This was an amazing tour. Our tour guide was fabulous. He spotted 8 sloths with his spotting scope and took pictures for us through the spotting scope so that they were very clear and easy to see. He also talked about the flora and what sloths eat. He identified the differences between the two-toed sloth and the three-toed sloth. 🦥 He was very easy to talk to and we asked a lot of questions. It is absolutely one of the top experiences we had during our time in Costa Rica. I highly recommend it!!

Rallye great. We tout the second morning slot, we were only people..We saw sloths, small blue jean frogs, monkeys. Beautifull place and very sustainable path.

We had an amazing tour with Bernarl who helped us take photos of the sloths and frogs we saw. His knowledge was impressive and we had a great time.

Edson was amazing! We had to dodge thunderstorms but were able to see quite a few sloths including one having a snack! Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for sloths in their natural habitat!

This small group walking tour takes you through a natural environment to spot sloths and other wildlife. The tour is rain or shine, bring a poncho (just in case!) Sadly, it poured on our tour but our guide was still able to find sloths, lizards, birds, frogs, etc. for us to watch. Our guide brought a telescope for enhanced viewing and pictures. Our tour lasted a little over two hours and ended with fresh fruit for our group to enjoy.

We had a great time on the tour! We saw so many sloths, even caught one moving. Our tour guide was very knowledgable. Kids loved the tour, they were engaged the whole time.

This tour was incredible, and we saw so much more than just sloths (although we saw plenty of those -- I think we saw about ten of them, including two or three babies, and we saw the faces of 6-8 of the sloths)! In addition to the (surprisingly active) sloths, we also saw a toucan, poison dart frogs, leaf cutter ants, a rufous motmot, a cool lizard, and a pair of crested guans, as well as some interesting insects. Our guide, Ivania, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and skilled at her job. She did a great job of spotting things, got great photos and video of the animals for us, was very generous with her time, and was super fun to talk to. The time with her flew by, and we had an absolute blast, so much so that we recommended this tour to multiple other people we met while in other locations on our Costa Rica trip (and now we are recommending it to you! :) ).

Our guide was amazing, he was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and pointed out things we wouldn't have seen on our own

This is an easy flat walk through a nature preserve with one suspended bridge. We saw several (8??) sloths, some of which had babies, and many of which were active (eating, scratching, climbing) without any intervention from the tour guide. If a tour guide “whistles” at the sloth, that’s cruel behavior! This lets the sloths know a predator (a hawk) is coming. This company treats the sloths with respect! Our guide, Ivania, was incredible.

Ivania was an amazing guide. We appreciated her energy and patience and expertise! Saw lots of sloths!

Definitely worthwhile - we saw 8 🦥, including few babies. No chance you can find them without a guide.
A great walk in the rainforest as well.

Really nice stroll through the forest seeing lots of different animals including sloths. We saw approximately 5 different sloths and one had a new baby. Our guide was fantastic and took the time to shows us different flora and fauna and to explain the area. When we went it was just my wife and I, not sure if that would always be the case but it made for a great experience. The cold watermelon at the end was a nice treat.

My wife, my 11 year old grandson and I really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide was a wonderful young woman who seemed to really enjoy her work and sharing her wealth of knowledge of the rainforest and its inhabitants with us. The trail was easy to navigate and we were able to see a number of sloths including a mother and baby in their natural habitat. The guide brought a telescope on a tripod along to give us clear view of numerous sloths in the trees. A very enjoyable, well managed walking tour which I am pleased to recommend.

This tour was phenomenal, our guide was Ruben and he was amazing, very knowledgeable and a likable person. He has a gift for this! The tour itself really takes you inside the dense jungle and we got to see multiple sloths! I would 100% recommend this tour! Everyone was great and the environment was amazing.

Super amazing! We saw so many animals and our guide was fantastic. He had a keen eye & noticed things I never would have seen. Highly recommend. This is worth the affordable price!

Had what turned out to be a private tour with Ruben for myself and daughter. He was so great. And had my daughter talking the whole time (normally she stays silent). He found lots of mama sloths and we even saw a group of monkeys. Highly recommend.

Amazing time! Our guide Jason was super helpful at pointing out sloths that were very well hidden - we saw 4-5 with babies! Had a great time

The sloth watching tour was so excellent! Edison was a really great guide. We saw sloths (of course), as well as a bunch of other animals. It was so cool to see so many animals in their natural habitat and to learn so much about them from a knowledgeable guide. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful property, extremely well maintained. I wonder if they need another occupant or guide!? Bernald was a very knowledgeable bi-lingual guide who took the time to point out so many critters (blue Jean frogs, black squirrels, various lizards and iguanas, ants marching along in formation and many birds). He shared so many facts/anecdotes. The sloths today were on full display- we got to see a couple of mamas with their babies (some asleep and one was awake)!! And we saw both 2 and 3 toed sloths! What more could you ask for!? We even got a quick treat of fresh sliced up watermelon after the tour which was so refreshing. Bernald was fantastic. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed!

This place is amazing! Our guide was so knowledgeable and let us see lots of animals including the sloths. He also took wonderful pictures for us. I was recommending this place for the rest of our trip.

Our guide was Rueben and he was extremely knowledgeable and personal. The trails were very easy to access and we learned many things about sloths. They have a great system for marking where sloths can be found. A must do!

We had SUCH a great time on this tour! Our guide was wonderful and helped us to see SO much wildlife from a mama/baby sloth pair (7 sloths total!) to a poison dart frog the size of a ladybug to lots of amazing birds. I wanted to do the whole thing again right away when it was done!

Excellent tour and very informative guide. We had the chance to see sloths and a baby one. A lot of birds and toucans, squirrels etc.

I joined a morning sloth tour on 13 April 2026. My tour was led by Jason. I was impressed by his love of nature, respect for nature and how he inspires us to respect nature by our actions sovthat nature will look after us too - never feed wild animals, stay on the trail, turn volume off, speak quietly, do not touch plants (can be poisonous). We are visiting their homes.
We sighted 5 sloths, both 2 toes and 3 toes - one sleeping, one moving slowly, one eating leaves, one mummy sleeping with her fluffy ball baby. We were treated with water melon at the end of the visit.
It is a private reserve, and the forest in it is as wild as it gets, with lots of sloths.
It is paradise for nature lovers.

We felt like the luckiest travelers of all-time: a sloth climbed down from a tree right in front of us (which only happens once every 7-10 days). Our guide was also excellent!
Casey_L, Apr 2026
Lots of fun! Our tour guide was very knowledgable and easy to follow! Definitely wear insect repellent!!

Great experience and very doable hike for all ages. We saw many sloths and even a Momma and Baby. It was such a cool experience and would highly recommend.
Jess_G, Apr 2026
Best place to spot sloth! We saw 9 sloths. 2 different species. Very close. Perfect spot to see them.
Angela_S, Apr 2026
This was an awesome experience. How do you come to Costa Rica and not come see the sloths. We were the only ones for our tour, so that was awesome. We saw monkeys, red poison frogs, basilisk lizards, lots of different birds, 7 sloths including one baby sloth. So cool. Got lots of great pictures. Our tour guide was awesome, she could really spot everything and helped us with taking some awesome pics and videos. I would highly recommend this tour.
