This must be the best tour operator in the park. We were blessed with Edwin for our guide. He was full of knowledge and was working with most if the other guides to help spot the best wildlife. If you are going to the park get a guide, they can spot invisible animals and are full of information.

The arrangements were clear with photos of where to park and the guide. The guide was very knowledgeable and spotted a lot of wildlife. We were the only 2 people on the tour as others had cancelled. We were able to get great views through his telescope and he sent us some great photos taken with his I phone (better quality photos than ours would have been) later.

1- Park is closed every Tuesday, open from Wednesday until Monday from 7am until 4pm
2- SINAC park tickets are NOT included with the tour tickets, you must purchase your entry tickets separately BEFORE the tour meeting

3- Instructions how to purchase the SINAC park tickets will be sent after you confirm your tour, PLEASE be AWARE of your email notifications for further information regarding recommendations and more
4- Private parking is available next to our office $10 USD additional, unfortunately the MANP doesn't have facilities as parking lot
5- Prebooked tickets MIGHT be available in resale for last minute bookings, BEFORE confirming your booking PLEASE message us in order to confirm that we still have tickets available

Exceptional Sightings!

This tour was exceptional. Mop showed us so many animals that I would not have been able to see on my own. We saw sloths, baby sloths, monkeys, baby monkeys, toucans, crabs, etc. I highly recommend booking this tour through the Manuel Antonio park. You will have to book a separate ticket to the park as well, but it's easy. After you tour the park, you will end up at the beach. I do recommend booking the 7:00 am tour and then staying at the beach for a while afterwards before the crowds start coming to the park. The water is so blue and there are trees and monkeys playing. It is spectacular.

We booked a private tour at 7 AM - highly recommended to go early as even an hour or so into the day, the trails are overcrowded and the guided trail is stacked (although, this provides more opportunities for guides to share information). However; this didn't deter us as our guide, Saul, was inhuman in his ability to spot wildlife, big and small. I can't recommend this tour enough and the private experience is worth the splurge. Saul was knowledgeable and you could tell he really, really cares about the park and the wildlife of Costa Rica in general.

Our guided tour of Manuel Antonio Park was perfect. Our tourguide MOP was very knowledgeable and having his eagle eye and HD lens ensured we saw all the wildlife! Go early for to beat crowds and heat, and for best wildlife views!

Saul was amazing! He had an extremely keen eye, had informative answers to all of our questions, and offered amazing suggestions for our time in the park. We saw so much beautiful wildlife and learned a lot about the park, its history, and its ecosystem. He was able to accommodate us early and took the full 2 hours to spot everything he could. I especially appreciated how he and all the other guides helped each other spot different wildlife to improve all of their tours. I would recommend Saul to anyone looking for an enriching experience of Manuel Antonio

Mop was an excellent guide! Funny and entertaining, kept the attention of the group, and we were awestruck at his ability to find wildlife. Took a leisurely stroll that ended at the beach where we were free to have our own time. Mop also had an excellent system of showing us the life of interest through his spotting scope, then taking a picture or video on his phone which he then sent to all of us after the tour. Made it possible for us to all see the animals AND didn’t soak up timing taking individual pictures on someone’s phone. Overall would recommend.

We cannot say enough great things about this tour! Our guide Daniel was so knowledgeable and had near super-human abilities when it came to spotting wildlife. We learned so much and got to see so much wildlife -- 2 kinds of sloths, 3 kinds of monkeys, several kinds of snakes and bats and lizards and spiders, coati, and even a forest crab. We also appreciated that Daniel sent us his scope photos after so that we could show our friends and family. We almost didn't come here because we heard it was crowded, but aside from a few high traffic areas it wasn't too bad and we are so glad we came!

Really good tour. Highly recommend booking the 7am as the weather will be cooler, trail less crowded and plenty of parking availability. The guide was great and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

Wonderful 2 hour tour through the main part of the park. Our guide, Saul, was so kind and knowledgeable. We learned so much and saw many species of frogs, birds, spiders, crabs, flowers and plants, capuchin monkeys, sloths, and howler monkeys. Our guide helped see everything beautifully through a scope and helped take great pictures. Perfect amount of time for us, and the tour ends at the gorgeous beaches on the tombolo, so you can easily walk back to the entrance or continue on hiking the Cathedral trails or enjoy the beaches. Lots of water filling stations along the way. Wear closed toe shoes, saw lots of people in flip flops, but there are rocky parts.

Our tour with Saul was exceptional. He arrived early, allowing us to enter the park before the rush and maintain a perfect pace ahead of the crowds. Saul has an incredible eye for wildlife; thanks to him, we saw macaws, sloths, monkeys, bats, and a variety of crabs and insects. His knowledge is deep, and he shared fascinating insights into both the animals and the local vegetation. Beyond the tour itself, Saul was kind enough to recommend specific trails for us to explore afterward. If you want a knowledgeable guide who knows how to navigate the park efficiently while spotting everything in sight, Saul is your guy!

Excellent tour guide (Saul?) with extensive knowledge and an eye for critters we would have never seen going alone. I did expect a ton more monkeys and birds along the way but you can’t predict nature. He had his scope so we could see the animals close up, he would take our phone to do phone scope photos! We saw one sloth, birds, crabs, lizard, huge grasshopper and several other critters too. This is a beautiful park and we loved seeing all the monkeys at the end along the tree line at the beach-look for moving branches! We enjoyed doing the self guided hike after the tour guide was finished.

Official Manuel Antonio guide - beware of the non-officials!

I am sooo happy I booked with them for Manuel Antonio. I had read online that there were a lot of tourist scams going there, but it was much worse than I had thought. These are the official guides of Manuel Antonio, and when we booked they sent us messages detailing how to avoid scams and exactly where to go, where to park, to buy the tickets of the park beforehand, do NOT stop with the car unless you have arrived at your destination. Our guide, Mop, was the best out there. He pointed out a lot of animals to the other non-official guides to show to their clients, and I could tell they really respected him. We went at 10am and the park was really quite crowded along the paths to see the animals, but the beaches are very wide and there is plenty of space. We saw cappuccino and squirrel monkeys, vipers, basilisks, snakes, sloths, other insects. He takes the picture of the animals with his phone and then sends them over to you. I really, really recommend booking a tour before going there to avoid scams.

Amazing experience with Mop. Incredibly knowledgeable. He found things with his scope that we couldn't even find after staring for 10 minutes. I was almost convinced he was able to replay digital pictures in his scope. Without him, we would have only seen 10% of what we did.

We really enjoyed this tour. They were very communicative from the beginning and helpful as we made our plans. The meeting location was very clear. Edwin did a great job finding animals, birds, etc along the way for us to see, and we learned a lot of interesting facts. I noticed he had a special addition on his spotting scope that allowed multiple people to see the animals at the same time, and for pictures to be shared with the group as part of the cost of the tour.

Brilliant tour. There is so much to see in the park - it’s so much easier with a guide to spot things and also see things close up with his equipment. Our guide, Mop, was excellent and he took some fantastic photos and footage along the way of the animals. Recommend an early tour if you want to spend ages at the beach as access to beaches closes at 3pm!

Mop was amazing! We saw lots of animals that we would have never seen without him. Not only did we get to see them through his scope but he also took lots of videos and pictures for us on his phone and then airdropped them to us at the end. He was also great with answer all of our 10 year olds questions during the tour.
