Beautiful church. The colors, the lights, the achitecture. Jose was great! So knowledgeable with a great sense of humor!

I loved this tour. The guide we had was knowledgeable and entertaining. The cathedral was beautiful and if we come back to Barcelona, I will go there again. If you can handle the stairs, I highly suggest the tower tour.

Professionalism and very knowledgeable guide. She ensured that everyone received the information and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the tour.

The Sagrada Família church is beautiful but this tour left a lot to be desired. Too many people crowded and the tour guide was very nice but spoke too much and struggled with keeping all participants engaged. Beware the steps coming down are not for those who fear heights. Very narrow steps on the way down. Julia Travel was not a company I would recommend. The service in their office was poor to say the least and staff were rude and not friendly. Julia Travel cancelled multiple tours and left tourists from out of the country without options and showed no empathy or concern. Even when the staff agreed that they felt it was wrong to cancel, they left no options to help the travelers. Additionally, one male gentleman was so rude.
I do not recommend this tour. Book directly with Sagrada Família and avoid Julia Travel. They seem to be the worst agency in town.

We booked a tower access visit to Sagrada Família and when it was time to checking at Julía Travel, they told us that “due to a technical issue in the system “ this portion was not available. This was not communicated ahead of time. This was going to be the highlight of our Barcelona trip so it was extremely disappointing.

Expect a lot of great and interesting detail on Sagrada Família, Gaudi, and how Barcelona was in the late 19th and early 20th century. Highly recommend! Emilio our tour guide was very passionate about Gaudi and inspired us to see other Gaudi works in the city. We saw the towers and you have to be prepared to walk up and mostly down steps in narrow spaces.

First time going to Barcelona and honestly it was very informative and interesting. Albert was very knowledgeable and nice!! Definitely recommend if going for the first time.
ANDREEA_G, Jul 2026
Julia travel very low customer service. I will not recommend. If you have issues they do not offer options and you lose your money.

It was hard to understand the guide. Sagrada Família is beautiful but was hard to understand the guide

The experience got canceled and I wasn't made aware of the cancelation until I showed up to the designated 'meet up' location (I arrived 45 minutos before the tour was scheduled to begin). The Viator agents/representatives informed everyone (day of the tour) all tours were canceled due to a special architect conference being held there. Granted, this special event wasn't a pop up event. I found out this event was scheduled months in advance. So in other words Viator sold me (and many others) tickets to a tour which was NEVER going to happen (due to this scheduled closure/ special event). So many of us wasted valuable time and money (hotel, UBER, other expenses, etc) only to be heartbroken about not being able to see this amazing Basilica. On top of that, I have to wait days, if not weeks, before I see my refund. I'm very disappointed in Viator. They had the obligation to be aware of closures, they should have notified everyone of the closure as soon as they found out, and most importantly they should have made some attempt to mitigate this HUGE inconvenience. Especially because I use their services several times every year. Do better next time Viator!

We booked with Julia’s Travel months in advance to find out “the day of” that we were not on their roster. We paid over $462.00 for a family trip. When they finally conceded, they penciled us in at 12:00 noon and not our scheduled time of 11:00 a.m (as noted on our reservation voucher).
Finally, what we did get was a history lesson of 45 minutes and not the 2 hrs - as promised. Lastly, it is best to purchase tickets directly from the Sagrada Família Website for $27.00 PP and not $93.00 PP. Not worth buying tickets from this agency. So disappointed.

What an amazing tour. The guide Miguel is personal and passionate. Learned so much about the cathedral. Highly recommend.

Lots of people. Have to keep moving during the tour. Sometimes hard to hear and hard to understand when the guide talked fast with his strong accent. The Guide was dressed very informally (long shorts and t-shirt), and unfortunately, at the beginning of the tour, I judged that he may not do a good job. However, he spoke passionately about the Basilica and its history and did a wonderful job!
Melissa_M, Jun 2026
Very cool to see but book early, in order to see the views from the tower I had to book the tour in Spanish so did not understand a word!
Robert_K, Jun 2026
The tour guide with Julia Travel gave an excellent tour of the Sagrada. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Enjoyed the experience immensely.
Anastasia_K, Jun 2026
Horrible experience! Viator should be accountable and support their customers when they give multiple tohr companies there communication details, because of this we missed our tour
Joe_R, Jun 2026
It was an overwhelming feeling of awe when entering! A must see! Our tour guide, Oriole, was great! We learned so much more about the history and construction.
JohnCary_R, Jun 2026
Wonderful tour guide and very well organized!! Sagrado Familia is most beautiful place ever... Architectural Marvel. MAGNIFICO!!
John_R, Jun 2026
The tour is wonderful; however, expect crowds. It is Great to get first hand knowledge of the 100+ year history of the construction, as it provides context for each part.
Jennifer_M, Jun 2026
Omar was very informative! The tour took us all throughout the main area inside and out of the Basilica.
Amelia_A, Jun 2026
Come in The morning at 9am no crowds inside and outside, best time to take pictures.
Stay after tour so you can take time to appreciate Gaudi’s genious creation.
Deborah_D, Jun 2026
We were 5 minutes late and they wouldn’t let us in - lost $380!!! So upset no more tours today.., said I can reschedule for tomorrow and pay $60 more for each person!!! No thanks
Sherri_C, Jun 2026
Oliver was a fantastic guide! Friendly, outgoing and very knowledgeable! Born and raised a few blocks from Sagrada, he was able to bring a new perspective to the tour!
jennifer_b, Jun 2026
It was so beautiful i nearly cried when i saw it . The architech was amazing and inside was trust spectacular
Marilyn_F, Jun 2026
This experience would have been excellent as our tour guide gave us lots of information. Unfortunately the church decided to close early and we didn't get our access to the towers which was disappointing as we wanted to do that too. Supposed to get a refund so waiting for that. Also we couldn't sit or stand and just look around to contemplate the magnificence of the work., as we were virtually pushed out.
Pamela_B, Jun 2026
Our guide was so knowledgeable and passionate about the Segrada. Made it fun! Tower is not for everyone. Several older folks had s tough time descending stairs (knees etc). Julia travel young folks at desk were bratty. There is a money exchange in same office and they laughed heartily at our expense because we went up to the wrong person. Not a little giggle…a long laugh for quite a while by all 3 of them. Tourists..I know. How stupid can we be, eh?
melissa_g, Jun 2026
Oliver was an amazing tour guide. He gave detailed information and history about the Segrada. The Segrada tour is worth time and money.
Scott_B, Jun 2026
Fantastic guide he made the experience that much better. The church was breathtaking and exceeded expectations. Jose was knowledgeable, fun and organized. 10/10
Julie_F, Jun 2026
Visiting the Sagrada Familia iis a must when in Barcelona! David, our guide, was great and gave lots of insight. Definitely include the spire access tour- but only if you can walk down 400 stairs!
lisa_w, May 2026
