Great experience!!!!! We saw lots of animals and our tour guide was very informative and hilarious! We got to see so many Capuchin monkeys and one even climbed on my head!! An unforgettable experience. So glad we went. 100% recommend.

"Our mangrove tour with Rudolfo was nothing short of spectacular. From the very beginning, his expertise and passion for the ecosystem were evident. He has an incredible eye for detail, pointing out a diverse range of animals that we definitely would have missed on our own. Not only was he a fountain of knowledge, but he also went above and beyond by capturing high-quality photos of the wildlife and our group, ensuring we had perfect memories to take home.

Had a great tour with Enderson as our guide. His passion for the animals and ensuring we saw as much as possible was great. Nice to explore the area in a different way. Saw a sloth, monkeys, cool birds, and more.

It is fun boat trip. We are not only seeing many animals, but also learn the eco-system. The boat is comfortable and safe.

Minibus did not have a working seatbelt in the seat I sat in. Bus kept cutting out which could have been dangerous. Toilets by the boat launch were grim. Guide was great but we did not see much wildlife but that is nature for you. Lunch was mediocre. I have been on several boat tours and this one was the worst.

Great way to see the local flora and fauna. It is a smooth riding flat bottomed boat with a roof! So if it rains, no problem. Guide was great.

We got lucky and were the only people on the tour so we got a private tour with our guide Danny. Danny was very knowledgeable of the mangroves and fun to be with. We had a chance to see several species of birds, and active sloth, several groups of white face monkeys, numerous reptiles including a caiman. Overall fantastic time!

Enderson was magnificent! He has a huge base of knowledge in biology, botany, geology and history!
His sighting skills are amazing. We saw 5 sloths, many monkeys, aboutis, ibises, hummingbirds and many more.
He is enthusiastic and is obviously eager to share his knowledge.
He accommodated my physical limitations with concern and support.
If you take this tour, I would ask for him!

Our guide, Edgar, was so informative about the natural habitat of the mangroves. We were lucky enough to not only so many JC lizards but to watch 2 run across the water. With Edgar’s keen eye we say several unusual birds that he identified for us. Lunch in Quepos was a great ending to the tour

We had a brilliant guide, Kevin who was extremely knowledgeable. Without a guide we would never have seen the boa or cayman hiding in the undergrowth. Highly recommend this trip, reasonable price which includes lunch and hotel pickup

The river trip is lovely and Anderson our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic which was great. However, if you're on the 1 pm trip please note that the meal provided is not exactly lunch since you have it after the trip at about 4.30 so plan accordingly.

The ride was nice. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. We asked for the tour in Spanish when booking but it was in Enlglish. Once I mentioned this to the tour guide, he did the tour in both languages but this is the second tour booked where we had to ask about a Spanish tour when that is what we booked. The lunch offered after was great. We did see a few animals, mostly white faced monkeys.

The trip is scheduled for one pm but the guide only arrives at one thirty. In our case we arrived early as we were coming for jaco.i only looked at the app at 12:30 when we arrived only to see he would be coming at 1:40. In the end he arrived at 14 and didn't have a voice, so it was a strain to hear him at all and my husband doesn't hear well to begin with.

Water provided but you may need bug spray and lotion. Our guide Enderson was well informed and passionate about making everyone happy and informed. I feel like I want to go the night tour now

We had such a great time in our mangrove tour. Kevin and nacho were great! Nacho was our boat operator and Kevin was our guide. Both were knowledgeable and friendly. I loved that they really respected wildlife and the animals. There is another tour that operates in that area and those tour guides were feeding the animals, which makes them unafraid of humans. So I highly recommend using this tour because they respect wildlife! The dinner afterwards, was so good! An unexpected surprise. They take you to a local restaurant nearby. The food was delicious! Then we went and took a sunset walk which was not far from the restaurant. Highly recommend!

We had such a lovely, knowledgeable guide and captain. We saw all sorts of insects, lizards, monkeys, birds and plants as well as the mangroves. The biggest bonus was seeing a crocodile for us but for other people seeing a sloth was clearly theirs. We had seen about 8 sloths including a baby on our San Jose tour. Highly recommended

Travelling by river boat is beautiful. The lush, green forest and magroves all around are gorgeous. Our guide, Rodolfo, was very knowledgeable about many plants and animals.

If you want to have a unique experience with a knowledgeable guide you should book this tour with Kevin. Where else can you see monkeys, caiman, Jesus lizards and a whole host of rare and interesting birds in a mangrove forest? Highly recommend!

This tour offered a wonderful feel for the mangrove ecosystem and its natural beauty. We saw a great variety of wildlife, especially many different bird species, which made the experience even more memorable. The provided transport was smooth and convenient, adding to the overall comfort of the trip. A special thanks to the guide and captain, whose sharp eyes and knowledge helped us spot wildlife we would have otherwise missed. Highly recommended for nature lovers!

Our guide was focused on ecological preservation and was as friendly as he was informative. Other companies had guides that fed the wildlife, but we were very happy to see that ours did not. Kevin was a wonderful tour guide. Not only does he have a great eye to spot even the smallest of ants, but we had fun exchanging our cultural idioms and learning from each other. He is a charming young man! We also hit the jackpot with the monkeys and learned som much about the mangrove ecosystem.

Gorgeous day in the mangroves! Saw so many birds and lizards up close, specifically basilisk lizards, and we even saw two run in water! Also saw two boas and learned about the importance of the mangrove to Costa Rica. Such a cool experience!
