- We cannot predict when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. In general, long lines are common at major attractions in summer, on most weekends, and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, local holidays). The skip-the-line ticket enables you to skip the line if indeed there is one. Unfortunately there is no way to foresee the days and times that produce lines
- All visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security check point, so please expect to wait 20-30 minutes to clear security
- Children younger than 6 years old, unaccompanied minors (under 18 years old) and people with reduced mobility are not allowed to go up to the towers
- A maximum of 9 people per booking
- As it is a Catholic church, visitors must dress appropriately, is requested for entrance to the Sagrada Familia Basilica. No tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts or sandals will be accepted. Also Visitors will not be allowed to enter with special clothing to celebrate any sort of festivities.
- Due to limited capacity of the elevators, there may be a waiting time between the Basilica and museum guided tour and elevator access. Tower visits will be without a guide. The lift´s operation is subject to cancellation depending on weather conditions and other causes. On the way out of the tower you may need to use the stairs.
- Failure to show up at the established check-in time may entail losing the tour.
- The Sagrada Familia kindly requests that visitors refrain from wearing or displaying any religious symbols upon entry. Please note that failure to comply may result in denial of entry.
- Although you may receive an email with a different address, the meeting point is always at OFFICE JULIÀ TRAVEL: C/SARDENYA 311.
- Admission staff may request official documentation to verify the children’s age (ID, Passport, etc). If this documentation is not provided, the payment of the difference corresponding to the adult rate may be required.

These people are running a scam!!! We are a party of 7, and we initially booked a Sagrada Familia Tour. We requested to upgrade the tour to include the Tower Access, and we paid the additional 207.62$ to upgrade. Then, on the day of, we never got the Tower Access, they said our tour did NOT include the tower access. The next day, I provided all the evidence of our email exchanges and additional payment and they refused to reimburse me!!!

I didn't realise that tickets to the Sagrada Familia sold out far in advance so this tour in Spanish was the only one available - so even though we couldn't understand a word of the tour, our guide Carmen was very professional and enthusiastic. A good experience overall.

Adriel (I think that was his
name) was an excellent tour guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and entertaining throughout the tour. We really enjoyed learning about the fascinating history of this unique church, and his storytelling made the experience even more memorable. I would definitely recommend this tour!

The Tower access is underwhelming and overpriced. Views are highly restricted and the wires are obstructive.

Pipo from Julia Travel was such an enthusiastic & informative guide. Would highly recommend this tour to learn so much about Sagrada Família & Gaudi. We enjoyed the tower experience but were absolutely blown away by the exterior & interior of the basilica. It is now on my bucket list to attend a mass there.

This was an excellent tour. Our guide explained so much both inside and outside that we would never of got had we gone on our own. The fast track tickets were exactly that. The tower was an excellent addition but is not recommended if you don’t like tight spaces. The inside of cathedral is very hot take a fan it is definitely needed.

The guide was unfriendly and unhelpful. Our Spanish was not good so we wanted to use Google Translate to help us to understand the contents better. She reacted with frustration. We were perplexed with her unpleasant behavior; she made us felt like being scolded by teacher at school rather than clients who were supposed to get her support and assistance.

The day before your partner cancel the tour and gave me only one option and without the”towers”, they only offered to give me a refund of the”towers” and I didn’t receive it yet.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Julià Travel.
I booked four tickets to the Sagrada Família with Tower access, specifically paying the higher price so our family could enjoy the Tower visit. Our voucher instructed us to meet the guide at 4:00 PM. We arrived at 4:05 PM, and another couple arrived immediately after us.
The staff told us that our group had already left and was already inside the basilica. That explanation simply did not make sense. Anyone visiting the Sagrada Família knows that it takes time for a guided group to pass through security and enter the church. In addition, the replacement tickets they gave us were also stamped 4:00 PM, which clearly indicates that the 4:00 PM entry had not yet begun. The group would not have entered until approximately 4:35–4:40 PM after security and group coordination.
Instead of allowing us to join the tour we had paid for, Julià Travel gave us basic admission tickets without Tower access. We lost the main part of the experience we had specifically purchased. To make matters worse, it appeared that no one in that time slot received Tower access, despite it being included in the tickets that were sold.
I paid a premium for Tower access and did not receive the service I purchased. I expect a refund for the Tower portion of the four tickets, as Julià Travel failed to provide what was advertised.
Finally, the guide’s attitude was extremely disappointing. Rather than trying to help or find a solution, they were moody, dismissive, and unpleasant, which made an already frustrating situation even worse.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Julià Travel. I hope the company will take responsibility and issue the refund that is owed.

I loved this tour. The guide we had was knowledgeable and entertaining. The cathedral was beautiful and if we come back to Barcelona, I will go there again. If you can handle the stairs, I highly suggest the tower tour.

The Sagrada Família church is beautiful but this tour left a lot to be desired. Too many people crowded and the tour guide was very nice but spoke too much and struggled with keeping all participants engaged. Beware the steps coming down are not for those who fear heights. Very narrow steps on the way down. Julia Travel was not a company I would recommend. The service in their office was poor to say the least and staff were rude and not friendly. Julia Travel cancelled multiple tours and left tourists from out of the country without options and showed no empathy or concern. Even when the staff agreed that they felt it was wrong to cancel, they left no options to help the travelers. Additionally, one male gentleman was so rude.
I do not recommend this tour. Book directly with Sagrada Família and avoid Julia Travel. They seem to be the worst agency in town.

We booked a tower access visit to Sagrada Família and when it was time to checking at Julía Travel, they told us that “due to a technical issue in the system “ this portion was not available. This was not communicated ahead of time. This was going to be the highlight of our Barcelona trip so it was extremely disappointing.

Expect a lot of great and interesting detail on Sagrada Família, Gaudi, and how Barcelona was in the late 19th and early 20th century. Highly recommend! Emilio our tour guide was very passionate about Gaudi and inspired us to see other Gaudi works in the city. We saw the towers and you have to be prepared to walk up and mostly down steps in narrow spaces.

The experience got canceled and I wasn't made aware of the cancelation until I showed up to the designated 'meet up' location (I arrived 45 minutos before the tour was scheduled to begin). The Viator agents/representatives informed everyone (day of the tour) all tours were canceled due to a special architect conference being held there. Granted, this special event wasn't a pop up event. I found out this event was scheduled months in advance. So in other words Viator sold me (and many others) tickets to a tour which was NEVER going to happen (due to this scheduled closure/ special event). So many of us wasted valuable time and money (hotel, UBER, other expenses, etc) only to be heartbroken about not being able to see this amazing Basilica. On top of that, I have to wait days, if not weeks, before I see my refund. I'm very disappointed in Viator. They had the obligation to be aware of closures, they should have notified everyone of the closure as soon as they found out, and most importantly they should have made some attempt to mitigate this HUGE inconvenience. Especially because I use their services several times every year. Do better next time Viator!

We booked with Julia’s Travel months in advance to find out “the day of” that we were not on their roster. We paid over $462.00 for a family trip. When they finally conceded, they penciled us in at 12:00 noon and not our scheduled time of 11:00 a.m (as noted on our reservation voucher).
Finally, what we did get was a history lesson of 45 minutes and not the 2 hrs - as promised. Lastly, it is best to purchase tickets directly from the Sagrada Família Website for $27.00 PP and not $93.00 PP. Not worth buying tickets from this agency. So disappointed.

Lots of people. Have to keep moving during the tour. Sometimes hard to hear and hard to understand when the guide talked fast with his strong accent. The Guide was dressed very informally (long shorts and t-shirt), and unfortunately, at the beginning of the tour, I judged that he may not do a good job. However, he spoke passionately about the Basilica and its history and did a wonderful job!
