What are people saying about Costa Rica

Thank you Mop for the...
Thank you Mop for the wonderful tour! The way to the tour is very overwhelming due to the amount of people trying to get your business outside of the park. Once we were in the park it was a great time seeing animals, reptiles and insects. Mop has a highly trained eye and could spot the most interesting species big and small. And we got to see his favorite animal - the anteater!

Pura Vida
Amazing experience! Christian was a fantastic tour guide and allowed as to go as fast or slow as needed. He maintained safety as a priority while giving us the opportunity to take advantage of all the hike had to offer! Kennith was responsive to emails. Download the Viator app for to make things easier. Highly recommend! Not the easiest hike so be prepared for a strenuous workout.

Unforgettable morning in the jungle
What an incredible experience! Our family’s first time ziplining was with Santuario, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica.
From the moment they picked us up, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and kept us entertained during the drive. Once we arrived, everything was extremely well organized. They gave a thorough safety briefing, got everyone fitted with harnesses, and kept the group moving, so there was very little waiting between platforms. As someone who is terrified of heights, I really appreciated that. The first zipline was the hardest for me, but after that I was able to relax and enjoy every minute.
The course was incredible. Walking through the rainforest from platform to platform felt like exploring a real-life treehouse, and the 10 ziplines offered breathtaking views.
The guides were outstanding, professional, encouraging, and always focused on safety while making the experience fun. They were wonderful with the children in our group, and we loved seeing even the youngest adventurers confidently complete the course with their help.
The fresh fruit, water breaks, and delicious traditional Costa Rican lunch, with great vegetarian options, were the perfect finishing touches.
This was an unforgettable experience, and we would absolutely do it again. If you’re visiting Costa Rica, Santuario is a must. We felt safe, challenged ourselves, made amazing memories, and can’t recommend this experience enough!

Gentle and photo worthy trip
Great way to start off a trip to Costa Rica. The descent and climb seems easier than reported. For anyone in average health and ability to walk the path is very doable. If you would like to take is some wildlife and photos, enjoy their gift shop and food, and some of the other exhibits, plan for a few more hours.

I can not say enough good...
I can not say enough good things about this tour. I was a
bit apprehensive because this tour was much cheaper than the others in the area. I could not have been more wrong. Brian was amazing! He was so informative about each step in the process of creating chocolate and coffee. He was kind an answered all questions with a smile. I was pleasantly surprised with all of the delicious fruits provided. There was also info provided about how the fruit grows in costa rica. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Great tour and guide
It was my family’s first time in Costa Rica. Visiting the national park was top of our list of things to do/see. Our tour guide Javier was so nice, knowledgeable, and had a sharp eye for spotting even the smallest animals. He was quick to set up his scope and share scientific information on each animal and their importance to the country. Thanks to him we were able to see both species of sloths, howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, different butterflies, bats, different birds, tadpoles hanging from a leaf, hummingbirds, iguana, land crabs, aracari, stick bugs. We also spent some time on the Manuel Antonio beach and he even educated us about the poisonous Manchineal tree that is often found on Costa Rican beaches. The only negative about the excursion, that is no fault of Javier the tour guide, is there’s a lot of walking. Might not be ideal for young children unless you have a stroller. We had an 8 and 10 year old with us and it was hard for them because of the heat and humidity. We would still highly recommend this tour and Javier. Pura vida!

This tour was awesome!!...
This tour was awesome!! Gigi was very informative and very open to any questions we had! We got to make our own chocolate from scratch and our own coffee from grinding the beans to tasting it afterwards! I would highly recommend this tour, even on a rainy day because the tour is 100% covered with canopy’s!

Lots of fun!
A stand out activity for us!
My partner and I did this tour in April and loved it, very much a highlight of our trip.
Our guide (Braulio M) was great, very energetic and enthusiastic!
During the rafting we encountered a surprise rapid(?) that had not been there the day before, this did several cause boats including ours to completely capsize, however there was plenty of staff around helping everyone out the water and making sure everyone was safe!
The fruit provided was great, and the meal after the rafting was also good. There was also the option to purchase photos after the tour.
Would recommend!

Unforgettable Memories
We had an awesome experience with Outback ATV! Riding through the Arenal rainforest alongside the volcano was absolutely incredible and something we’ll never forget. Blake was fantastic to work with — very responsive with communication and made everything easy from start to finish. It was also my daughter’s 21st birthday, and the team went the extra mile to make it feel special, which meant a lot to us. Great people, amazing scenery, and an unforgettable adventure. We definitely recommend this place!

Great Tour! Definitely Recommend!
This was an awesome tour. I've been to a couple different other tours in La Fortuna over the years and this was my favorite. The staff is exceptional from start to finish. Augustin was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and funny! Will definitely be booking here again when I am back in La Fortuna!

Great Experience
This was a great experience. The boat had plenty of room. It was covered for people who didn't want to be in the sun all day. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was very friendly. We loved the music and people were dancing and having a good time. We got to see dolphins up close and the snorkeling was good. The snorkeling could have been better but it was cloudy and sometimes hard to see. There was a lot of swimming in order to keep up with our guide which was hard at times. We had a blast though and I would recommend it again!
