day soon! Best, Denisa from Big Bus Tours

Not worth it

Elyse_A, Feb 2026
I do not recommend purchasing your tickets to the Big Bus tour through Viator, if at all. The tour operator did not respond to any of my messages regarding the excursion. Due to the unresponsiveness, we did not get to go on the bus at all, and were not even offered a refund. I feel very ripped off given these tickets were not cheap (and included a boat tour we did not receive either). Take your business elsewhere!

Response from Host, Feb 2026

Hi Elyse_A, Thank you for your feedback! We are very sorry to hear that you haven't received a response, as we understand this might have created frustration. You can always contact us directly via live chat on our website, as we are there 24/7 for you. Please do not hesitate to contact us regarding this incident, so we can make things right! We really hope that you will consider giving us another try in the future! Best wishes. Cristian T, Big Bus Tours

Great Experience

alex_m, Feb 2026

Hi alex_m, Thank you for your feedback! We are glad to hear that you always have so much fun when you join our tour! We are committed to continuous training for our team to guarantee you receive exceptional service. We can’t wait to welcome you back soon! Best regards, Cristian T, Big Bus Tours

Save your money, do the actual Red bus tour

Monica_B, Feb 2026
The people working for the bus tour were very nice and helpful, but there weren’t nearly enough buses running. We spent a lot of time waiting around in the cold. We didn’t make it to our main goal, which was Notting Hill because we were waiting so long in between bus arrivals. We also ended up taking an Uber from the Kensington Palace stop to the London eye because we had a tour at 1:00. We were waiting around and the bus never came. The big red bus had several buses coming by constantly and we were waiting and waiting for our buses to arrive. They claimed it was the time of year, but that wasn’t fair to us, I feel. I would not recommend this bus tour at this time of year.

Response from Host, Feb 2026

Hi Monica_B, Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us! We are very sorry to hear that the wait time cause so much frustration! The frequency of our buses may be affected by traffic conditions, leading to possible delays. We recommend using the Live Tracking feature in our app to assist you in planning your route for the day. We really hope that you will consider giving us another try in the future, as we are sure you would have a better time! Best wishes. Cristian T, Big Bus Tours

A Brilliant Way to Explore London

Rachel_N, Feb 2026
Big Bus was a brilliant way to see London. We were able to sit back and enjoy all the iconic sights and monuments without worrying about navigating the city. From Big Ben, Tower Bridge and the London Eye, it covered all the must-see spots. The commentary was informative and entertaining, and it gave us a great overview of London in a short amount of time. Perfect for getting your bearings and soaking up the city.

Response from Host, Feb 2026

Hello Rachel_N. Thank you for your feedback! It truly brings us joy to hear that you had a fantastic experience. We look forward to welcoming you back soon! Warm regards, Razvan from Big Bus Tours

City River cruise was...

Susan_F, Jan 2026
City River cruise was great. Courteous and knowledgeable staff. Snacks and drinks on board great way to see London. Big Bus hop on hop off started out well with friendly, helpful staff and ear buds to listen to the audio tour. Then about three quarters of the way through the employee at the stop left and no bus showed up. Three other tour operators’ buses came by two or three times and still no Big Bus. I ended up walking and using the Underground for the rest of my day. Disappointing for sure.

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Hello Susan! Thank you for your review. We're sorry that the wait times impacted your trip. As we tend to operate in big cities, occasionally traffic can let us down. We recommend using the Live Tracking feature on our app to help plan your route on the day. You can always contact us via live chat and our team will be more than happy to assist you. We hope to see you on a Big Bus Tour again soon! Ana from Big Bus Tours.

Too costly for too little

Barbara_L, Jan 2026
No bus schedule and could not get home from the western part of route. The narration on the 2 legs we WERE able to “hop on” was just fine, and we wished the busses could be more frequent and reliable. Overall- way too expensive for 2 short bus trips.

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Hi Barbara, thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a review! We sincerely apologize that the wait times had a negative impact on your trip; as we tend to operate in large cities, there are occasions when traffic can unfortunately let us down. We highly recommend utilizing the Live Tracking feature available on our app to assist you in planning your route on the day of your travel. We truly hope to see you on a Big Bus Tour again in the near future! Best regards, Anca from Big Bus

Stonehenge, Windsor Bath and Lacock

Paul_D, Jan 2026
Our tour guide, Eugene was the absolute best. He was very knowledgeable of all the sites and answered every question with facts and dates.

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Hi Paul_D, thank you for the great review. We are happy to hear that Eugene was so professional and knowledgeable. We hope to have you on board again one day soon! Best, Denisa from Big Bus Tours

So good

Janet_S, Jan 2026
Worth every penny saw so much of London drivers so friendly and helpful. The busses were frequent with no waiting

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Hi Janet! We appreciate your review. We are happy to hear that you had a lovely time and we hope to see you soon! Ana from Big Bus Tours.

Waste of money

Brittany_H, Jan 2026
We booked this to make it easier for my partner to see everything as he has cancer. Initially, the first bus took off 10 minutes late from the first stop (a terminal). I downloaded yet another app to ensure I could keep track of where buses were. The bus skipped the stop we were waiting at even though the app said “11-14 minutes away”. I then noticed that the bus looked like it skipped us and it had indeed. Apparently around the time of the change of guard they don’t go through there which is fine, had the app said the bus wasn’t coming at the time and tracking along the route?! Staff at the stop then told us to walk to multiple other stops and then we still had to wait another 30minutes everytime. The app doesn’t show accurate times. Better to figure the journey out yourselves. In 2 hours we caught one bus for a total of 20 minutes as after our first “hop off” it was impossible to hop back on it seems. We ended up catching the tube and seeing the sites ourselves. Incredibly disappointed and a waste of money, also been denied a refund so don’t waste your money on this experience, catch the tube and do it yourself.

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Hi Brittany_H. We are sorry for the inconvenience you experienced on your tour. We will address these concerns with our team to provide a more enjoyable experience for all our customers. Thank you for informing us of this matter. Best regards. Razvan, Big Bus Tours

Horrible customer service- left a family stranded in the cold.

Jeco4_A, Jan 2026
Worst experience we had in London!! Do NOT do one of these tours. This company left a family of 5 stranded in the London freezing weather as we waited for 45 minutes for the bus to come pick us up at their required spot (#13) near the London Eye. Noone showed up so we were forced to spend more money for a cab to get us home. I placed a formal request for a refund and it was denied. Unbelievably poor customer service. Do NOT waste your money!!!

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Hello Jeco4_A. Thank you for expressing your thoughts to us! We sincerely regret to learn that you did not enjoy the bus tour, as we can understand how disappointing this must have been. Could you please contact us directly so we can look into this matter for you? We genuinely hope you will consider giving us another opportunity in the future, as we are confident you would have a more enjoyable experience! Best regards. Razvan, Big Bus Tours

This was a great quick...

Andrea_B, Dec 2025
This was a great quick way to see lots of parts of the city. I like the recorded info they have for you on the bus.

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Hi Andrea_B, Thank you for your feedback! We are happy that you had the chance to see the city, and that you had a great time! We offer regular training to our staff, to make sure you always receive a 5* service. We can't wait to have you back on one of our buses again! Best wishes. Cristian T, Big Bus Tours

Electronic ticket not good enough to get back on if you get off the bus!

Laurie_M, Dec 2025
We had electronic tickets and when we got on the bus we were given a paper ticket. We got off the bus at one point to see a sight and when we went to get back on, the paper ticket had gotten caught by the wind and was gone. The bus drivers would not let us on and said we could only use the paper ticket, even though they had scanned the electronic one earlier. I spoke with the “hosts” at the stop as well as the bus driver. They said we would have to buy more tickets. This seems like a ridiculous scam and I am sure it happens probably daily that people misplace their paper tickets. What is the point of having an electronic ticket to scan if it can’t be tracked? So due to this we did not get to see all we wanted to see and had the added expense of Ubers to get to our main desired destination and back to our starting point. My husband and I were travelling with my elderly parents and mobility is an issue as well. This was the solution we had for our short visit to London and in the end was very disappointed by the customer service. I think for being 2025, the technology is there to have made this a much better transaction and experience. Again it felt like a scam or ploy to get more money from us. Very disappointed Viator.

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Hi Laurie_M, Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us! We are very sorry to hear that you couldn't get back on our buses, as we understand why this must have been upsetting. If the tickets are printed, they can only be used if you still have the paper tickets. We do this to prevent many people using the same ticket. However, if you add your ticket in the Big Bus Tours app, you can use it digitally only, as it will not need to be printed. We really hope that you will consider giving us another try in the future, as we are sure you would have a better time! Best wishes. Cristian T, Big Bus Tours

Crowded and loud

Cici_F, Dec 2025
Well, I visited London during Christmas and took this bus on December 24th, 2025. The City was sooo crowded and cold that we couldn't seat upstairs in the open. The audio/ commentaries were not synchronized so, we ended up listening to music, most of the time with a huge delay...not understanding what they were commenting on. Im not sure how they work or operates through rest of the year but, not satisfactory during Christmas season

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Hi Cici_F, Thank you for your feedback! We are very sorry that you did not enjoy our service due to the large number of guests, and we apologize for the issues with the audio system. We really hope that you will consider giving us another try in the future, as we are sure you would have a better time! Best wishes. Cristian T, Big Bus Tours
