Join us for an unforgettable half day hiking adventure! We will meet at a beautiful cafe located less than a mile from downtown Denver and after short introductions we will drive to the trailhead in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Once we arrive at the trail we will hike approximately 5k round trip. During the hike you will learn about nature, hiking, and take so many amazing photos you won’t know which one to post first. After the hike we will return to the cafe in Denver. I can provide transportation from the cafe to the hiking trail and back to the cafe upon request. Please let me know if you need transportation or if you have your own. If you do not let us know we will assume you have your own transportation to the trail.

This is a nice hike thats not far from Denver or difficult to hike. It takes less then an hour to get there and is about 30 minutes up to the lake. You can walk around the lake to where the glacier and cascades are and take in some amazing views before heading down and back to Denver. The whole trip can take less then 4 hours and well worth it.

All my tours are private and are certified by the state of Colorado as I have the proper commercial insurance. My vehicle is a luxury SUV that can transport up to 6 people. My company and I have been doing private tours throughout Colorado for over four years. This is a brand new tour and it is suited for some of the more adventurous people. First you will see the iconic Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater and then we will head up to the mountains for and adventure that includes a hike to a glacier and lake. In the winter people have been known to go sledding and skiing there. I usually bring a sled along if the passengers would like to try sledding. From there we go to Idaho Springs for a cowboy lunch and then to the Indian Hot Springs for a dip in the thermal pool or enjoy natural .thermal caves. I am a history buff and will bring out the unique history and stories of all the locations that we will visit. Come enjoy this wonderful tour with me.

We typically camp close to the vehicle, with a hike on the first day and a nearby hike on the second. We provide all the essentials: food, water, camping gear, hiking poles, headlamps, and bear spray. Just bring appropriate clothing and a rain jacket. Enjoy sandwiches on the trail and a BBQ dinner by the campfire in the evening. You’re welcome to relax with drinks and anything else legal in Colorado.

We have a minimum group number of 2 people and a maximum number of 4 in order to provide a personalized trip. We will take 2 llamas with us on the hike, and they will carry our gear. If you have more than 2 people in your group, you will be able to trade off who is leading a llama on the hike. Most children ages 8 and up will be able to lead a llama on their own.
